This was awesome! really well done, I just don't have anything to nitpick tbh. Good work!!
Super good concept!! I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot and also I really think this game fits the theme of the jam almost perfectly. What I did miss is a sense of direction or objective but I get it's part of the charm of the game. Great job man!
Wow this was an experience indeed hahaha! I really liked the intro sequence, after that the feeling of weirdness got somewhat distorded depending of the room but it was interesting. Some rooms I did not know how to "exit" and felt a bit lost. But in the end it was a good experience, Good job!!
This was an awesome experience. I really like how you have mixed the weird theme of the jam (stuck in a loop) with a pretty "real" and relatable story. The plot-twist in the middle really caught me of guard, I liked it a lot! I did encounter a weird bug where my "other me" came to say something and fell into her demise haha. Apart from that, I enjoyed it A LOT. Thanks for that and good job!!
Good job! I really like the mood and the gameplay on this entry, plus the visuals and sound effects fit extremly well. My only complain is that I missed that you could interact with the bomb from the begining by pressing E. Probably is because I was just so obsesed with the timer and the tension of the game that it not clicked on my mind that using the bomb was my actual objective hahaha. Amazing entry!!
Nice game! I like how you implemented the theme of the jam in the game, well done! also I really the different things that can be seen inside the "degrimer machine" (a cat! lol). It was a bit confussing at the begining because I did not know what to do (the enemy was not on sight) but overall I had a good time!! good job!
Interesting concept! Myabe some kind of "colour radar" (or power-up?) to help the player find its way would also help? I don't have a really good eye for colour so that could be also me hahaha. The "H" key definitely helped me! Good job!
Great game! I really like its visuals and the idea of using your own body in order to get pass the different obstacles. What I miss is being able of rotating the camera, I understand is part of the game but it was a bit uncomfortable. Amazing job!!
I really enjoyed the gameplay! it certainly reminded me to Spay The Spire or somilar games. I missed some music and different sound effects but I enjoyed the general experience. Great job!!
Nice work! at the begining I was a bit confused but after a bit the game really grew on me. I really like the fact that you can download your musical loop in the end. Well done and good work implementing the theme in such a cool way!
This was amazing! really liked the polished UI, the sound effects and the music. The gameplay was refreshing and also pretty funny, it kinda reminded me a bit of games like Surgeon Simulator. Great work, I loved it!!
Interesting idea! I really was a bit afraid of burning my non-existential computer hahaha. Good job!
Really enjoyed this entry! it reminded me a lot to Nuclear Throne, a game I personally LOVE. The gameplay felt pretty fun and the SFX were super satisfactory. My only complain is that I don't see the game fitting the theme too much. Apart from that, good job!
WOW I was not ready for that. Beautiful little experience, love it from beginning to end, congrats!
I really liked the idea and the mood of this game! but it took me more than a bit to link the conversations together. Great game!
I really like the main mechanic (switching colors in order to kill the enemies) and the fact that you needed to shoot into empty space in order to change your bullets. It adds another extra complexity layer to the game that I really like! also it reminded me a bit to Ikaruga so kudos for that. Good job!
Cool concept! it fits the theme in a pretty smart way, I like it! also the music is 10/10. Good job!
I really enjoyed this mini boss rush! solid experience, reminded me a tiny bit to Titan Souls. Good entry although I did not see the theme being represented (maybe being stuck in a boss battle?). Good work!
As others have said, the game starts pretty basic but it gets better and better. I really enjoyed the experience, the atmosphere (the passing planets through the window!) and the sound effects. Good job man!!
Super smart gameplay! It took me a bit to really get the gripe of the game but I really felt smart when my loops went as expected. Also super satisfying sound + visuals, awesome work!
LOVED the art style for this game! I also enjoyed a lot the UI and the tiny puzzles each level provides. Good job!!
It took me a minute to understand that I really had to loop in order to set traps (monster always was catching me hahaha) but then the gameplay clicked in my mind. I like the tension that generates the game but not knowing where is the monster could be a bit frustrating. Overall solid job!!
Good job man! I really enjoyed the arcade feel of it, from hitting the asteroids to destroying the ships or using power-ups, LOVE IT. What I miss is a bit more of speed, the game feels a bit slow, at least in the begining. Solid entry!
@adil @mkraw Thanks for the feedback guys! just for clarification (and this probably will help others too), the game is based on a typical "programming loop". Meaning, "while" you perform the actions the game is giving to you the levels will loop. Hope this helps and thank you again!!
@dudum-lare @cakemonitor @xandra @hengen @eldogg @purrseus @croxel-studios @emiliabea @angela-he Thank you so much for your feedback and kind comments!! <3 for sure, after the Ludum has ended, I will update the build with some improvements, including the ability to skip the "while screen" + being able to move with the platforms.
Thanks again for your time!
@strega @doctormozart @moritz-jaeger @deathstorm @jin9310 @dizzy @tunahead @zackary-bazzle @neithr @captainproton42 @lut1n @superunknown @island-jam-2-group-3 @jhax @polymorph thank you all for your feedback!! we will be upadting the game after the Jam with some quality of life improvements. The game feeling too hard seems to be a common issue so we are thinking on, instead of redoing all the loop conditions again after diying, just remove one condition from the counter as a mini "punishment" or simply not removing any conditions at all. We will see!
@matlab thank you for your elaborated feedback!!! as pointed, definitively gonna update the game after the Jam so it feels a bit more approachable and polished. Also I'm really glad you liked the ending!
@mediyaz Thank you for your feedback!! <3
@superunknown @matlab thanks guys for adding more context and details to your feedback, definitively gonna adjust that part of the game. I don't want to just remove the sense of punishment but I agree that moving the player backwards everytime he/she fails is too much. I'm thinking a fair thing to do would be moving the user back to the rule he/she actually broke, so if the player ignores the second rule, then the game will make him/her redo the level FROM the second rule (and the same with the third and the first rule). Hope something like this hits a middle ground!
Thank you again for your time!
Man I had a BLAST playing this! the gameplay, the sfx, the minimalistic graphics... it all felt GREAT, I loved it. Good job!!
It was an interesting concept! I enjoyed the music choices and how the theme was portrayed. Good job!
I really liked the mood on this one, great job!
Great game! catching the passengers was a bit difficult to me at least but it only made the ride more fun in the end. My only nitpick, a bit of help (maybe some indicators in the UI) in order to get an idea of where the passengers will be landing would help. Special mention to the sfx and the music. Good job!
I really like the idea of this game, also the art it's great too! I had a bit of trouble picturing were my player was gonna move specially after dyinng. As a small suggestion, maybe would be nice touch if the lower bar was more synched with the level (like, the spot where you put a jump in the bar is pretty near to where you are gonna jump in the scenario)? In any case, a great game with a solid gameplay! congratulations!!
Loved the art and the music (as everyone!). I think this is a great first job! nicely done :)
