Hexworld by icxon 2021-10-04T21:33:39Z

Really cool idea - I like the game a lot. Any chance of a windows build? Slightly slow in browser for me.

The music is great, watching the little people fight is fun. My only regret is a lack of the pillars collapsing, although if that's just because it was laggy and I didn't get far enough then touuchee.

First Flight by defectivemelon 2021-10-06T09:02:42Z

All puzzle games should have CTRL-Z as undo. It's great. the blur as the boxes move is lovely, and the puzzles step up in a decent difficulty level. I got stuck on level 5 for a little while.

Also the cute bird eye blinking at you is great and a nice little bit of extra interest. Good job!

-Y- by Iluvatar 2021-10-05T09:11:37Z

I like the sound design and visuals a lot. Having to interpret the icons was fun and it was a cool experience. As some of the others have mentioned, a little short! Would have loved to have seen more but such is jam life!

Droppy Blocky by blacksheepza 2021-10-04T20:17:36Z

I used 23 blocks and got 4m. I like it! Little man's face is great. I definitely didn't get much finesse down, and got into just yeeting them everywhere. Had fun! Also seems stable.

Bullet Hellements by Fiote 2021-10-04T19:55:49Z

Okay - it looks super cool but for reasons I don't entirely understand it's running terribly in my browser. Any chance of a Windows build? I'd like to give it a proper go.

Meltdown: The Complete Guide to Reactor Maintenance. by triggthediscovery 2021-10-07T12:43:59Z

Okay, so the game is incredibly complex and front loads waaaaay too much information.

That said - I love the idea. The wide variety of tools are exciting, animations ae clean and the different ways of problem solving depending on the issue - great. The music is great too - it's just a litttttle too much to process all at once!

Dizzard Wizzard by ryjcio 2021-10-07T21:28:46Z

Very cool. Damage felt a little low from fireball but that's not a big deal. I found aiming hard as well when trying to specifically hit things.

All of that said- I enjoyed it a lot! great animations, good audio, cool mechanic. It's obviously got stuff in line with Magicka but a very cool entry.

Cynthia and the Forest Restaurant by CloudLunar 2021-10-06T16:25:56Z

Nice loop, very clean.

I liked the pot changing colour to give you a concept of time passing - I missed it the first time around so kept opening and closing the pot to check. Music is good, but now I want more food.

Outer Space Transport Service by Turncoda 2021-10-05T09:16:40Z

It is excellent, but I am bad. I never realised how much I rely on being able to easily cancel out forward momentum.

I loved slingshotting around meteors - the "I wonder if this works" into rapidly looping around was ace. I didn't have issues with the screen scroll so good job on the fix

Darkness In Bloom by Simon Rahnasto 2021-10-08T20:19:02Z

Super cool. I had a couple of issues when I didn't realise that I couldn't make plants grow more and I would've liked some of the smaller scale plants to really bloom when you funnel energy into them and have a big explosion of life.

That said - Great! sound design is lovely, graphics are ace - liked it a lot.

Launch Yourself! by Nehvis 2021-10-08T09:00:05Z

Game is haaaard. There was some definite room for finessing shots to make small adjustments but I am not good enough.

Fullscreen worked (at least for me) and was absolutely mandatory. The music volume is also good! I enjoyed it! I got stuck for a while on the small platform below a large vertical but made it eventually. Good job.

Day Broken by UglySwedishFish 2021-10-05T17:02:17Z

oooof that's unpleasant. In a good way (as ever) but yeeeeesh. I really liked the computer voice a whole lot, liked(hated) the ambience. One tweak I'd suggest is balancing out the voice over when your character speaks as that scared me just by being loud >.> It did work for me straight away though - extracted all into folder and worked well!

Day Broken by UglySwedishFish 2021-10-05T17:05:34Z

Yeah I think so too :P It's the ol' "horror is both great but boy I struggle with horror"

Things We Left Behind by Cubanfrog 2021-10-05T16:00:30Z

Super cool idea. I really like the idea of a game that evokes Ozymandias as this does. The music is good, it's relaxing - my only change to gameplay would be changing how the decay works, as houses are so limited - maybe putting a timer on once it's reached the decay threshold so it'll collapse in a couple of turns. Nonetheless, very cool!

Atomica by Wassim 2021-10-10T21:27:09Z

Game looks cool, and music is good - the main thing I'd like is a way to pull the targets to the player - maybe just some kind of magnetism to increase the radius you can grab the various bits at? As others have mentioned aiming can be difficult and I think just increasing your pull radius would help quite a bit!

Unstable Chemistry by Laurari 2021-10-09T08:29:17Z

Very cool! I would like it if the belt was slightly slower as my rubbish brain struggled to process things, but good! I loved the audio design and the bubbling.

Prakzar's Problematic Potion Puzzle Pit by Echo GameWorks 2021-10-10T21:35:06Z

Great idea - It sucks to be Prazkar, and that he has a sad expression was an excellent touch.

I'd tweak the controls slightly - probably make space jump and something else (e?) pickup but I liked the idea. As others have mentioned, the combos felt harder to make use of than I wanted but very cool despite that.

Moth Boi by manmantas 2021-10-05T09:01:01Z

Game's beautiful and the music is great! Great use of outlines - is it a shader or is it something like duplicating the mesh and flipping the normals?

The one change I'd make going forwards would be making it so you can toggle between forms - occasionally I was just mooching about waiting for it to swap.

EDIT: It just occurs to me that that's the unstable. I am not a smart man.

Pinfall by geist_191 2021-10-09T08:44:31Z

Man, it's hard to go wrong with pinball. It's ace. Great music, satisfying bumps and clicks and dings. Really interesting seeing pinball combined with a platformed. Game was very hard but definitely worth the play. Great work.

Chaos Dungeon by CookieRA 2021-10-06T16:17:50Z

Like the mechanics a lot - the lack of sond is a shame, as noted, but such is life when there's not enough time! One request I personally would make would be to remove the motion blur, or add a toggle! It does funny things to my eyes.

Despite that - good job!

Time Rift by Unrivaled Super Hottie 2021-10-08T13:19:04Z

Cool game! Time swap mechanic is great - I really like the snapping between worlds. The main difficulty I had was with mantling - I couldn't quite tell when it was triggering so I had to try a couple of jumps several times whilst i tried to get that down.

Excellent work for 3 days - I'm very jealous of your desert. I wanted one but ran out of time!

Go Hard! by bernard-bumblebutt 2021-10-05T13:14:30Z

Great polish, loved the juice. The laughing took me pretty seriously by surprise. The first time I played it felt a little thin on enemies but as it went on there were notably more- which was good. I I enjoyed it!

Among Monolyths by Dekajoo 2021-10-05T17:10:55Z

Ooh, this is great. I can definitely feel the witness in the puzzles - I lvoed that game and they've got a similar feel for sure. "Who are you" is a great detail. I got stuck on puzzle 6 for a little while but very good. Nice work.

Jumpy Train! by Szkocka 2021-10-05T15:53:02Z

So I gave the game a go - I don't exactly know what I did but my train took off and flew off the top of the screen >.> I left it running as it seemed to work quite well up there and I like how the terrain changes as you go! Cool idea!

unSTABLER by C0nt 2021-10-10T21:23:33Z

This is the stupidest game I've played all jam and I love it. The voiceover is fantastic and really makes it. The cutscene was fantastic even though I had no idea what was happening.

Trenchrunner by curleysam 2021-10-04T21:23:41Z

The music is ace. Like, real good. I initially wasn't convinced shooting was worthwhile but as they started charging at me it was a nice change of pace. Good game. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Tables & Tremors by SlimmerBurger 2021-10-04T21:18:22Z

Boy, I am bad. But it's excellent. I like the hands, I like the dithering. Feels good, moves cleanly if hard. Very cool.

Kevin Is Unstable by Uraffululz 2021-10-04T19:33:20Z

I enjoyed it! Mostly spent my time watching Kevin pottering around and kicking things.

I think i hit a couple of bugs though! Kevin seemed to get stuck kicking a lamp and no more damages happened.

Great take on the theme though. GJ!

Bob's Underworld by chesschaser 2021-10-05T09:19:59Z

Got to 49 m until I got slapped by a falling boulder. I liked it! Music was good. Agreed with the edges of platforms having collision catching me by surprise.

Runstable by FluffyGameDev 2021-10-05T12:31:11Z

I enjoyed it! the first time I mantled caught me by surprise, in good way. it would be nice if the wallrun transition was slightly smoother, and if you manage to wall run right at the bottom theres some mesh clipping visible - but good!

BRUTEFORCE by TotteriLudum 2021-10-05T13:00:23Z

My favourite game of the jam so far. I absolutely binned it at the end - chose the wrong person! Got some names muddled up. On the plus side, easy to retry.

Great audio, great tone. I liked the hacking minigame, and the loop was great. Time passing strongly reminded me of the Return of the Obra Dinn. Great work. My (absolute TINIEST) of niggles was that there was a tiny jump when the background audio looped.

Great work, should be very happy. I got stuck into the reading and apparently my temp had hit 99. V good.

BRUTEFORCE by TotteriLudum 2021-10-05T14:05:11Z

@totteriludum That's fair. And it is genuinely a verry very small thing - I wouldn't worry about it!

ARCHamster JoJonson's Bizzare Adventure: Unstable Crusade by AreyWarlord 2021-10-05T08:55:44Z

The audio is a nightmare. In a good way - the low hum of space and the wailing of the alarm were distinctly unpleasant!

One problem I did have - sometimes, it seems like doors wouldn't open and I couldn't work out why. I got stuck in a corridor between rooms >.>

Baby Atom by MarkVeligod 2021-10-07T12:54:29Z

I enjoyed it! I got absolutely blatted by purple balls over and over again. Those things are faaaast. The colours are excellent, the world looks good. Very hard though! I'd try and scale back the difficulty ramp but good stuff!

Super Mutant Horse by cannashblue 2021-10-05T17:16:56Z

Hah! I enjoyed it a lot. I absolutely struggled to not fling myself into the fires, which I did over and over again, but that's a me problem. Great horse sprite too. Simple and fun!

Crazy Cauldron by Quite Good 2021-10-06T08:57:59Z

wow! that really was... Quite Good (eh, eh?).

Games great! Simple and easy to understand. I occasionally couldn't identify which desaturated colour I was looking at but my monitor colours are a bit buggered. Music was good, animations are luverly and the design of various people and ingredients is ace. Well done, super good

Switching Realms by Artemistake 2021-10-05T17:55:12Z

Simple but cute! I enjoyed the art and steady pace in the bass line. Keep it up!

Meltdown by diharaw94 2021-10-05T12:35:43Z

Funky music! Definitely works better on gamepad, good shout. Building towers and pootling around is great. I did accidentally quit back to the menu when trying to pause the game to grab a drink but otherwise I enjoyed!

What is Watt? by XOREAXEAX 2021-10-04T21:27:20Z

Man, I love the horns.

This game is super cute! I immediately managed to throw myself knee deep in debt but very enjoyable. Lovely animations, and I really like the spikes in ratio across the day - very much the "time for a cup of tea" in the evening.

I only got one bitcoin miner.

The Bomb Office by Turtle Games 2021-10-04T19:37:25Z

Loved the idea - I went in expecting Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes and enjoyed the different. I did have an issue where no more bombs seemed to spawn? I'm not sure if that's me misunderstanding the game or something else!

Brasópolis: Unstable Economy by Fernando Sydenstricker C. 2021-10-08T08:52:12Z

Being kicked to death by the monopoly man was not how I expected my day to go.

It was fun! Camera a little shonky, and I died trying to jump onto a building to pick up a dollar sign. All of that said, I enjoyed myself. I would've liked slightly tenser music to be at odds with the bright theme but that's a personal preference.

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-04T19:52:43Z

Oh no! Is there no download link on the Itch page? I can see it on my pc. I'm currently doing the Mac and WebGL build, although I think the WEBGL might be too slow.

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-04T20:12:57Z

Cheers! That's basically exactly what I was going for :) Glad you enjoyed it!

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-04T20:24:47Z

Hah I mostly didn't know how to change to it! And to do stuff - go to the door and look at the bolts on the box to the left hand side - they should highlight and that'll get you started :) I'll add something to the description once I hook up the quit button >.>

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-04T21:12:21Z

Yeah cheers! Unfortunately time got pulled very thin so tutorialisation fell by the wayside >.> Thanks for playing! I appreciate it.

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-05T08:51:15Z

Thanks all - glad you enjoyed it! Communication definitely fell by the wayside towards the end. My code on day 3 was an absolute mess and I had to cut cut cut.

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-05T15:17:22Z

@binary-systems thanks! again - definitely right. If I was doing it again I'd put a diagram on the wall to the left of the tunnel to make it clearer what you're meant to be doing. The original idea was that there'd be more puzzles, but then it turned out that making things is always longer than you want it to be. Glad you enjoyed it :)

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-05T15:50:20Z

@szkocka thanks Szkocka! I'm glad you liked it :)

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-05T16:55:45Z

@uglyswedishfish Thanks! I dig it - I had some issues sorting out the audio curves. It's why the fans are silent!

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-06T08:46:58Z

@defectivemelon thanks! the clock was meant to be an everpresent remninder but it definitely gets annoying - i discovered this whilst testing it was working but didn't have time to fix it! Glad you enjoyed it and liked the fonts! I'm a sucker for a nice sans.

@quite-good yeah I didn't have time to work in settings and adjust the audio. I'm glad you enjoyed it (and I haven't actually watched Chernobyl, even though I quote it at the beginning - it was something my brother mentioned that I thought worked with it)

@tubadude99 Yeah! Alas I ran out of time (a classic creep problem) cause I wasted a load of time making things I then had to cut. Cheers for the resolution issue - I think I've fixed it so will reupload that (i forgot to adjust the anchors, if you're familiar with Unity)

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-07T14:12:20Z

@markveligod Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

@triggthediscovery Excellent! Thanks for playing!

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-07T21:18:59Z

@kiwi663 thanks for playing! glad you enjoyed it!

@terryg you're definitely right - I ended up cutting the map because I overcomplicated it and was trying to make it a digital thing that took a while to open, to add to stress - it just ended up taking too long!

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-09T08:47:22Z

@cad yes, you are correct, they are meant to be able to be hide in. I did not realise that you couldn't fit inside - I must have made the mesh too tight. I'll see if I can patch that this weekend - cheers for letting me know! Glad you enjoyed it.

@xsangyhix Thanks! And yeah the beginning is for sure waaaaay too obtuse. I'm glad you enjoyed it though! If I had more time I'd have put an instructional posted on the wall.

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-10T21:18:54Z

@cad Just letting you know I fixed it. Turns out I'd accidentally left in a collider like a scrub. Again, appreciate you letting me now.

@c0nt Thanks for playing! What were the graphical glitches? Was it mesh clipping cause boy that caused me issues and is not easily fixable but if it's something else I might be able to fix it.

@brandondev Cheers brandon! This is another one of those "oh boy" moments - the puzzle locations are totally random and I didn't have time to properly seal off the ends (ergo why they've got weird solid walls with no textures). But you're for sure right.

@wassim thanks! I too wished I'd had more time to make more puzzles!

The Forgotten World by QueenOfSquiggles 2021-10-04T21:16:17Z

I enjoy the unpleasant music. I do also feel like that guy you talk to early is definitely you or someone doing the jam. Undertale inspiration is clear, and it still works here! I did get stuck talking to a big skull though - game wouldn't let me move out. It's a cool start!

Disruption by WYL TEAM 2021-10-06T09:54:18Z

Oof, that's a sad and too recognisable mood throughout.

Aesthetics and mood are bang on - audio is great, little bit of chromatic aberration - all good stuff. The levels are slightly too big for your move speed, I think - would prefer if they were slightly tighter. I also kept accidentally firing the shots trying to click through the dialogue once I'd read it!

Broadly though - great!

A Year of Rest by Binary Systems 2021-10-05T15:26:09Z

Quick couple of bugs- I managed to walk out the wall of the grocery store after buying cigs, having missed the door. The floor in your lobby was jittering for me - not sure if me or the geometry.

Aside from that. I found the TV really unpleasant (in a good way, i think) and i'm interested in giving the book a read! There was more in the world than I expected, although the health ticking down when I got hit by a car and by walking into someone made it feel strange when my health (?) hit zero!

WildGuess by Rashid 2021-10-10T21:50:19Z

I liked the noises the characters made, and the art. As others have mentioned I felt bad for the robot!

also (spoilers here) was it implied that the robot leaves to go with the husband of the other partner? The flowers link definitely made me think so!

I would like more families, and also a transition when time changes happen - even just a fade to black after you make a suggestion. But good!

Lumen Sphera by BrandonDev 2021-10-10T21:30:29Z

Strong portal vibes.

Excellent audio - the pickup and putdown sounds were super satisfying. The puzzles were cool, and you can see the potential for more down the line with some more polish. Good job!

Breach - My first Ludum Dare game! by thebmanishere 2021-10-05T13:09:07Z

Thanks, I hate it.

But seriously! Definitely getting real SCP-173 vibes.

I wasn't 100% on how to use the lights effectively - was the goal to shine the lights when it was inbetween, or when it was past? Typing things when panicking is a great idea, as is forcing you to look away. Keep up the good work!

Uncertain Orbits by Malcolm 2021-10-09T08:35:27Z

This game is great. I took 20 attempts!

I'd have liked a few more visual clues about gravity but honestly it was a lot of fun. After the first level I was a bit confused as to what we were doing but when the planet arrived immediately got excited. Having the angle at the top right was super useful to allow for small adjustments.
