COIN MANIA by Ayushman 2017-12-05T04:02:08Z
Nice one Ayuhsman, I liked the puzzle platform idea, the necessity to think/explore before getting coins is interessting!

High: 30999. This game is a-a-a-a-awesome! Love everything on it. I'd to spend some time to get the wall climb and jump timings, and after that, man, 5 box combos are impressive. And when came the skull box was a surprise (just tought that the game would end when hits the red mark). Best game that i played for this LdJam by now. Update: High: 32050 and just ONCE i was able to smash box in 2 different rows at the same time. Tried to do this again but i couldn't. :)
@Gruhh, obrigado pelo feedback! :)
Ohhh i wanted to see the ranking! :) Sometimes (idk if is my PC) the player keeps moving even if i'm not pressing anything more :) And the giant bug spawned on me 2 times :) Good job!
Suddenly it seems like i was a child again playing some master system game :) I fell so happy playing this game! Thanks for this work guys!
Awesome concept with the blocks! I liked the visuals too, but I it was hard to move the player, it felt floaty sometimes. It was hard to just pass the first spikes, and than of course, lava.
Wow, 351 crystals collected! A good running game, i liked the concept and the visuals, but sometimes i was so focused on getting a 'higher look' of the stage to get prepared better, that i felt nauseated. Beside that, as good execution!
For me it was very hard to sell any good higher than 2x :/ Or i buy some expensive good, or live in poor with a lot of small ones. But i liked it. i was hoping for some window appears and "oh, thats an achievement" go for it o/ o/ o/
I liked the concept, but I cannot see the first floor of the building :/ I win the first stage putting all rooms horizontally :) I tried it on html5 and winx64
fs.PNG Nice idea. After I noticed that you gain points only if you are moving, i tried to do few movements to score, but after it has 3 balls in play its a snow ball to death :) Only thing that fell strange to me was the ball movement, it does not seem too fast responsive, its like the ball is always sliping. Good job!
I want to play these dices on real life hahah! Good game, hard to accomplish a good score. The kind of game that you learn that is definitely easier keeping you family along with you :)
I think my highscore was 1179, something like that. I was kill by a meteor 4 times. It would be nice if there was a sign telling where the meteor is going to fall, fast at least. Cool concept, i tought that i was a wick in the begining, and if a meteor would fall in somewhere that i passed, it was going to burn everything :)
Good game, and it has even an educational way. I felled pretty bad on how many times Poiskai died in a sadly way. :( Good job! And the artwork is lovely :)
Fun game. I liked your idea. I took me a while to understand that the anticorps kills bacterias with one shot. i noticed that they were getting dark, and i continued to shoot them :P Good job!
Interesting idea, but as i didnt read your description, and played it immediately, was a lot hard to me to understand your game. AFter that, i think i beat your game 2 times. Is it possible that your first block already 'block' your landing pad? I think one time this happened :/
There are 2 things that i liked in your game: The colors switch and the effect on the floor. I thought that sometimes it will disappear or it will turn into something else. After a while, and i knew that nothing would happen, I still had this feeling, and for me this is awesome!
Nice touch with the items and variability of powers. I didnt understand how many jumps i had, this made me play the game 'one platform at time".
I liked the bg music, it was pretty scary. It was pretty hard to perform the jumping and landing in the right place, they were very stressing for me. I liked the atmosphere and the graphics.
I'm the best pilot and nobody takes this from me! I liked your ambience, and how you manage to setup your solar system as well. Just the controls were a bit hard to manipulate. In the third time that I saved Earth, i was just pressing A + E + SPACE, and i saved the earth.
Good game! I was happily playing, and suddenly the game finished :( Good graphics and theme adaptation!
HAhahah good game! first i was just aligning them and didn't get that the yellow car needs to move out. After that, i liked a lot of the game, unfortunately i had a problem that one car got stucked in the gate, and i couldn't control new cars anymore. But this is definitely good, awesome work!
Saved Zeni only. How i love to deep into a game without knowing anything about it. I didnt know that was a visual novel and blam, cool story and cool SFX/Music syncs. The sencond time i was doing the puzzle, When I turned off the last bracket, it deleted every key (color), so i wasnt able to do it anymore. Thanks god there was a 3th chance. :) Awesome graphics, and the mouse view is an interesting point on using on these narrative games. Excelent job!
I like the idea of controlling a monster devouring other creatures and transform into them, aquiring new abilities. I felt like the battle pacing is slow, you need to kill many monsters before confronting the bigger ones, and to hit those monsters are pretty hard many times. I liked the art and the particles of the game, it were well made. Good Job!
HAHAHAAHAHAHA AWESOME story! I really laugh about it! The gameplay is short, but damm, it was really fun! Awesome Game!
This game has an awesome concept. I tooked some time trying to learn the basics and I still dont know how to up speed to 20 :( But its definetly a great game! Good job!
@akusan Thanks Akusan! Glad that you enjoyed it: )
@kuro Thanks for playing Kuro! :)
@kromeboy Thanks for your feedback! Glad that you found a shortcut on the final section! I would love to hear from you how you find it \o
@kromeboy Awesome Kromeboy! I saw it when I tested on the second time I guess. It was not designed to be there, but when I accidentaly fell on it, I decided to not remove it. "Maybe this acidental shortcut could make someone surprised on 'finding' a new way to go", i thought. There were 3 more accidental paths that i found when testing it. I removed 2 of them cause the character was falling praticaly in front of a fire ball and dying (it was needed a really fast movement to stay alive). Thanks again Kromeboy! <3
HAhahaha that game is something! Hahahaha I liked all options to create your own game, and sometimes creating something that is not a game! Maybe a kind of experimental/art gameplay inside GameMaker? I dont know, but you have gold here! Awesome entry!
I really liked the game! I found it very hard to arrange the itens to explode everything and find the melted core and bucket. I think it was not clear the explosion area effect of the radar/explosive powders. The artwork is awesome and the game design is pretty cool. This game caught me fast! Good job!
Well, learning that when you have nothing left, there is still some kind of force that force you to fight and carry on, its beatifull. I was thinking... What is the symbolism of the sword? Is it something that Evelyne carried whit her, due her will of being a great warrior? Or maybe a force from somewhere out, someone that is trying to help her? Well, thats a good game. Awesome job!
I liked how you can add words on those things and evolve them, unlocking new possibilities. Its a pretty unique concept. It felt for me like a MUD game with a Hud! Awesome job!
Interesting concept. It was pretty difficult to me to understand how you call new ants for your armie, and then go fight for the next mob. But then when some ants turn to your side, it gives a good rewarding feedback! Good job!
I really liked this game! For a LDJam is a great and enjoyable game! I didnt see anything new in this type of game, but i think you guys did it to test your skills/knowledge too. And I think the result was amazing! I wanted with all my strenght that i could automatically sent people to available jobs (well, working on a farm is very dangerous). Beside that, the game works nicely. Great job!
strate.png
I liked how you push yourself into battle to get more upgrades and energy. You must choose a good combat position and enemy to continue play, it was a good strategy touch. Congratulations!
I liked the concept of adding/gaining colors that change the scenario, i think you could mix more of it and make more puzzles. It was a good linear experience for me. Its a good insight that we are not happy only living in black and white. We need to see all colors to make us happy and pass differents phases of our lives ! \o/
I didnt get the concept i think. If you are a slave, why are you killing other like you? I didnt get that part. I felt like I was killing other slaves like i was, and that is not good at all (in so many ways). About the gameplay, I like it how you push foward yourself to the combo limits, putting yourself at risk. And the blood that stays on the map is a good touch. Other thing is that i didnt see my max combo, it would be nice to see it :/
Pretty inovative but very hard to dominate! I ended creating boring universes several times, but its kind of fun trying to mantain only materia and anti materia. Finding these kind of games on LD its always a lesson of game designing thinking. Good game!
The art style and animations are great, i really liked the connection with colors adding new mechanics and changing your enviroment, it is a good game desing. And the level design is great too for a non linear/metroidvania style of map. Its a pretty good game! Congratulations! o/
I like maze games and your storyline is nice, but in level 4, i could not retry the level after gravity started pushing me upwards :/ Level 2 is pretty hard i think, i couldnt remembered the path that i walked, maybe due the collision with walls that bounced me a little. The first level design was ok, growing after each light found and rewarding me with more vision sight. I liked the idea of each level proposes a different way of passing it. Keep working on it team!
I love those kind of puzzle! It was a great pleasure playing all those 12 levels! It remainded me the great ~ the Incredible machine ~ series from 90`s! Awesome game!
I liked the art style a lot! It remembered me some of innovative shaders used in games like Return of the Obra Dinn. But i didnt felt ok playing it, i dont know why. Walking and collecting itens, while I listened to the story was ok, but the loop felt strange to me. The pacing was slow i think. But you have achieved something cool here! Congratulations!
Good concept, i liked the minimap, concept and aesthetics! It was pretty hard for me to jump over enemies, sometimes i was pretty sure that i was above them but they hitted me (i used both object + shadows to guide me). The evolution was a good touch! Great entry!
I liked the aesthetics and the post processing effects, it was a good touch! I died with 9k gold, what I do with them? Its a good simple game, but the reloading time bored me sometimes. Did I miss something about the reloading (Maybe i was to anxious to play your game)? Good job!
I had some troubles finding other souls to save. In the first time I saved 3 souls and went to a -7 lives after some red souls collided with me. A dark map without any kind of indicator leaved me in a dark hole. The second time i got 3 souls, but I didnt find any other soul to save. A retry button could also be useful. Nice post processing effect!
Well, honestly, I loved your game. The idea is great, controls are nice and its the kind of simplistic game that I trully enjoy play. The level that I had to respawn before I went back to previously level was a FANTASTIC touch. Seriously, this game is awesome! <3 <3 <3
2222.PNG
This game has some cool puzzles. Sometimes I felt stucked due the timing of those thorns, they made me start the whole game again many times (sometimes just to pass trough them, I was wasting 2 or 3 movements to compensate a past error). I liked this lovecraftian game!
At the end I really liked on how I was trying to fast cast some notes and it syncronized with the ambience music! Sometimes i was trying to teleport to distant enemies but the wheel notes was not appearing entirely. That was the only thing that i felt like, "Oh, this could be different". Awesome music, awesome concept, i really liked it!
We have an awesome game here. Stabilishing connections in hazardous times brings me hope about our real situation. I usually dont play a lot of those text based games, but accessing the ghopers hub of other people was fun (nuts + maple tree/bees + hope was awesome). Great game and design, congratulations!
bea.PNG
Not the greatest score, but I had a great fun playing your game! Awesome musics! Congratulations!
I definetely had a great time playing this game. I wish a full and bigger version of it asap! Great concept and awesome gameplay! The kind of puzzle that I'm pretty satisfied with! Congratulations!
I loved the art and concept here. These damm humans, sending dogs with TNT, bad specie. I liked the gameplay at all, but at some point, even when I avoided everything bad (toxic trash can, encapsuled pig, tnt dog, and tires), i lost :/ i dont know if it's a random choice, but thats what i felt. Great game!
Well, i tried. I tried so hard that i'm exausted. I found a bug which the egg simply falls off my hands some times. It would be awesome if after changing the scenario, we had a checkpoint. The physics are a bit strange in a challenging and tiring (for me) way. Good job! It has a bit of humour that made me try again (and again... and again...).
asddd.png
Cool boardgame! I think it would be nicer if the dices were rolled faster. And the swords sound shocked me in the first time! hahahaha It is nice thinking on 8 max move steps ahead, and it is very hard to see a game for 2 players here, good job!
Great twist to a simple game! I'm already a fan of your work, you do neat games! This one is pretty hard! Love the aesthetics and the concept. Good job!
I've feld like an old samurai in a good samurai battle. The background is gorgeous and the all assets fit the concept of the game. Simple and Good job!
Capture3.PNG
Am I missing something here? There is something after this thoughts?
I really liked the concept of this game. The assets are pretty well done and consistent. Music gives the correct mood and the narrative is interesting. Sometimes i couldnt pick the itens anymore. This made me restart the game 3 times. Anyway, its a great game! Good job!
Hi @akusan! I liked the concept of your game! I didnt catch what each card does, and I was trying at first to sell everything to know the costs of each card. After, i understood that books and going to bathroom gets the Deckling a faster road to hollywood. So I ended trying to give him only food and balancing what I can sell for a higher price and keeping books and those kind of stuff. I reached 5 days doing it. And i liked the humour in the cards! Congratulations!
The art is amazing and its a cool clicker game. I found the ghost movement anoying some times, but it's a cool concept you have here! Good job!
Happy to see cachaça to blend with other drinks :) I couldnt see the leaderboard after i played it :( I really wanted to see my score  It would be nice if the jukebox worked hehe I didnt understand in the beginning how it worked, maybe some tutorial or player feedback would be nice. Good job!
Interesting ideia. I didnt understand how the plant was hitting the zombies, some visual feedback would be awesome. It was to hard from the 4th wave on. If the gardener were faster planting and watering them, it would be easier. Good job.
Awesome game. I liked the use of mines to destroy the blocks, and always died by the big rock + other threats (+ mines more times). I liked the simple visuals and animations are smooth. Awesome! And the detail to screenshot the moment of your death is gold. Good job!
Capture.PNG
Beautifull aesthetics, comrade! I got killed even when behind the walls. I like how the gameplay changed for a fast decision to an analysis of the whole perspective to get the rescue done. I really liked the game! Well done!
I failed every time on saving the pacient. It was very hard to understand (i trully dont know if I understood actualy) the instructions, and try to imagine where the line will follow to put the correct arrow is pretty hard. The concept is cool, though. Good job!
I liked a lot the art and the sound of the game, but I didnt understand how I know when the ghost is near or far from me? I get the sound and the lamp failing, but i dont know how to respond to that! You have a good composition in general, congratulations!
Cool game! It was pretty hard do drone some stages, but in the end, no pegeons and snipers could catch the drone master! Congratulations!
I thought it was a very short game, but I liked the hand made sprites and animations! I had to restart the game to solve the box falling puzzle, cause lil jones was in the wrong place, and i couldnt move the box anymore! :v: And in the final, for some reason the end didnt triggered to me. I was asking me, if, somehow, its more important to leave with lil jones or with the diamond :family:
Awesome art and concept, and a pretty hard game to win too! I didn't pass the third level, you have to be really fast on shooting and hiding. Well executed game, good job!
"You always loved your hamster!" haahah cool narrative/ pet game. It would be cooler if you had more things to do with the alien while waiting for the narrative ( I could only feed and pet him. Did i lost something here?). Art is awesome, and the narrative is cool. I was thinking about the narrative, and I saw that I can't trully do a role play answer, as I know that they are going to get my pet away from me. It made me think about narratives. Great work!
Team, tell me somehting: Is there a boot upgrade available? I think i tried everything to upgrade it! hahaha I liked the game a lot! Great visuals and music. only the battle gave me some trouble to hit the enemies, i dont know if its due the character movement or the hitbox from my sword (that i upgraded 2 times, he he he). It feels a big game already, with full of possibilities! Great entry! Congratulations! OBS: I didnt understand the red totem (ok, the last night was red, as the harvest moon, but is it?)
The music is nice, but playing drums was pretty hard to me. I would like there was some kind of tutorial to learn how to play every instrument. I didnt have any problems to run it. Good to see a hard programmer here!
Capture2.PNG
I feel like the stages were all the same, and didnt feel comfortable going around them. I played it just going foward (trying to never hitting a wall). And I made this score just standing in the same place. Maybe a more urgent feeling would add more enthusiasm to the game. I liked the concept and the light effects. Congrats!
I liked a lot the animation when hittig the ground. I couldn't pass level 2, and I tried 3 times. Maybe it would be better to give an option to restart the level (at least one time, maybe?), like an extra life (IMO). Good art and solid gameplay. Good job!
Awesome art and concept. Maybe some effects on slash and feedback for hitting things would add more coolness to the game! Good job!
The art is gorgeous! What an amazing style! i liked the gameplay a lot. The hardest for me were the cars... I didnt see the shadows going by in the first time (and second, and third...) , but after that, I was feeling like a worried chicken mom, but a good one. Awesome game!
Good infinity shooter. Solid and simple gameplay and well executed. Congratulations!
It's a good concept. For a first jam, you done well! For next work, try a smaller game, its awesome to do a lot with few things. And i like the art!
Capture5.PNG
Simple and well executed game. Good that has some sensitivity settings, it's important on that type of game. I wish my bullets had some kind of impact effect, it would be awesome! Good job!
#DLCFIGADOPOTENTE Bom trabalho!
Capture6.PNG
I liked the concept of this game, but it would be great a how to play / tutorial screen to understand faster the game. Its nice to try high combos dashing, and the slow motion effect is nice! I can see a more polished version on this game on html5 game portals! Good job!
Capture.PNG
Interesting game. I liked the camera movement a lot, it gives an good action moment, and the SFX is good too. I didnt get why the snake cant move all the time, even if i'm not being seeing by a drone. Overall, good work.
Awesome game! First one that i play that was made with Unreal. I liked how you implemented the power ups, but the controls were hard at the first time.
But congratulations! Solid entry :)
asdasda.png
My best was 99, but i couldnt get this much again :( I like the rhythm of the game, but several times an enemy spawned behind me, alawys hitting me (im not the fastest person in the world hahaha). And the long play that i made, the game spawned 3 items exactly where i started, so this was a nice benefit. The darkhole was a nice touch, definitely is a game that has a deeper gameplay.
Congratulations!
daybreak.png
This is a hard game! Awesome concept being a vampire dealing with 2 currencies! the first time playing it I didnt understand well how to manage my blood/mana pool, but in the third time (focusing on understanding it) i manage it well (but i'm horrible hahaha). It was a blast when i accidentally grapped myself when i hitted the tomb. Awesome game! Nice visuals, nice concept, and well polished! Nice entry! Congratulations :) :)
***What a game!***
Really, that's an awesome game! So many times it was pretty hard to balance the bar with hearth due to its movements and precision, but every time counted.
What a story, and the flower messages were a fabulous touch for the game.
This game has a incredible sensibility. I'm amused with your execution and idea.
Congratulations team, you have an memorable piece of art here.
I lost the cout of how many times I died! hahaha I couldnt control well the snowboarder, so i died too many times before I got some points and jump in a plataform. I like snowboarding games, and i really tried to explore all mechanics, but i seriously died at least 20 times before my surrender at the doom peak. Probably i am horrible playing this kind of games, but something that would be nice it would be if the return to start screen was faster. Sometimes i died hitting the first tree/rock and the slowmotion interrupt me to reset the play again. And for last, the sound of him dying was funny ahahah
Congratulations! (sorry for any bad typo :) :) )
I saved a lot of snowmen there haahahah And killing them was kind of awesome too hehehehe And the shark attack was a nice surpise, with a little flavor of jumpscare! Congratulation :)
stoptheclock.png
Hahaha awesome game. The idea of faking the button activation was awesome! After playing 2 times in a row i thought it would be awesome if it had more of this content. The only thing that i didn't like was the fake buttons that prompted in the clock. I thought that I had to click on them (and obviously I release the button myself). It was the only trick that I didn't feel like I was the responsible for making my live harder hahahah Awesome concept!
I loved the art of your game! It feels very polished (the vfx for damage from the big guy is pretty well made). I liked the music too, but it feels like if the song were more oppressing, for an arena battle, it would fit more (but its cool and pretty clean). I wish this kind of vfx/animation were used on the main attack of the character, it would add more impact for the gameplay and the aesthetics!
Solid entry, nice game! Congrats :)
7.png
I really tried to go far, but i coudnt hahah Definetly is easier when your are not standing. Maybe if the plataforms have more space between them would be easier.
Is it procedural?
Overall, congratulation! Simple and addicting!
survivors.png
What a beautiful game! I loved the art work and the concept of it! This is the kind of game that I would easily play again. It goes too fast, and I felt like I could do nothing about it (theme totally achieved). Congratulations, you made a very polish and a totally solid game.
Its the first time that i see a game made on scratch here on LD! This is awesome! I don't know why sometimes the enemies accumulated in a corner of screen, but this made me gain so many points with the fire ball that i cant complain :) :). It would be nice if the game had a how to play in the main menu. The first time that I played i just tried to avoid the enemies XD. Congratulations team!
Lumi.png
I liked the art of the game! I didnt understand fast the movement of the White beard guy the first time, but after that, the gameplay loop were smooth :) :)
Congratulations team \o/
complex.png
Well, that was a complex game! The first time i saw the interface and a intro dialogue, I was perplexed about the scope here! I traveld to all planets/satellites/moon and get everything, but I couldnt buy anything beside materials in water based planets. Am I missing something here? The first time I played the return action didnt work (enter), i needed to refresh my browser (and i dont know why it worked only on Edge, my firefox didnt show the first screen). Beside that, it was fun playing it and gathering resources. The last thing i did was go to out of screen, maybe searching for a new galaxy, and due to movement i couldnt return (that was risky and i knew it haha). I liked the sprites. And, i'm curious. Which engine did you use? And finally, congratulations! Nice game :) :)
ship.png
HAhahahaha it was really fun trying to save those souls, and a little desperate with the messages of people dying all the time! I really liked the jokes here, and the overall gameplay is balanced. It was a surprise having 3 powerups, that was an achievement! Congratulations team! A pretty nice solid game.
queda.png
Hahahaha Awesome falling things! The Trex surprised me.
Simple game and funny. And I forget the tab opened with your game and i listened to the music for 1h or more.
AWESOME music hahaha
pleasedontdie.png
I liked your game, i enjoyed the vibrant colors and the twist on the scenario that goes around the screen! I tought it was hard to go from level 2 to 3, but after that leveling was fast and even killing a lot of enemies, i feeled that i was always close to gain another level :)
And the hedgehog monster remimend me of Lavos from Chrono Trigger, I feeled like I had to kill him first :)
This game remind me games like LSD (Lucid Dreams Simulator) due the color changing and psychedelic visuals! When I played for the first time, I thought it would be a game with some parkour mechanics. The movement and jump controls were fine and I beated it 2 times searching for a different way in the last platform. I think it would be a nice twist and more adaptable to the theme if the time from the plataforms were getting faster. Congratulations!! :)
The controls were harder, but after some time you feel like a person operating a mechanic. I think that this is a hard game to achieve all its goals. And nice reference, you definitely achieved the inspiration here :)
Congrats :) And its nice to see someone making games without popular engines o/ good work
