Nice entry! It was kind hard to understand how close the resources should be to the houses, but overall it was fun. Could easily be expanded to include more things i guess! As a tip, would be nice if you tune down the amount of money that we get each round. I was rolling on money after a few turns haha
Very nice game. It took me some time to understand how it works, it could be better explained, but I really liked the idea. Graphics and music are simple but lovely :)

Really cool idea for a game! I've never seen a "city" building game where the player provides/builds the resources and the population builds the city. As a critique though, the game felt either too easy or too long winded. I think a smaller map would force the player to make decisions of greater weight (should I build X this valuable piece of land to keep this city alive or build Y to keep this one alive?). Awesome game!

Very nice entry you've got here. I loved seeing how the people dynamically grew and expanded, and it was great to see how they were leading themselves into an inevitable resource shortage.
I've never seen anything like this before either, feels like a very novel concept, and I really like it too. Very interesting simulation, for sure.
The sound and graphics are both pretty good. The pieces have just the right amount of detail for their size and the cartoony aesthetic, and I love the little tile-raising effect when I hover my mouse over them. The sound just adds to the atmosphere, making it all seem very cute, bubbly and cozy. It all just fits well.
Might not be much in the gameplay sense, but it honestly doesn't need to. Most of the action of the game comes from seeing the town grown, and just mashing the spacebar to see it happen on speed is satisfying enough to kind of overshadow the lack of things to do.
So in the end, it ends up being thoroughly enjoyable experience. Good job on your entry!
Very cool entry. Although i was a little bit confused about the game mechanics first, it opend up intuitively. Although it is a simple game idea, the message is very impressive: A 100% match for the theme!
Congratulations - well done.
Very neat use of the theme, and enjoyable gameplay. Well done. :)
Indeed a nice use of theme and kind of simulator I enjoy. The graphics and music really fit the theme, sounds are a bit too strong, but they also fit there.
I'm missing a bit more in-depth gameplay (mid/late for the game, upgrades and possibly some automation (to refresh well if necessary, etc.). Although yes, it is a jam game, not a retail. I'd like to see something like that in a bit more complex game, could be interesting.
Thanks for making the game and congratulations.

A very great little LD game.
Nice game concept you have here. I like the fact that you do not have to build he houses yourself, although this does provide problems in the later stages of the game when you start running out of space. The graphics and music are decent. It is fun to build up the village and amass money (I am poor in RL D:)!
I noticed that the fields disappear sometimes, but the wells do not. This creates difficult situations when you need to place other objects where the wells are. You can also place a bunch of wells everywhere and not be able to build anything (Although I don't think the player would do this.) Also I'm not sure how far the wells or fields reach, is it the whole village or a certain area? Would be good to let the player know.
This is a good jam game though! Good work!
I love how this is played on a table, nice unique take in my opinion, and a nice game!

Really nice. Games like these need a looot of balancing. So this is a really good entry. Art and music are very fitting too, so thanks for the entry.

Rolling on the dollar after a few turns, graphic feedback of the square being lit and all is good. Maybe with more work this could be a very good game, cheers on your next proyects :D
I really love the table top thing you've gone for here... It's really fitting with the theme
It's cute, but there's really confusing bits. I had a house flanked by two wells complaining it was out of water. The game also kept on building stuff over things I already placed? Or is it that wells run out of water? That's not really how wells work.
