Nice!

notekri 2019-05-02 10:15

Its a cool game, but I didn't really understand, what the game was about, a tutorial would be nice.

sundhar 2019-05-04 09:51

@notekri now i have updated tutorial... and thank you for your review

sundhar 2019-05-04 09:52

@sillyman987 thank you!

naruvan 2019-05-05 10:07

The game looks quite nice! It's very slow but I enjoyed trying to hit multiple enemies with one bullet.

davidus 2019-05-05 10:26

Nice game! A lack of various enemies and sounds. But overall a funny game .

jaoel 2019-05-05 10:32

I liked the simplistic look of the graphics.

I didn't understand at first that I had to swipe in the tutorial.

I like the idea of controlling the bullets after you fire them, but I feel like the bullets disappear too quickly or are too fast to fully take advantage of it.

I feel like there is no impact when the bullets hit an enemy. Some screen shake or particles / lights can make a big difference.

The window on itch.io seems to be smaller than the unity player, so some elements of the screen are outside of the window. This can be fixed by editing your game on itch.io and scroll down to `Viewport dimensions` and set that to the same size as the unity player.

Here’s some feedback. I understand this probably plays better on a touch screen, but I only played it on PC. So, it’s a decent prototype but there’s not much originality or particular mechanics. I found that the bug-type monsters were a lot more difficult to kill than the snails. so the snail boss was the only one I managed to kill. The major things I would change are 1) have a larger viewport, 2) fix the collision detection: bullets often touch the aliens without actually hitting them. The #1 thing I would add is some probably some effects when monsters are hit: visual feedback (explosions, flickering…) and other effects (slowing down).

@samh @jaoel @naruvan @davidus thank you for your review....i have added partice effects for the bullet but its not working in web build and it only shows a white dot when particle effect is played...actually the bullet mechanic i have planed that the bullet should be controlled like yandu's arrow in guardians of galaxy.....so i didn't destroy the bullets as soon as it hits the enemy.... so you can able to controll the bullets till its destroy time.....and this is my first time participating in ludum dare....i dont know where, how and when to start........ and sorry for my bad english...:)

The graphics are cute, but also kind of inconsistent, in the sense that the player character is the only one that has lines, while the enemies are all lineless.

eric-smith 2019-05-06 03:51

Neat little game. It would have been nice to put some more work into the tutorial. I was just about to quit thinking I broke it until I figured out to scroll the tutorial. I had no idea what to do with the eyeballs or even how to pick them up. so all the keys and that information would have been helpful. I killed the boss but the rapid clicking is a mouse killer. I would have preferred to just hold down the mouse button to shoot. :v:

curled-leaf 2019-05-06 04:29

Good game but definetly need some improvements and graphics. It feels too slow and weak to me. Player must have bigger speed and some action feeling. But boss fight and shooting mechanics are good. Liked it!

sundhar 2019-05-06 07:44

@maychant thank u for you review....i will definitely work on it in my future games....:)

@eric-smith thank u for playing my game.....you can able to pick the eyeball thing only if your health low... and sorry for that improper tutorial

@curled-leaf thank you for your review....ill try to rectify my errors in my future jams :)

Congrats, well done.

I liked the art of your game, but it seems that you used different styles in some elements. I missed the audio, but I understand by the time. Maybe it leaves the automatic shot while holding the mouse button could be good.

Please, rate my game and leave some feedback too =]

Being able to swipe to control bullets is an interesting mechanic. I didn't manage to beat the boss but it was fun.

sundhar 2019-05-07 07:36

@kaish thank u for your review:) ....and definitely I'll play and rate yours too ;)

@sylvie thank u for playing my game and for your review ..

A good start; I like the idea of being able to hit multiple targets with the same bullet, though it felt like the enemies had a little too much health and drained your own hit points very rapidly if they came into contact with you (perhaps consider adding a knockback and temporary invulnerability to the player if they take damage). It would be interesting if some of the enemy types moved in ways other than taking a straight line towards the player, and the system for navigating the tutorial was a little confusing - it took me a while to realise I had to drag the screen instead of clicking something. I liked the art style of the game, and there's definitely a lot of potential for future expansion here; keep it up!

pengda 2019-05-09 12:32

The hero is vivid

melaniee 2019-05-09 12:34

Nice game :) Just a little thing: the tutorial is not easy to go through with a touchpad :/ Good job!

ghostgoatsgames 2019-05-09 14:47

Being able to curve the bullets is cool, and I liked the interaction. I just never really felt the need to do it in the game. Cool concept!

keyurrana 2019-05-12 08:48

I like the idea of controlling the bullet after firing. The art nice as well.

I felt that the game was a little slow. Also, the bullets disappear too early to use the control mechanic effectively.

At first, I didn't realize I had to swipe the tutorial, I kept clicking the arrow.

With some sounds, this game can be a lot more fun.

sleepystudios 2019-05-12 11:05

Tutorial was impossible to read on a trackpad so I just dived in. Combat seemed fun and liked the idea of moving objects around to block shots. Would've been better if the movement and projectile speed for the character were a bit faster.
