Interesting aesthetics and functional gameplay, though I had a hard time determining which direction I would go in when I pushed up or down. I think the little mini-tutorial at the beginning was really clever!
Thank you @handle @adroitconceptions . I am still thinking of the best controls for a circumnavigating player.
Enjoyed the mechanics of it, it's a neat little game! I agree with Handle that the tutorial is really clever, good job with that. Audio makes the bazooka really satisfying  I personally don't like the blur in the background, it gives me a bit of a headache to look at
The mechanics fun, though it would be cool if the bullets would stay in orbit a little longer. I did figure out that you can jump indefinitely. I loved the art style. It was strange and pulled off very well. Gave the game some serious unique points. The firing effect might be a little much, though that might be y personal taste. I'm never a fan of when the character becomes difficult to see on screen even for only a second.
@dom-harris - Good point on the blur. It was either radial or gaussian blur. I went for radial instead. But will defo consider that. I was aiming for that bassy sound for the bazooka thx.
@krapht - Glad you mentioned the lifetime of the bullet - very beneficial feedback. If i shorten it, it makes the game a bit difficult, if i prolong it - i feel like everything gets lost in a sea of bullets. Thx.
Unique sort of patchwork / handcrafted aesthetic. I really liked the sound effects, they fit the game's bizarre setting very well.
As for the gameplay, I liked the different enemy types, especially the red one since it makes you stay focused on timing the jumps and shots just right. I still haven't managed to reach the third planet, but with some practice I can see myself managing it.
I had some trouble finding my character on screen after I died. I found the A / D keys to be more intuitive to move about, since the gravity takes a bit to get used to.
In general, it's an innovative and very unique entry.
I like how the game is responsive with the visual feedback of shaking and the sound when you fire. sounds not much but it make it juicy
Bloody hell, that bazooka packs a punch! Love the sound and screenshake, feels great. Projectile path feels good; and a good pace on the projectiles, too.
Would prefer if projectiles could damage the player as well as the enemies; would be nice if they lasted longer, too. Discovered that you can jump continuously without hitting the ground (presume that's a bug).
Also discovered fairly early on that there was no limit to rate of fire and **from that point on I never looked back**...

Good feel with the bazooka with the VFX and audio, it took me a while to realise the bunnies were you health. I liked the whole bullets fire round the planet, might have been nice to play with that mechanic more. Good entry.
@melmo I thought of capping the bullets - but then again, I would be missing out on moments that you captured like above LOL. I also knew about the jump thing. I thought to fix it. But later on when the difficulty ramps up - it'll be useful
@hi-im-greg - Thanks for your feedback. When you say "Playing with the mechanics more" you are refering to the bullets right?
Very interesting artstyle, I like it. Like someone else said the game is very "juicy" made it to act 3 but couldnt figure out how to kill the red running enemy, only bad thing I'll say is that the theme feels tacked onto the game. Over all its quite good. Good job.
I love the sounds (though the jump sound is a little weird). Not sure what the red things are... also, is that dino on earth act 3 supposed to be invulnerable?
Nice one ! I liked the different ennemies, and the difficulty curve is nice. Also the way lifes are indicated is very fun ! A bad point for me though, the sound of jumping was quite repetitive (especially with the red ennemies). Had fun playing it :)
Awesome art! It reminds me of those artworks made from everyday objects, can't remember what they're called. The gameplay is a bit slow for my taste, but landing a hit is very satisfying (and so is shooting in general). I like your take on the theme.
I love how you are replaced by another bunny when you die :D
Bullets have a nice speed to them: not too slow. I'd like to see an ammo count to manage how many bullets I can spam before needing an ammo drop. Also maybe adjust the pitch of the sound effects so they change by a random amount each time they're played, that will help with repetitiveness when pressing the jump and shoot buttons repeatedly.
awesome shake effect and a good mix of artstyles
You used the theme very well, really nice entry, good job
Liked it and played for a while. Maybe the screen shake was too much though and I think I found a bug. If you don't press the keys in the start in the correct order the game won't start even after pressing everything.
Good job!
Thank you all for the feedback. I've taken all your comments on board. :v:
First time I ran it, nothing was happening. Nothing was spawning. Refreshed and then I had things coming at me. Very unique idea. Good job.
Crazy game! So much screenshake!
@ben-lee @digitaldude555 - Yes the red dino is supposed to be invincible.
I had the same problem as above when I launched the first time - no enemies. One other nitpick is that you can jump when in the air (assuming this is a bug, that combined with no rate of fire limit leads to the levels being very cheese-able. I like what you went for in a game that just has no limits, but there are a lot of aspects (like the bunny health, etc) that are sort of unintuitive - a HUD could help with that. I like what I'm seeing here, enjoyed the art and direction you're taking it!
Wow that's a lot of rockets. Solid game pretty fun!
Overall a good job. I especially liked the camera shake. At times I felt a bit disconnected from the controls. Often going the wrong way. I enjoyed the different enemies but found it easy to spam the firing. Maybe a delay between fire to up the skill level. Good job mind you.
Intresting cocept!nice graphics i really enjoyed!keep it up Good Luck🍀
Great entry. Nice physics and screenshake, though the enemies wouldn't spawn in on my end the first two times I tried to play the game.
liked the textures on the environment but expected asome movement on the parts that seamed furry, loved the camera shakes tho !
@king-kujito : Thanks for the comments. When you say enemies spawn at your end - do you mean land on top of you?
@rainbow-rave : movement of the furry parts - do you mean the ones in the background?
I love bunnies.
This game made me dizzy from all the spinning and shooting and bouncing and shaking and smoke.
I loved it.
@mza I mean the enemies didn't spawn at all the first two time (neither did comets). The tutorial text was already gone though so I did finish the tutorial. Upon my third time loading the game I had no issues though.
@king-kujito : ahh yes. it is a bug. Im investigating it. Thank you
@mza jup, we talked on twitch about this :)
The best thing about this game is the presentation! Silly and "so-bad-it's-good" (its hard for me to describe), but it becomes something special with all the details and sounds, love the bazooka BOOM. The gameplay itself is solid for what it is, a nice logic for your extra lives and a rather good difficulty ramp-up. Extra props for the start tutorial!
The difficulty increases a bit slow, but later it progresses real fast, then its more challenging. Love the first tutorial, I might do (steal) something like that in other games I do. Otherwise a fun game, good job!
Hey nice game here, I like this little small planet gravity ;)
Really like the game especially the sound, really gets you going! The mood and graphics were also very good and the game play is fun but as Melmo said it's easy to find "hacks" where you never need to think and just jump and shoot continuously but even then it remains fun because of the music and the satisfying feel of the bazooka shots
The controls took some time to get used to when i was upside down, but once i got the hang of it i really started to enjoy the gameplay. The sounds are amazing, and i liked the screen shake.
the shooting effects with the loud noise and camera shake we're a bite headache inducing. i liked the concept though. not sure how i feel about the very mario-like bullets. the background art is amazing though, i wish all the art was in that style
This was drawn pretty nicely, a couple of things I would point out is that the difficulty progresses relatively slowly, and the music has a single bar with a completely different instrument which makes me think sound effect and that something is happening in the game when there isn't... I like the animations, all in all I would say to keep going with this or another game, the art is a great start, I think you could really find a niche with your style.
Hey there! This game was played on www.twitch.tv/arjendesign just now! Good job :D!
@kapiteinkoekwous - thank you. Really enjoyed watching you play and your insights into the game.
Thank you for sharing your game with me. I played it on my stream tonight at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames
I have rated your game, but all of my feedback was captured in the stream. It was in the middle.
You can hear my comments in the archive at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/299357576?t=05h27m15s
@saoi-games thank you so much for streaming.
Great game, but It needs some polishing
At the end of the day, it feels nice to be overpowered! The graphics and overall presentation is very unique and has a nice charm about it (though not exactly my cup of tea). I thought the tutorial at the beginning was a nice touch, especially for a game made in such a short time. My two main complaints are about the controls and the screen shake. The controls felt awkward and confusing when you were on the underside of the planet, and having to use Q to attack just felt weird to me. Personally, I would have kept the player at the top of the screen and have left and right rotate the planet beneath your feet like that boss from Yoshi's Island. Then you can jump with up and assign rockets to the space bar. Finally, I felt the screen shake was just WAY too strong especially with how frequently you use it.
@niterich thank you for your comprehensive comment. I agree with you. After the feedback from the community, I felt that the rotation of the planet would be more fitting that anything else. In the next couple of days, I plan to release update/s which should hopefully make the game more bearable.
It was fun! Really interesting controls and bullet physics. I think the bunny running around the planet is perfect. The on-screen elements could be better explained, as it was difficult to know what was going on.
I liked the sound effects and visuals, though I agree with the others that the screen shake is a bit too much. Good job!
I love the weirdness of the textile textures; I wish there were some of that in the characters, but I can see that scale makes that challenging. With all the originality going on, I appreciate that I could continue playing at the level I died at. I liked the snare drum and the death gasp, but I never figured out what the tinkle-tinkle-tink noise meant. I'm on board the Yay, Tutorial train. I found the recoil/camera shake way too much. The sound and the idea of shake are solid and satisfying, but the degree of shake made me slightly queasy. I really liked how unlike other games this way. Shine on, you crazy diamond!
Nice game!
Pros: - Cute art style and sound - Fun mechanics
Cons: - Camera shake and the radial blur was a bit too much for me (the blur in specific gave a motion feeling) - Felt like the level progressed slowly (ended my play in act #3 because it looked like it wasn't moving on)
Obs: Best strategy: stay in the air spamming bullet bills!
Cheers!
Really loved graphics and audio of this game. Looks really cute and stylish.
Character control on the bottom of the planet was really confusing for me. I think rotating the camera view with the character can help this problem, but maybe I'm wrong. Bullet spam was also a thing, so you should think about the ways of preventing it (besides meteorites and pink dinos).
But besides those problems, that was a nicely made game. Well done.
Nice entry! But two things disappointed me is a camera shaking and controls. From other sides game looks good)
Funny game here. Cute graphics. screenshake is a bit too much but you already knew that fixed it in a post version.
I think it would be cool if the meteors could be destroyed some how. Perhaps shooting +-50 rockets in them or 'craft' em into new rockets or something
Good job on this !
As other people have said before the camera is a bit problematic, but on the other hand I really enjoyed the game! Nice graphics and sounds haha
These bunnies jump a lot, I missed the opportunity to destroy the meteorites with the bazooka, I like this gravitational effect on the game.
@agar3s @roidz - you cannot destroy the meteors. However, in the next update, I made sure that you can
Cool graphics and nice gameplay. Didn't like the sounds much and I think the screenshake could be reduced. Nice entry otherwise!
The Ludum Dare build of this game is super-duper rough. From the excessive screenshakes, to infinite bullets and jumps, there's just a lot that feels like it needs more time and polish. To me, though, the most annoying thing was how the action-based nature of the game combines poorly with controls that's easy to mistake from left to right. I confess I wasn't a hug fan of the jump physics, either.
Really nice entry! I like how you improved game a lot in the post jam version! Keep up the good work!
This game is crazy :D A few people saying they didnt like the screenshake, I did like it, but think it would be better if it was reduced slightly.
Cute planet, cute hero, even bullets are cute :) Great game! 5/5
I really enjoyed this little scoring game! The cartoon atmosphere is very immersive and the sound effects are cool! I think more visual feedback would make this game even better! Great job! :)
By the way please feel free to leave us some feedbacks on our game!
@zinski thank you for your kind feedback.
When you say visual feedback, can you give me an example?
Also, did you update your game?
Really enjoyed the unique aesthetic! Thanks for sharing the game with my stream awhile back. Your game starts at around 4:18 into the vod https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297479036
@mza Hey! By visual feedback I mean some VFX to indicate to the player informations about the interactions and actions that take place in the game. For example during the spawn of the enemies, the interactions with the rabbits on the planet, points when you destroy a enemy or a meteorite... This kind of feedbacks makes a game more alive and understandable ;)
Regarding our game, we're reviewing a lot of details before publishing an improved version! Thanks for asking! :D
I liked how dynamic this game is. Nice graphics, interesting gameplay. Good entry!
just played the game onm stream. thanks for submitting
I liked the Graphics, and the Gameplay was fun, Nice Game.
Overall gameplay is nice, I think bullets should destroy each other when they collide, shooting is enjoyable I wish I could not worry about getting killed by my own bullet.
@josehzz thanks for the feedback. I toyed with the idea of being invulnerable to your own bullets for a long time.
With a little bit of playtesting, I found out that people really enjoy the feedback given when shooting bullets. And they start spamming like crazy :-). Which is ok.
Therefore, making the bullets self damaging forces you to plan ahead on how to use the bullets. You can still spam but at the right time.
cool!
Interesting graphics! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 42 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/7ueEev7q6Kg
