Hmm, can I dig too or only mark the places so they can dig? They're pretty slow haha
EDIT: ohh... guess the trick is to not create any go-up door lol
It was not really working for me, but the idea seems very interesting.
@ace17 : Can you try with Google Chrome ? I tried with Firefox 53.
@fiote : You cannot dig yourself. I used for the tunnels the TileMap node of GodotEngine, After performance profiling, it's seems the slow framerate is due to the rendering of this TileMap. I cannot optimize more than I have already done.
Yes @fiote, you have right, i could not finish this part. I wanted people that don't go outside, get crazy, die or something like that. Didn't have time.
@gris : What doesn't work?
This might be really fun if there were a bit more to it. I think the music is great!
Great idea! To me it was just very difficult to see which citytiles connect to which undergroundtile (maybe having the cursor and doors also visible above ground would help?).
Could use a quick key to see the city view and maybe have it transparent so I can see how it aligns with the underground. Definitely didn't need to let them out of the new underground city. Interesting concept - would like to see this more fleshed out.
Very cool and unique little game you have made. Like the calm background music. Keep up the good work! Bonus points for godot engine!
Nice Godot game !
The concept is innovative.
nice idea of switching between underground and city but I found that toggle a bit frustrating getting where the track was on the underground... maybe with more transparency between the toggles idk. anyway good job!
I like the concept and it fits the theme well. It would've been nice to have the city view on a key too, and I guess a bit of transparency to check alignment wouldn't hurt either.
Quite interesting game idea! It may be more convenient to allow movement only between grid cells, so there is less false positives for digging. Sound is nice too!
