Love how you've used the theme! Really great idea, and the visuals are lovely! The intro cutscene especially, but all of the sprites were charming and I enjoyed the colour scheme. The thing I found tricky was the platforming itself. I think about the most successful vertical platformers like Downwell or Spelunky, and how they're either zoomed out or have vertical aspect ratios so the player can plan their descent better!

The writing at the beginning was hilarious! I wish there had more of it throughout the game.

I spent a very long time trying to figure out why I needed Depth or Heat. Eventually I started to think that I needed to gather enough depth to complete the game, but just when I was getting tired of doing that, I found the bottom. So I guess gathering those was just for the score at the end? I also couldn't figure out whether the mushrooms were just there to annoy me, since you always wanted to go down, not up, and when you dropped down onto the mushrooms suddenly, it was very disorienting.

Nice platforming game. General platforming felt good. But when hitting enemies you get thrown around a lot. Sound & Music fit well. I could see this being a longer game with a few more mechanics introduced in later levels.

that was super cool, although at some point i thought i was going in circles - the level seems too long. Very fun though.

I didn't expect this kind of story for plate-former but it's really great haha Nice feeling on jump and falling even if there are some bug: sometimes when you fall on an enemy but you technically didn't jump you received damages. But for me the most confusing point is UI, I was not really sure what I was supposed to do but it didn't spoil my experience at all. I enjoyed my 10 minutes on this game, great job! :smiley:

Charming, great looking, but the level is too long, there is not enough visual cue for taking damage, platforming is clunky and not enjoyable, i think the camera is too close + does not fit the game. It gets old fast and i think gameplay is the most important thing in games. I give this game it 5/5 for visuals, audio, mood and humour though.

Loved it! The graphics were the best part. I did glitch through the wall at one point and had to restart. No biggie. Overall, on theme, fun to play, looked awesome and the music suited it perfectly. Great job!

Great audio and graphics. Movement seems responsive and not too floaty. I really wish that more of the level was visible at once. It is really interesting platformer but it can get a bit tedious. The intro was great though. I've catched one little bug: you can stick to the side of platforms. Overall it is neat game. Good job! :D

This was a funny game, and it controls pretty well! I had trouble seeing enemies at times, and it was hard jumping on the enemies with wings without taking damage. Nice work on the project!

Wow! The graphics are great, The music sounds great. I had some confusion what things were enemies and what were not. Also the ending, I dont know what did I do wrong, but the demon thing says "Wheres the rest of it?", I couldnt figure out why? (Or was it just a part of the design).

@pxldev that scene was cobbled together last second in a whirlwind. we assumed most folks wouldn't reach the end with a full pizza/full health. time allowing, we'd hoped to have more funny sayings and win scenarios

@rewzu we noticed that early on in playtesting so we bob rossed the walls and platforms with yellow cheese sticky edges... transforming the bug in a feature like a beautiful butterfly

Super fun, I liked the change where you don't want to jump on things to get higher, but rather want to get down. The art is fantastic :)
