I really like the art and audio going on in the game. Keeping track of the hamster's health is a great way to use the theme. The animations of it eating and running were excellent. One thing which I feel could be improved is the diverting energy mechanic. In the end the player is just keeping bars from getting too high, which I didn't end up finding that engaging. From a theme perspective I loved it, how you have to keep all of those plates spinning, but I feel like there could have been a bit of a better way to do that.
That explosion effect was startling! My main piece of feedback is to make the lightswitch a little more obvious. It took me a little while to find it! I also think the upgrades might be too expensive. I wasn't able to purchase any of them in two plays of the game. I thought the art style was really charming, and fluffy was an electric protagonist!

i like the audio and the gameplay good job
Hey, I beat it! I guess. Still said Game Over, but Fluffy rocketed out of there. Not bad. Graphics were great, gameplay was solid. I did have a bug where I couldn't push anything after playing once and restarting. I just closed and reopened the game.
Super cute! All the details are great, the electrical zap is an awesome way to communicate which thing you're powering. And the core loop is solid, kept me playing for ages! Loved the fat hamster music too :D
Visuals are fantastic. Resource management starts out fun, and can get frantic. After my first couple of upgrades though, there wasn't much threat anymore, it just became a game of patience. I know in some games such as tower defense, where there is resource management, the intensity and frequency of obstacles increases, ramping up difficulty on a curve the player has to match with skill and upgrades. Perhaps that could help extend the tension as players upgrade and become more efficient. Criticisms and suggestions aside, I really enjoyed your game.
Great game. Beautiful art and music. I found a reproducible bug though. When an alert occurs twice in a row, it doesn't trigger. If I were to guess, you have a boolean for each disaster, and when the alert triggers, you set 'disaster = !disaster'. When the a disaster triggers before it's over, it just stops instead.
In terms of gameplay, it gets a little bit boring once you get some of the upgrades. Game should have become harder and you should produce money faster when you're later in the game. Maybe have a money multiplier upgrade.
Art-wise there aren't really any complaints. Would be nice if the disasters would actually be visible through the window, but I'm impressed how much you managed to do in one weekend.
Oh, by the way, Pixel Bukkake is probably the most awesome name for a game company ever made.

Great graphics and polish overall! I couldn't hear any music though, only some sound effects, even though other comments indicate that there should be some. So I abstained from voting in the audio category.
Wow, beautiful art and graphics! And even an animated cartoon character? Haven't seen that kind of craziness in any jam game yet, kudos! What threw me off a bit was that the warning for a fire made the triangle gauge go up and not the fire icon. But sadly, I don't think I understood the game, at least not how to actually make money, but chances are that I am a very stupid player. The overall sound could have been a little louder, though I guess you were saving the dynamic range for the explosion that inevitably ensued my poor performance. ;) Great job!
The art and animation are very good! This is a unique idea for a game and it goes along with the theme well. The eating sound does start to play as soon as you boot up the game for some reason. I think if you maybe added multiple hamsters and a drag and drop shop which you can access from the main screen things could have been more hectic. It also would have been cool to see the town start to burn as the bar gets too high. Really nice concept overall though; it was executed quite well!

Your team name is awesome! XD Nice game, I liked the gameplay and also the graphic is really awesome. Basically to make money you just need to connect a TV, uh? XD Fluffy is loveable.

The sound of fluffy eating over the company logo is just plan wrong :O
Just a really adorable game all around! The animations are great fun to look at, and really tie the game together. The little touches, such as the clothing changing, were also a nice touch, I got a chuckle out of the last bait! The music switching when you overfeed fluffy was another good addition, and the regular music really keeps the pace up! The game-play is simple, but works, and kept me interested until I finished.
My only real gripe is the menus. It's kind of awkward to constantly bring down the menu, and switch it between food and upgrades. It wouldn't be so bad, but every time you click away to respond to an emergency, it goes away, which really sucks in tight situations, where I needed to multitask between buying food and switching power.
Overall, a solid entry!
A beautiful and well made game. I came across a bug where I couldn’t press anything after playing once and then relaunching. Restarting fixed it.
In case you want to laugh at my utter confusion, here's my play of your game (among others): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DmR4rQzW7o :)
@philstrahl haha thank you, i love it! its so nice to see your game being played and gives a nice perspective! Don't worry, explaining the player what to do has already been a big problem for us on our last jam^^ I guess we really need to work on that.
Hi! Your game is really good, and while feeding that hamster I found several points to talk about! First for my laptop the game was quite laggy, it took some time to launch while listening to that eating noise and it was still lagging when I was switching buttons.
However, having to look at seven gauges plus earning money and buying food is not an easy thing for you to equilibrate. But you made it! Somehow...too much ? After 15-20 minutes playing there wasn't any challenge anymore and I decided to keep the money and let the city explode haha. For example, whatever action you do has positive effect, even when doing nothing, which slows down the pressure.
I also noticed that when an alarm was sounding, it was more efficient to wait for it to stop before clicking on the button, maybe a bug?
But overall an amazing game with good graphics and music!!! (and a good team name too :D)

This was such a good game. I loved the animation, fluffy's untimely death, and especially the developer logo ;) I can't say I felt bad for fluffy in the end though, he had gained so much weight that the town's people finally raiding the power station to feed him to their starving children seemed more like a kindness than anything else.

Absolutely stunning art, gameplay was solid too. Expected something a little more risque from a team called Pixelbukkake, but I'm not complaining. Great entry all round :)
This is possibly the most complete game I've seen so far. The graphics are absolutely stunning, and everything works really nicely. Having to choose where the prioritise channeling the energy made it challenging and fun.

Very unusual game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiayEbHjWUc
