for a game jam game, this is super polished! looks i have more to learn from this

braeden 2025-10-08 02:10

Really cool! Great job on all of the assets! I love the UX, feels very polished. I did find a bug where I couldn't place an object because there was no room left, and I had no option from what I can tell to pick a different object so I had to refresh the page. It would have been super cool to get to watch the guests walk through the museum if you had more time to work on the game.

For a game jam, I have to say this game really impressed me. All the models are so cool, and the controls felt very polished. Your team did an amazing job. My only complaint is that it maybe felt a bit too repetitive after a while. Congrats to everyone who worked on it!

Another gallery game, this is the theme for galleries for sure lol, that being said what a fantastic entry! I love the art style, and had a blast curating the rooms. not the hardest game but it was still a blast.

camcomduck 2025-10-08 02:57

What an incredible game for a weekend game jam, your entire team should be so proud of their work! The modeling and music are professional quality, this is what I would expect a Steam game that I paid real money to look and feel like. For a couple small gameplay notes for the future, I think it would be very helpful to move objects after they are placed (even within the same exhibit, I understand if you don't want people rearranging everything for balance). I found myself sometimes accidently double click the furniture card which would select the furniture and immediately place it down under, and without movement after this was a bit frustrating. Also the ability to view your current museum and go back to the card selection screen to plan better would be nice. Just a bit of feedback to polish this already incredibly polished game! :)

A quiet and peaceful museum, well done, amazing curator! I enjoyed the put and music time

Maybe adding a "Move" option would be better

Anyway I give it 5/5 Like

Thanks for all the great feedback everyone!

@braeden I will make sure to pass on this game-breaking bug info to our programmers! I thought I had that happen during one of my playthroughs but actually had a whole extra room that opened up that I didn't see. Not sure if that might have been the case for you too. Either way thank you for giving it a 2nd go! Also, funny that you mention the idea of seeing the guests walking around the museum, that was actually a feature we started to implement early on but ended up having to cut due to time😅

@camcomduck @yibirabbit007 Being able to move exhibits was something that was brought up more than once during the jam😆 Definitely something we wanted to add, but I think the programmers spent a lot of time tackling placement/UI bugs before we could figure out implementing movement in a way that wouldn't make it too easy balance-wise in a game that's already fairly easy. But if we continue development this will for sure be a top priority! And thanks for the note about double clicking and accidentally placing, I'll pass that info on!

yibirabbit007 2025-10-08 04:48

@jordan-neff Looking forward to it!

By the way, the in-game values seem very easy to control. By stacking beneficial items as much as possible, you can clear the levels quickly. However, the real-time increase of personnel points in the levels is not very noticeable, so maybe you could improve that.

jordan-neff 2025-10-08 05:10

For sure! There's definitely more I think we can portray to the player through UI that's not currently shown (or at least not well). I experienced this myself during playtesting so I wholly agree!

nekobones 2025-10-08 07:18

This is crazily polished and fun! The graphic and audio are perfect, unbelievable! The whole gameplay does fit the theme, it's super relaxing and rewarding. It didn't feel good when I need to choose a new collection without having a chance of checking what I already had in my museum, but overall it's super cool, and I really like the game.

I love the artwork! Great job!.

apdt 2025-10-09 03:32

What a work you've made! Absolutely stunning! It's already ready to be distributed! Wish you luck and lots of inspiration! Five stars from us)

tunggd 2025-10-09 19:05

The game is really polished and feels nice to play. It would be lovely to see people in the gallery as well.

surfa 2025-10-09 19:54

Was very polished could easily see it being expanded into more of a mobile puzzle game. Currently it felt like it was a bit easy but for a Jam that is probably good as you want people to finished it and enjoy their time.

For me what stood out to other games was the overall standard. I think it is easy in a jam to have one or many parts feel rushed or sub-standard but everything here felt like it had a good level of polish. The graphics, the UI, the SFX and music all done to a high level. Great job

This is one of the most polished titles I've sen so far!! I made it to about 87,000 points by the end of season 5...it was a ton of fun thinking about the synergies between different tiles. My one feedback: I wish there was a way to peek at the tiles I've already placed when choosing which of the three new tiles to add...though perhaps that extra cognitive load is intentional?

ranarh 2025-10-10 02:49

I am as impressed by this as my fellow players. Great job on the polish, UI and assets. I wish I had a team as large as yours, I saw one of your artist even made a devlog just for their part of this game! Looking forward to your future works!

lianyi 2025-10-10 05:56

As a work for the extreme development competition, it is way too complete! That's amazing! I really love your works!

chipenable 2025-10-10 13:23

An interesting interpretation of the theme. It turned out nice and captivating

iovorobiev 2025-10-10 21:36

I played it on stream, but due to a timelimit I had to stop at season 1. I played it offstream now and finished it and I think the more I played the more I enjoyed. I want a different difficulty level now to put a bit more effort into my strategy, make thematic rooms (I only realised I can do this in season 3 or 4) and see how many points I can get. Want to start a new game + :)

The game is incredibly smooth and pleasant to play, everything from sound to graphics - well done. I wish I had this game on my mobile or switch so I can chill with it in my bed :)

custodi 2025-10-11 00:56

Great idea about the museum exhibits! I didn't immediately realize that additional rooms would be opened later. The rating formula isn't entirely clear.

asieke 2025-10-14 08:13

Fun game! Really enjoyed trying to plan out the placements!

thomas-bringer 2025-10-18 15:30

Wow! The game felt very polished, with a great UX and UI, smooth UI animations. Graphics looked really cool!

rosypenguin 2025-10-18 20:22

Some insane amount of polish here, especially with the UI transitions and feedback. I feel like there's something missing in the gameplay loop, like maybe giving the player the action to expand new wings of the museum or some kind of currency/upgrades. But overall massive kudos for how much was accomplished by your team!

kalbshack 2025-10-22 15:34

Great game, trying to squeeze everything together so it fits, Good work.

jesus-gonzalez 2025-10-22 15:36

Insanely polished, almost to full mobile release levels. Gameplay is deep, intuitive, fun. Loved the Death Stranding inspiration and the Floating Islands artifact.

vvartism 2025-10-24 10:45

What a lovely concept! Great visuals and sound. I want a full fledged tycoon out of this, keep it up!
