Whoever did the physics and NPC car path finding and movement needs a raise. Whoever decided to have realistic truck turning circles, acceleration and speeds, needs to be taken behind a shed.

That would be me, both times lol. I'm new to 3D physics, and vehicles were a little too advanced for me so I used an assetstore script to get a leg up after wasting like 5 hours on struggling with my own. I wish I had time to make the truck more responsive to drive, but I'm not even sure what half the physics terminology stands for. Thanks for checking out our game!

Had fun playing this! the truck resetting after 10 seconds was a little long, maybe make it a little shorter. Otherwise I enjoyed the art and music. Driving felt pretty good to handle, just would adjust the acceleration settings to maybe make it feel a little more arcadey. Great job!

Had more fun with the tilting mechanics than expected, I think they should be standard in every driving game from now on. Driving felt a little difficult but I guess that's to be expected considering you are in a truck. Was a little dissapointed that you couldn't get out and collect trash manually like in the screenshots. Played for a while but had to stop when a passing car catapulted me out of the game map, which is something I'm sure a lot of binner ladies have to go through in real life.

Interesting game! I feel like the truck is very slow, i understand why but still i think it could increase the speed of the vehicle to make travel easier "cause the cars lol", still very cool game :v: PD: Kudos for the dancing cars!!

Love the 3D physics and music. A little bit faster truck would be nice

mpk90 2022-04-05 20:06

I really like the simple and clean art style. I liked the truck, I could feel its weight even though I was playing with the keyboard! Nice Gameplay ;)

zimny11 2022-04-05 21:49

I love the physics in this game! Especially rocket-trees. If you hit the tree in a right angle and speed, it flies into orbit XD Awesome game. I love it!

zimny11 2022-04-05 21:49

Sorry, double post.

I mean driving the truck was pretty annoying, but it fits and feels realistic. The graphics are great and I like the music. Also had fun kicking trees around and loading the bins.

yeti-kid 2022-04-06 19:38

I love the physics in this! You would see cars all over the place and saw one driving on it's roof loved the wackiness! Would of like a quicker truck! Other than that great job!

I really like the simple and clean art style.

Neat concept with good execution! I think the drivers are taking lessons from Cyberpunk 2077---the first one I see as I exit the lot is grinding along the curb upside down, and then I find a vibrating pileup at an intersection XD. I mean that in a good way, it really adds to the charm and humor! It feels like a very complete concept overall, with lots of attention to bringing together a cohesive whole. It was a bit hard to get the truck to do what I wanted at times, and the scale/pacing of the game seems like it would take a while to really play through, but overall it was a fun experience and I enjoyed checking it out.

mrevilguy 2022-04-08 02:25

Omg that was hilarious. I love the madness of the cars hopping on each other, like a car circus. Garbage flying everywhere, just amazing.

szkocka 2022-04-08 20:20

That was crazy experience, I love how cars really don`t care if you are in the way, or about the fact that they are upside down. Huge goat simulator vibes here.

potatolain 2022-04-09 04:38

Agreed with the person above, who hurt all of the drivers in that town!? I think I had more fun with the car physics than I did actually trying to complete my goals. The tilt mechanic was maybe overpowered for the gamestyle, but very fun! Thanks for an interesting entry.

deighta 2022-04-10 03:14

great music and idea!. struggled with the controls, honestly and the physics caused cars and the truck to randomly flip.

daniel-username 2022-04-10 04:17

lol funny game. Might be a bit better to improve the handling of the vehicle. The tilt controls are super aggressive (which is funny and fun) but the normal steering just feels quite sluggish.

honest-dan 2022-04-10 08:29

I've always wondered how it'd be to be a Binner Lady, and now I don't have to. I think the vehicle controls were great, the vehicle felt rightly sluggish and having to reverse to achieve the goals made sense. I liked the little lift and put down animation too :) I think some extra gamification would have benefited the game, to make it feel either like there is a risk of losing or that the gameplay evolved as time went on.

teammonumental 2022-04-11 14:40

Great music! I love the funny interactions that occur with the AI and their pathfinding. The lorry felt a little slow, but once I got moving I was able to run over everything in my way lol.

deniskazantsev 2022-04-12 18:31

Liked the music and game physics, it's mostly fun to drive.

suchista 2022-04-13 10:52

Nice entry! I liked the driving, although I felt it was a little too slow. At first it wasn't obvious to me how anything works, but then I unloaded some bins and it felt good.

lcstark 2022-04-13 14:28

A fun little game! The physics of the truck (and other cars) is sometimes a little bit too wonky, though I think balancing that properly is a bit too time consuming for the jam timeframe. I'd love to see it improved after the jam voting is done. ;)

This feels like it could be a really fun physics based game. I'd work on reducing the amount of wasted time to give the player maximum gameplay fun - remove or drastically reduce the reset timer, give the truck better acceleration, etc. I'd also probably reduce the braking strength a bit. Right now it feels like the truck takes ages to get to decent speed, but then it stops almost immediately.

Oh, and I almost forgot - the music is banging! ;)
