Ha! I love the execution, with the way you start on the title screen, to the feel of the switches, to the ever-changing map. I liked the mechanic of R G and B switches a lot. I did find it hard to land some jumps when the pixels were changing colors and hard to spot, but perhaps that is exactly the point? Also, would've been nice to start with directions/a list of controls, maybe I missed those somewhere.

Nice game, but simple, I liked the idea with switches, but next time add to player or walls 2d Physics Material 2D and set friction to 0 because now I stick up on walls.
I liked the overall concept and especially the pixel aesthetics. I didn't realize at first that the platforms faded into the background as time went on, and I thought that was a nice touch. Good job making each puzzle seem distinct using only a few game mechanics.
Cool concept graphics and music. There is a level where you drop down a kind of shoot and when you get stuck you have to wait for your energy to drain in order to restart. I would change that as I got bored and stopped playing, but the mechanics and game in general are very fun.
@ian-laffey Thanks man! Yeah, I designed that level right before the 6pm deadline, so I wasn't able to really test it that much. That was the last level anyways. It will definitely get fixed (I don't think I'm allowed to change it during the voting period though...)
EDIT: There was a bug with the data corruption not moving (code error), but I did a quick bug fix and it's good now.
@biebras Thanks! We wrote the game in Phaser 3 (which still has a lack of documentation) not Unity so we were trying to figure out how to remove the stickiness for the longest time. Hopefully I can figure it out if I make another platformer with Phaser.
I enjoyed it! although I got frustrated with the vertical level, but otherwise its a solid puzzle, and the dimming of lights was a nice touch. Would be nicer to have a retry button because in that level i was stuck just waiting for my doom hah
@calixjumio You can blame me, I made that level haha. If I decide to expand the game more, I will definitely add more puzzle levels. There are some blocks which have gone un-used which I really want to use (mostly because I stayed up until like 7am making the un-used blocks) Thank you for your feedback though, and I will add a retry button in the post-jam version.

This game is very cool. The main mechanic is really creative and i enjoyed all the ways it was used to challenge me as a player. The compression was also a pretty cool way of fitting the theme. I like the game a lot. My only comments are that some of the levels take a bit of trial and error to solve, also, the "season 2 coming soon" screen still kills the player.
Thank you @bilzc10 , I really appreciate it! Yeah, my friend Ben made that "season 2 coming soon" level, I'll definitely let him know haha. We were running out of time and he thought it would be funny to have the end screen be a level where you're covered in data corruption getting shot by like 20 turrets. I'm glad you like it overall though! :)
I have to say, this is probably my favorite game I've played so far. Seriously good work. I was having actual fun playing this and I would love playing a full version
This is a cool idea but I wish there were more levels. also, the controls felt a little unresponsive and the bouncing seemed unintuitive.

There are 2 things that i liked in your game: The colors switch and the effect on the floor. I thought that sometimes it will disappear or it will turn into something else. After a while, and i knew that nothing would happen, I still had this feeling, and for me this is awesome!
Cool, the color based puzzle were a good idea, I wished the game was longer though, other than this, good work ^^
@darkmonkey-inc Thank you! A full version may be coming within a few months. :) I was really surprised how well it turned out being this was our first jam.
@certainly-canyon Thanks! I'm thinking about continuing development and adding more levels. I agree the bounce can definitely throw jumping off especially in tedious areas. The bounce will probably be removed in the full version.
@welliton Thank you Welliton! I'm thinking about turning it into a full length game with more levels and new cool stuff. :) I was trying to add in more enemies and levels, but I simply ran out of time. :| Stay tuned though for the full game. :)
@inferture Thank you! I was pleased how it turned out, so I'm really considering extending it into a full game! Stay tuned because it is probably going to be a thing. :)

I really like the game, even though I does not really fit the theme because I never had problems with the space. I completely played through it and I hope there will be more levels soon. The graphical fx are very nice and the controls are okay. Well done!

Nice game and concept! Only you could have improved the controls and art a bit. But for 48 hours this is very good! Good Job!!
While playing this game... I got completely invested and completely forgot it was a jam game X).
The button mecanics are quite simple but nicely executed and easily understandable.
I just think the battery depletion could have been faster, because it never felt like a genuine time constraint, more like a (huge) health bar. Same with the glitch wall. I saw it move in level 3, but once I started the two other levels, I never saw it again, which is a shame because the atmosphere was really nice. It felt really captivating with all the particle effects of the *corruption wall of death*, the level slowly fading out as your battery diminishes, and all the platforms blinking.
Plus I don't know if it was intended, but does the wall move at the pace of the musics ?
Much detail was put in this game, and it was fun discovering all those effects !
Thanks for that fun moment ^^

I really like this entry. It so well balanced that I've played 20 mins and for me it was as 1 min. Flow is awesome. But one thing I don't understand, you have cool mechanics in your platformer, great flow, balance etc. But theme used is just simple - unknown thing follows you... Mate I'm sure you have more creative ideas and you can implement them well;))) p.s. sorry for mistakes, hope you understand what I mean:)

I like the theme. It'S pretty cool and original. The music fit with pictures.
All the set looks great ! :)
That effect of the world being demolished was really cool. A simple idea but a very well executed platformer. Great job!

Fun platformer, thematically adequate and full of clever riddles !
Pros : - Clever energy and color-switching mechanics - Tight controls and clever riddles - Great link to the theme - Several audio tracks - Functional graphics for readable action
Cons : - (Subjective) Would work better with shorter levels, with one/two riddle at a time - A little difficult at times
All in all, great work !
Thank you for sharing your game with me. I played it on my stream tonight at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames
I have rated your game, but all of my feedback was captured in the stream.
You can hear my comments in the archive at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297889760
A simple game on the surface that quickly becomes more challenging. It is well put together and held my attention for a while. Good job
Really solid entry and I love the pixel graphics! :)
@rubixnoob13 Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it! I'm excited to continue development on it.
@arron-fowler Thanks! I'm surprised how well it did since it was my first jam.
@pixelformedstudios Thank you! It should be even better once the full game is done. If you want, you can follow my Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/Jared-York-Games-232567477457451 for updates and release news!
@quorusa Thanks for your kind words Quorusa!
@ljay I'm so glad you enjoy it Jay! The thing that follows you is supposed to represent data corruption since you are in a hard drive. I will do my best to make it fit in better. :) I am starting to work on expanding the jam version into a full game so stay tuned! If you want to follow along with the development and release news, feel free to like/follow my Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/Jared-York-Games-232567477457451
@superqgs Thank you for your feedback SuperQGS! I am starting to turn it into a full length game! Feel free to follow my Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/Jared-York-Games-232567477457451 for updates!
@lekkel124 Thank you for your feedback Lekkel, I really appreciate it! I will definitely take your thoughts on the battery to mind since I've going to continue development of RGBot into a full game! In regards to the wall fading with the music, it doesn't but we thought it looked cool at the time. I'm planning on using full tilesets in the full game. I'm glad you enjoyed the details and effects in the game! :) If you want to stay updated on the development and release news of the game, feel free to like and follow my Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/Jared-York-Games-232567477457451
@express-games I'm glad you like the game! May I ask what needs work/what would be better for the controls? I want to make sure I can flesh that out to create a better experience. I'm planning on turning the jam version into a full-length game. The full game will have full tilesets for each stage, and a lot of the art will be improved. If you wanted to follow along with the development and release news, feel free to like and follow my Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/Jared-York-Games-232567477457451
@edgelord Thank you for your feedback, edgelord! We were intending for our game to take place inside a hard drive, and the corruption wall behind your player would force you to move fast through the level. We didn't have any time to really fine tune and make the wall fast enough in each level. Good news is, I am planning on turning the jam version into a full-length game! Do you have any ideas of how I could improve the controls? I want to make sure the full game provides the best playing experience possible. If you want updates on the development and release, feel free to like and follow my Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/Jared-York-Games-232567477457451
@jlv Thank you for your feedback JLV! It's very helpful for me to know what works and what doesn't. I will definitely keep your thoughts in mind in regards to level length and difficulty. Thanks for playing!

Super nice game, really enjoyed it!:) Only thing was that it was a bit laggy at level 2, but it was still super fun to play! Great job!
@brallex Glad to hear you like it! May I ask what OS you’re using as well as what browser? Thanks!
