Known Issues: The game might lock up on first run. Just launch it a second time, and it should play effectively. Let us know if you have any other questions or issues! Also, the embed doesn't work sadly, using an experimental build, can't get it to play quite right.
Fun little game, grapple hooks are always a good time! Couldn't get the embedded version to work on the LD page but ran fine on Itch. Great stuff!
Really fun little platformer! The movement mechanics were great (although a little jank) and the music was certainly a bop. Great job!
Idea is quite nice. I like that you have deliver packages through the dungeon and totally adore those monster designs! Grapling-dashing mechanics reminds me of terraria movement, though in here you kind of jump-dash instead.
I didn't quite get what was with that selection of levels popup (?) when you press F on a cook - nothing would 'select' it and I just ended up with attempting to grab things. It may be something to do with web version being funky though. As soon as I would leave area - the marker would pop, so the rest were fine.
There are moments where after jumps/dashes/falls all controls would kind of refuse to be registred until you release move button and press it again. Felt a bit clunky...
Levels felt random-ish to me a bit. Sometimes really difficult to navigate, though it probably because of this 'stuck movements' issue to be fair.
Can't try it on Linux to compare if the movement bug was due to web version acting up... so that is all I can say :<
But solid entry overal!
Very fun to play!
I think a very important and helpful thing to point out is that you can wall jump (at least in the description here), found the game quite frustrating before I found out as the grappling hook can kind of handle it but is finicky.
Since you have text menus and overlay in the game already it would have been nice to have a text at the pizzeria saying pick delivery location, or something similar, found it confusing as I didn't know how to get a different delivery.

Love the movement, fast, got a little lost sometimes, a map would be nice to navigate better or something that you could plan your route.
Fun game!! The jump-dash-grapple combo made it very enjoyful to play. Could fly anywhere basically. 10/10 would recommend 👍👍
Nice graphics and music. I found it little problematic to play on my laptop to move, jump and use the grapple hook.
This is a perfect game, you've made a perfect game. That grappling hook? perfection. Love it. Catboys deserve pizza.
Loved the grappling hook, really well executed!

The grappling mechanic is very fun and satisfying to play. The goal of the game is not that clear, and navigation is quite hard to understand, but overall the game is fun to play. Nice entry!

Some nice fun here! I think I'd make the grappling hook reach just a bit further (or less distant ceilings perhaps?) and not have the player slow down as fast to keep some momentum going, especially upwards.
This was fun! Keyboard controls didn't register sometimes, but the gamepad worked fine.
This is a great game. If there were more levels and the UI was a bit better, I'd consider paying for a full release of this.
Took me a while to understand that the (!) icon was pointing to the delivery direction and the level felt very big and repetitive and after delivering a package I felt I had got everything the game had to offer but traversing the level felt nice as the hook mechanic is quite polished, congratulations!
I had the same issue with Godot 4 export! I'm glad you managed to upload on itch.io. I had to do the same. Overall, really good entry, fun and cute graphics too. My only complaint is that the jump could be like 10px higher, since I got stuck multiple times in a small height such as 2 tiles. The grappling hook felt a bit too fast, so it was hard to control it. Good luck with the jam!
Nice game with fun movement; I was a little unclear on where to go at first until I noticed the red indicator moving around. Maybe a different icon such as an arrow would have been more intuitive. There could also be more variation in the level such as different obstacles; but for a game jam this works well and it was fun just to grapple around.
Swinging around with the hook is really satisfying, really great game overall!
