Simple but cute! I enjoyed the art and steady pace in the bass line. Keep it up!

I like the graphics. Something unique with character. The swing on the animations could a bit more visible and enemy spawning might be improved with a more random directions they come from. Overall i like it.

This is such a fun concept! The art is amazing, I can tell you put a lot of work into getting the colors and textures just right, and it looks fantastic. Great job!

Nice game! Different time and places :). I found harder the fish one haha

The idea to protect portal is interesting but levels unfortunately feel the same. So it quickly became boring. I loiked soinds of portal absorbing enemies! =)

Good. I liked the graphics very much.

Fun game - I like the variety of different locations, and protecting the portal is pretty fun. It'd be nice if you could hold down click to automatically use your weapon instead of clicking so much, but otherwise it was great (the portal transition effect is really cool too!)

Here's how I did:

Portal (tower) defense is quite standard so I quit pretty fast. But realization is great, lacking intense music maybe, but overall cool. Good luck to you!

It is good. The graphics are original which is great. It become quickly repetitive. The level with the swords is quite easy compared to the others we can pretty much stay on the portal and spam the attack.

So, I like a variety of locations. The visuals are also kinda charming. But the gameplay is a bit on the dull side. I think what hurts it the most is that you can just stand in the portal itself and whack enemies one by one as they are approaching. I don't think they should have a bit more health across the board, so you actually do have a reason to run around and actively engage them. I understand why you have one enemy type per stage, but a greater variety should also help with that

And the combat could use a bit more feedback (and sound effects). It's just not as satisfying as some other entries this jam

Same sort of feedback as above from me. I was pleasantly surprised by all the different portal locations and that motivated me to stay alive longer to see what else was next. The problem for me was the lack of feedback with the combat - could've done with some screenshake, particle effects or sound effects. Nice work though overall.

So many portal locations, theres some decent enemy and character art variety, maybe the backgrounds could use some work. Good job !

digitaldude555 2021-10-21 11:58

A lot of variety in the art here and I like the sound effects, game was alright but feel it was a bit easy I got bored before I lost lives.

fabula-rasa 2021-10-21 12:01

Cool interpretation of the theme! The changing locations are very nice - the different enemies, heroes, environment.

Some more sound effects and feedback on damage would be great. The gameplay gets repetitive once you realize you can just basically stand on the portal ;)
