This was a fun game. I like the retro feel. Cool aspect ratio and the theme was well represented! It was very tower defense and it was a joy to play. I like attention to the different enemy types. Some slow you down, some actually hurt the dragon when they get to the edge, and some just get in the way of the dragon fire. Great work!
Love the game, interesting idea with the theme. Everything is good, good retro vibe. I found the game quite fun considering how simple the gameplay is. Good idea for the different npc. The only downside: it isn't very innovative....

Great game! Feels a lot like a game and watch game, simple and instant gameplay, with scaling difficulty and with the variants of enemy types. Also I think the game would work better without the horizontal movement and maybe with fewer rows?
For how simple the mechanics are, it's incredibly effective and fun.
Loved the game, a little hard to understand what's going on at time with the score but great overall, good job littlew00d <3

Neat game. I like the gold piles in the center. You should make the gems look like bags of gold like they are carrying away bags of gold. I never figured out what the princess was all about. :clap:
well hat the game reminiscent of the atari style congratulations.
Very addictive, I could not help but do several sessions to improve my score. Continue playing with more levels of scenery and a little scripting, there is something to do with it !!

Very fun and easy to pick up and learn!
Great work! It's very simple to pick up and the sounds and graphics are very charming. I definitely see the Game & Watch inspiration. I think it would be better if gems didn't despawn so you were forced to move around more. I realized that if I went all the way to the left I could shoot right to hit everything, which made the game pretty easy.

@mlleab & @ristoretto I'm currently looking into adding different styles / layouts of stages that progressively get harder as you go along with the odd bonus round added in between stages to be separate to the endless mode.
I had originally planned to have a nice opening cutscene to introduce the player to the world but had to leave it out due to prioritizing bug fixes with my very limited free time during the jam. .
@dovakla Thanks, I'll look into removing or increasing the time it takes for stolen treasure to despawn. I added the despawn timer in as I found that it became unmanageable during the wave rush of enemies.
@elysiagriffin It was a pleasure watching you play my game live and I got a lot of game play feedback from you. I immediately started working on new backgrounds as it wasn't obvious to everyone that the dragon could fly over the gaps in the lanes. At some point I will get an online leader board setup.
Really good little game, refreshing and well executed. The music is really nice, the game is simple and challenging. Well done !
Graphics are incredible, sound effects are really satisfying when you shoot the fire. This is awesome, I could see myself playing this game more.
