I love the art style and the animations are awesome. Didn't really understand combat though, possibly a bit hard? I was pretty lost.

Very nice sounds, particle effects, animations and drawings the floor looks a bit to repetitive though could have used a little bit more variety? (but still better than the single colored floor in my game :D ) Game was too hard for me since when ever i attacked the creatures i also got hit and died very quickly so instead i just tried to outrun them but that wasnt possible either because they were to fast so i guess i didn't even see half of the level :( without of the leveling up being possible for me at least it didnt fit the theme to well so in total it looks very nice but could use some gameplay and difficulty optimization
Hey Bro, nice game. It really hard, hehe. I felt difficulty in attack the enemies, in ants, I need be very align to perform a attack ant hit it.
The particle effect around the character was really cool with the character sprite. Nice work!
the character and enemy sprites are gnarly that's probably the best way to describe this game I especially like the jumping mushroom and am wondering if it has social media I can follow I'm curious about the jumping mushroom I guess I think it would be reasonable if there was a long range weapon maybe as an upgrade also I can confirm the linux build works
Oooh absolutely loved the music! it really egged me on while i was desperately running from like 20 ants and 5 mushrooms, it would be cool if there were some kind of pickups such as health or speed as the difficulty was so high otherwhise
I like the idea of controlling a monster devouring other creatures and transform into them, aquiring new abilities. I felt like the battle pacing is slow, you need to kill many monsters before confronting the bigger ones, and to hit those monsters are pretty hard many times. I liked the art and the particles of the game, it were well made. Good Job!

I spent so much time trying to kill the big ones before any else. I didn't understand if you could evolve, i ate a lot of them and nothing happened? Nice graphics, and hard gameplay. Congratulations on your submission!
@romes Sorry about that, you can transform, but only after killing the boss in each section. The biggest one. It was meant to be a bit more obvious, but, well, you know how game jams go.

I like the collage style of art here, had this unique late 90s aesthetic to it. I think adding a bit more animation or pause on enemy attacks so players can anticipate when to eat will make things feel a bit more fair. Nice work, keep it up!
