Took me awhile to find out that I was supposed to use the right arrow, but after that it was a great experience!
purr-fect
Nice little asteroids-like game, really like the controls
Reminds me a bit of Dr.Mario on the NES. Solid game, rather challenging.
Fit's the theme great, and has unique puzzle elements. I think spamming the keys to move is a bit clunky but I really can't complain as super similar movement to my game lol. Solid game with peaceful music
Hey thanks for streaming my game! as for this, The 3d modelling is especially good, and I like the aesthetic
Can't think of much to criticize this for. It's simple and it works, but maybe some good music would be beneficial.
Huzzah! Although it's a bit generic it's a solid game and an impressive feat for 22 hours. The texture for the main protagonist also looks really good.
Unique artstyle, and the gameplay is okay. Fit's the theme well, overall it's a solid game
The controls feel super fluid, and the gameplay is really fun. Fit the theme very well.
What lol
solid game, but I would recommend making the shadows directly under the Boxes, that way you could predict them a bit easier. Not sure how that would affect the aesthetic though.
Hey you left a really helpful comment on my game so I wanted to return the favor, but it doesn't seem to load. Is it my browser? I'm using Firefox.
@grahhhhhhhhh Thanks, that's probably the reason. I'll update it and try again
What? this is probably the weirdest puzzle game i've ever played. Still a solid logic game? Haha funny game though.
This is really cool, reminds me of WALL-E for some reason. One thing I would suggest is tone down the sensitivity a bit and change the FOV, If that's possible, practical and or easy to do
WOW I can't believe this hasn't been done before this is absolutely amazing
I played this against my brother and we had a lot of fun. Quality game this has a lot of potential.
Fun game, reminds me a lot of DigDug 2. The first level almost seems way harder than the others though
Wow that's a lot of rockets. Solid game pretty fun!
Best game I've played of LD42 hands down. The first time I played I really just explored until I died, and then I actually beat it lol. Something I might suggest is front and back sprites for the main character, although what you did is already phenomenal.
Took awhile to figure out how the weapons worked but after that it was a pretty cool game
Took me a bit to figure out but it's very enjoyable once I did. Amazing graphics too (I played the Jam build)
WOW incredible game, it's amazing how polished it is. What engine did you use?
Great game, reminds me a bit of Space Engineers. I found a floating car near the bottom, is that an easter egg?
@poio ohhh that’s hilarious!
Very atmospheric, which is difficult to convey in a text adventure. Solid game, I love the inventory mechanics.
Lol the noises are great. Solid game!
Holy cow that's amazing mood. The sound and the floating text really pulls it off
Oh yeah first place! Lol I played this 4 times just to get that. Solid game, very fun although when I first played I thought I was supposed to dodge the red shapes, haha.
Wow this is a very creative idea, I don't think i've seen anything with this same idea at least not in this competition. Very fun and challenging.
Decent game! there's more level design than meets the eye at first glance, especially on the last level. I really like how the boxes you need spawn on the other side of the map, forcing you to do a kind of switcheroo from one conveyor belt to the next. Not sure if that was intended or not, but either way excellent game design.
Reminds me of "The Raft". Great artwork, and I love how you don't really even get off shore that far lol.
ohhhh running out of space! also I'm not sure why but I've always loved 3d object's rendered at low resolution like this. Great looking game and interesting concept! Great aesthetic and I beat it 3 times just because.
Too short! lol very fun game I love the button mechanics.
I feel like this one really used the full potential of the theme very well, designing the game around the theme rather than adding the theme to the game. Embraces it perfectly
hilarious concept, I love it!
Just imagine if you had to delete apps like this normally lol. Better than bloatware at least ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
*plays this in firefox*
Ahh this takes me back to middle school typist classes. Lol nice windows death sound by the way
@micahtron Yes if you stay at the topmost rock and live until the timer reaches 0 a helicopter will rescue you, and also thanks so much for playing my game!
@grahhhhhhhhh a helicopter actually comes to rescue you if you manage to survive on the three tiles, after around 30 seconds. Thanks for the feedback and playing my game! I appreciate it
@DrEvilBrain Thank you! Yeah I'll consider that when I remake this, I plan on fixing bugs and just generally improving on it once the Jam is over.
@nenekiri Thanks!
@alchemic Yes I agree, I'll probably add that in after the Jam
@jose-rodriguez Well the water kills you, but sure as long as you're having fun buddy :D
@bobgar Thanks! It's *supposed* to be a laser gun or something but at this point it's basically laser eyes haha
@nandelind Yeah I had to do that because of sticky keys, but I'll try to find away around that when I patch it after the Jam. Glad you liked the title!
@chocolat-endive Thanks! I'll probably make the crabs respawn at random nodes when I patch it later
@mgoadric Yeah, that's my strategy too but I'm going to try and make it harder after the Jam. Probably by changing the crab AI. Each crab only takes one hit, so that was probably a bug. Sorry! And thanks!
@Naked-Kiwi no you're quite weird
@rkhadder Yeah the crabs are supposed to run away from the helicopter, but right now only one crab does that. I was trying to get the other one to as well, but the deadline was approaching fast and I unfortunately cut a few corners. Sorry, and thanks for playing!
@kubenexion Thanks! And yes definitely going to improve the crabs
@annie-owl Yes I agree and probably will do that when I patch it after the Jam. Thanks for the advice!
@sixbeeps Thanks! Yeah I've always preferred not using engines or making my own engines :D
@jesus-gonzalez Thanks so much!
@jlv Thanks! I totally agree and will be improving it after the Jam
@jared-york Agreed! A crab at the top right corner is a really good idea, I've noticed that most people do use the camping strategy and another crab might encourage more movement. I totally agree with the vanilla JS thing, my friends call me stubborn for not using engines but I don't care lol
@garris First of all, thanks! I put most of my time into the engine so it’s so nice to hear people acknowledge it. yeah unfortunately I had to build the hit box detection system thing pretty poorly due to just running out of time(pun not intended) , you have to actually hit the crabs directly for it to register, and even then it doesn’t work every time. I was originally going to add sharks too, but again the time limit got me. I’m still planning on adding all the stuff I originally intended and just improving it in general after the Jam. Thanks again for playing my game this is making my week lol
That's an innovative way of using the theme but I like it, Lol the endings I got were the death by sword thing, the skipped the adventure, and the heart one. If you were to improve it I would suggest adding maybe some visuals like your character and what's happening in the text, but then again that's not really necessary for a text adventure.
