Okay - it looks super cool but for reasons I don't entirely understand it's running terribly in my browser. Any chance of a Windows build? I'd like to give it a proper go.

Nice game! I really liked the way you used the unstable mechanic.
@darthboseiju just added windows build on the itch.io page (sadly I cant seem to get a link direct to it). Thanks for asking!
Thanks for an amazing Game! Nice diverse Puzzles and I really enjoyed the Boss Stage!
I seemed to be unable to progress past stage 2 due to what felt like a bug. If my power, for any of the 4 power types, was above 50%, then every action increased the power and there was no action that lowered my power. If I got hit by an enemy projectile, my power % went up. If i clicked to shoot, my % went up, there's nothing I could do to beat Stage 2.
@leon75 if you're at exactly 50%, any hit would make it go down. So you can keep yourself lower than 50% the entire phase. You can also go offensive with FIRE, burning trees to lower your power :)
This game is very good and i liked the gameplay. Thanks for this game!
@greenphox thanks for the kind words and for checking the game!
@nailah did you manage to beat the boss? That's NEAT! Thanks a lot for checking it out!
@woodstock thanks for checking out, it means a lot to me!
The mechanic is a bit weird. I guess the idea is that you want to get hit initially to make the percentage go down, and start shooting while keeping the percentage below 50%.
I would prefer it if its more predictable (but I guess that's the theme?)
The tutorial is also not "failsafe" as if you become unstable you cannot complete the tutorial.
Very nice artwork though and congrats on getting so many diverse mechanics in the game!
Great game with a awesome concept that keeps you engaged and on your toes! A good mix of management, dodge and planning skills! The graphics are cute and I love the main character!
@fiote Yeah it was a really nice Challenge and the Level took some tries. Especially when i saw the Skull-Gates on top of the Mountain, where i thought i had to kill all mobs in the Level. Good Thing, that you only have to kill all mobs on the Mountain ^^. For the Boss, if you come from the top right or top left most of the shots from the Boss go into the wall :)
Concept ok needs a little work on mechanica and can be awsome! Good job in This short time.
@randomphantom there are two main "strategies":
- stay above 50% so enemies increase your power. then use the power to cast skills. - stay below 50% so enemies lower your power. then shoot them just enough to not go critically low.
- On stage2, I imagined people would go offensive attacking everyone and burning trees to waste power away. But they can also stay belo 50% to slowly but steadily kill all monsters.
- On stage3, I imagined people would need to attack first, go to 52% as ice, then just let mushrooms attack. That increases the power so you can cross the river.
- On stage4 you're also required to use monsters to power you up, so you can gather enough ice energy to cross the river.
- Stage5 is chaos and can do whatever you like, and so on.
Basically, if you need to kill a lot of monsters, stay below 50% is safer, because you don't know if you'll have places to cast skills. If you need to traverse the map, it may be required to go almost to 100%, so you have enough "charges" of skills to get where you want.
On the boss stage I tried to throw everything on it so you would need to use both strategies to get it done.
On the tutorial, yeah, I tried doing SOME fail-safing but I ended up giving that up. Failing is 'good' so people can understand the mechanics better until they get it right, haha!
@strictpeak nice! glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for playing!
@senso do you mind telling me a bit on how to improve it? would love to hear what's on your mind (no sarcasm!) Thanks for playing!
Inspired by a link to the past, huh? ;-) The water tile on the lower preview pic is wrong. But I like it in total.
Had fun figuring out a viable strategy, also liked the simple but nice art.
Nice game felt like i could have done with just a short little list of key commands compared to being forced to read the text was a bit small for me.
@chillertyp I have never played link to the past, but the idea came from the artist, so maybe he got the inspiration from it? Hahah, gotta find out later!
About the lower pick, the artist did not had the time to make all "borders" as they needed to be, so some places got it like that. It's ugly I know :(
Glad you liked it overall! Thanks for playing!
Nice game overall. It's a bit hard to manage all 4 character but remain fun. great pixel art. Music would be nice be it's not my strong point, so i get that there is none :)
Thanks for the save system. Good job!
@alex-one , glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!
@kingofnova that's a nice suggestion! surely would help haha!
@pepnou yeah my games always lack music. I don't have composer friends interested in joining jams :\
The art and gameplay are quite complete and comfortable. I hope to see a more complete version of it. also want to have a slightly easymode (for example won't become unstable). When switching elements I feel like playing MMO. Great work.
@suisou I did plan some sort of easy mode, but sadly there was no time. The difficulty was not well paced (from tutorial to that stage2 is quite the jump lol). I'm not sure I'll continue working on the game, but who knows, people seems to have liked it!
This is actually pretty fun once you get used to the mechanics. Letting yourself get hit enough so you can get back up and shoot back. Really appreciate the nice pixel art graphics and good job tutorializing the first part.
Played the game and it was a cool idea. It took a while to get used to the mechanics.
I think the bigest improvement would be the hud. As there are 4 bars to keep track of, it's detracting a bit from the action. Some visual feedback when you are unstable / overloaded with different visual cues (e.g. hud is blinking, or some effect around it, or like the blood vignettes in egoshoopters once you took damage if you are in unstable/overloaded state) and sound cues maybe would help the action, as you sometimes don't know exactly when you change your state and you just need to look too closely at the numbers.
Aside from that it's been great fun.
Super cool entry. The mechanics were new and refreshing, the art was stellar, and the gameplay was simple and fun. Could have used some sound design, but great work!
The mechanic was really creative and fun to play with. I did feel a bit frustrated at times that I was locked into death and had nothing I could do about it. Stuck on a middle level with not enough rock power to slide down or air to slide up, dead. I think if there was an additional way to re-stabilize, it could help. Perhaps standing still for a time lets you balance back out to 50?
Still had fun with the levels that I was able to pass, good job!
Hi there! Thanks for submitting your game for me to play live during my Twitch stream!

I really like the way the four elements work :D
pretty fun! I like how you tied the theme into the game mechanics in a really integral way.
(why is this tagged on itch as a puzzle game? "Shooter" or "Action" would be more appropriate)
