I like how you synchronized the time with actual time.

musicblox 2019-10-07 00:36

Fairly simple game. I enjoyed how you got slower the more stuff you had, and the pun you made the game around. Not much to say, you just made a game where you collect falling stuff and avoid falling stuff. Good job though.

tic 2019-10-07 11:38

One thing that was painful in the gameplay is that the files often fall with a mine just above them so you can't collect them and you have to wait yet another round. I hadn't seen clippy for a long time so +1 for nostalgia :)

Hilarious! I love the literal interpretation of the theme, and the bouncy little start button is super charming.

cornettheory 2019-10-07 12:03

theme times 1000, very powerful wordplay. short and sweet complete idea.

clemonades 2019-10-07 15:06

Fits the theme wonderfully. Silly and fun little game, nice job!

kristinamay 2019-10-07 16:46

LOL I didn't get the pun in the name until I read another commenter pointing it out. Great game.

odeyalko 2019-10-07 17:12

very simple game, looks greate

boltkey 2019-10-07 19:15

Cute interpretation of the theme. The game itself was not really innovative or exactly fun, but I think it is nicely polished and feels good.

2019-10-08 15:31

Heh yep I missed the joke from just the comments - hysterical! A little washy on the movement though.

theog 2019-10-08 21:49

I'm glad you didn't choose the Windows XP start menu, haha. Funny interpretation of the theme, the game is quite simple but done well.

hajden 2019-10-08 21:52

A trip down memory lane, thanks for reminding me of clippy!

kr0s 2019-10-09 08:20

This reminds me of small and simple games from the dialup days. Nice job.

egos 2019-10-09 13:54

fit perfectly I love that the speed slow with garbage menu windows ;)

annie-owl 2019-10-09 20:06

It amazes me, how many different interpretations of the theme people can come up with  Really fun twist on this LD theme! The gameplay is simple, but fun and engaging. The only thing I could wish for is some BGM, but I understand how hard it is - to make BGM for a compo game.

fax 2019-10-10 13:36

It's a great old school game ^^. Don't see this screen and this character since...96'. Congratulations.

glitchheart 2019-10-10 18:16

I really like the idea of the style and audio! Gameplay is fairly generic, but it is complete and works really well. Great execution and feels like a done game.

realitycheck 2019-10-11 13:53

This was a fun little game.

The idea was really solid and fit the theme very well. There wasn't really a whole lot going on, of course, but I liked how if you got hit by a mine you lost the collected programs.

Good job.

kaeveris 2019-10-11 18:07

Very fun little game! It gets a bit frustrating when you have almost all programs and you feel you're almost there but you're so slow it's so easy to get hit and lose the programs XD

welliton 2019-10-13 17:10

That was nostalgic! I beat the game playing once, i wish we could open the programs menu and continue the game, but for a jam time it's great. The "Start with nothing" is a really great concept! Hahahaha awesome!

romes 2019-10-14 13:03

it's really funny how you become slower ahahah. I beat the game! It's simple but very enjoyable, nice!

kleinzach 2019-10-14 23:32

Certainly a very unique take on the theme. I like the style a lot!

rhymar 2019-10-16 22:12

oh the good old win95 times, thanks for bringing them back^^

rhoka 2019-10-16 23:37

Love the take on the theme. Nice and simple game and well executed. I might just tweak a couple things. I would slow the speed at which things are falling. This would increase the play time without it feeling too long. This would also make it a bit easier to dodge the mines as you get heavier with more menu items. A good few times I got close to the last item or two and lost 2-3 in row because of how fast the mines came and I couldn't move away in time. On the note of heaviness. I think some sort of on screen indication of how you get slower as you get more items would help. I didn't really even notice until I was on the last item. Over though, well done!

aj-jones 2019-10-27 21:23

Amazing, great implementation of the theme!
