Ha! Loved this, big fan of the Tony Hawk games and this did them justice! Only complaint I have is that doing full flips didn't earn me any extra points  Congrats on your first compo! Good job!

Lol nice, this was great. Got 780 points :) Well done!
@maggardjosh thanks man. I tried to implement more moves but I dont have time to do this. But I agree, it's a shame that flip's dont give extra points. As my first compo I am afraid of don't complete the game, so I decided to stop implement more moves. Flips e even a wall plant are in scope. I hope you get some fun, thanks for play. A question, have you played with a contoller?
@appoxgames thanks! That is a good score! I hope you enjoyed the game. Thanks for play!
@ulisses No problem, I really enjoyed it! I did not use a controller, just keyboard.
@maggardjosh thanks! Play with a controller is wayyy better, if you try I think you will enjoy a lot. Thanks bro.
Had a lot of fun with this one! I did play with a controller as you said, but I needed to click the UI with the mouse to restart, would be nice to be able to select it with the controller too. Sometimes if a trick was nearing the end of the animation just as I hit the ground, I would fail when it didn't look like I should, maybe work in some leeway there as to feel more fair to the player. Also discovered that you can just spam a trick button and gain tons of points even if the animation wasn't finished yet! Nice work and congrats on your first compo! :)
Nice to see someone else went to Tony Hawk's for inspiration! It's a fun idea, a bit more feedback when you fail would make it a lot more satisfying, and it'd be nice to score points for flips as well, but it's a really well realised concept for a compo game!
I had to play as soon as I saw it. I couldn't get the score, but I figured out how to flip my guys out of the halfpipe. :v: Thanks for sharing the entry!
I like this. Your game is sending me down a rabbit hole. I guess xpogo is a relatively new sport despite pogo sticks being around for like 80 years? I wonder if a game like this was a big hit, would pogo become like skateboarding, with everyone buying pogo sticks to try to be the next Toby Kangaroo?
This was really cool, the only thing I want to mention though is you said the controls are A/S to spin but when I played it was actually A and D to spin it.
This game is really frickin hard lol. But it gave me a lot of good belly laughs.
This was a great idea, I find it hilarious and you pulled it off well. A good parody of the Tony Hawk games. I immediately tried doing flips, so I agree, you have to add that at some point! I liked the music and the whole presentation, really well put together. Now I'm laughing at the idea of fully 3D version of this, bouncing around a skatepark on a pogo stick.
that is a good idea. nice game overall and nice music too but it was way too sensitive for me.. other than that i think the game is solid
Ha, great concept! Looks great, very polished. I couldn't quite get into the gameplay because I found the controls way too delicate (on keyboard) to balance myself out effectively, but looking at the other comments, looks like most people didn't have that problem. So really good job!
Hi there, thank you for making this. It pulls you right in, but it really felt "unstable" at times, where the slightest tap would imply game over, where the next turn I could literally faceplant and still be alive... Overall, REALLY nice entry, well done ! Could become a great mobile game if the controls are simplified and a bit more robust.
Nice concept! The input for the spin felt a little unstable (maybe it's on theme) but otherwise a very solid entry. Congrats on finishing a game and keep up the good work!
@corbeng thanks for playing. As you said, the game will be better if we use the joystick for all the interactions, but I dont´t have time to do this (mabe in a update). I need to fix these spam trick to in the future. Actually, these game need more work, but I'm happy with the final result. I hope these bugs don't messed you gameplay. Thanks.
@blobby101 thanks for playing! I really should make flips as tricks, but I don´t have time to do. Maybe in the future. Tony Hawks is one of my childhood games, and recently I bought the remake and love it. I hope you enjoyed. Thanks!
@epicgamefan haha, pull out the pipe is a part of diversion and expected :D Thanks for playing!
@tykenn I relly think the same haha. Thinking with my self I never see anyone make these tricks on pogo. Probabilly someone do this, mas I never see and for sure I think is a great idea put this on xgames :D
@cheeks haha, thanks a lot! I finished so fast and I lost my first bind settings so I have to remake and forgot to change the description. You help me, thanks for playing!
@david-bohan haha, I know sometimes it´s hard, but as you said we can have a lot of fun and laughts trying new tricks. I can make it easier, but due to the theme I decided let the gameplay more instable. Thanks for play!
@reef that fully 3d version looks nice haha. Imagine the stages? Maybe a restaurant, or a classroom hahaha. Thanks for play!
@appoxgames If you are playing on keyboard the controls are really sensitive. Try a joystick and maybe you can have some fun. I hope this don´'t have make you frustrated. The musics acre crucial for the mood, so I tried to find someones who remember me the firsts Tony Hawks games sound tracks. Anyway thanks for play!
@pdotjpg hi! The controls are way better on joystick, but it is "playable" in the keyboard with some pratice. But if you give another chance with a controller I think you will enjoy. Thanks for play!
@javasaurus hi! So, die was one of the last things I done in the game, so it is a little unstable (conditions/feedback). But I hope that bugs don't make you frustrated with the game. About the mobile, it's a good idea since I think about how make the control easy on mobile. Thanks for play!
@kumber thanks for play! So the input I could make the input less instable but I decided make this way due to the theme. And thanks, I'm really am very proud of my first compo deliver, and hope you enjoyed the game. Thanks!
