I tried to play but I couldn't get through the first access door. The switch opened the door but even when crouching I couldn't fit through :(

Very cool game! I found the box packing to be more tedious than fun, the physics made it slow and frustrating. The atmosphere was really though, I was on edge a waiting for something to jump out. I also think it would have been good to have time queue that I had to look around more to find boxes, I spent a lot of time on day four looking around only in the warehouse for the last box and was starting to think it was bugged
I like the visuals and the music!
I loved this! Combat was fun, enemies were cool and I loved the cheese and bacon
Very innovative! I kept breaking the finger off though lol
Love the art style and the play on the theme, very cleaver. I did find it a bit confusing which shells I can and can't fit into. I didn't find a single shell I could fit so I kind of just tried to kill stuff and eat hamburgers before I got picked up by the seagull lol Still very fun though
Love the range of enemies you guys were able to make in such short time. Very fun!
This was really funny! Loved the art and the little characters!
This game is amazing! I was able to get in a match against my friend and we had a great time playing Music is amazing, visuals are great, gameplay was fun I really felt like a pro bender
Very challenging, clearly my brain isn't big enough I like the music and the visuals a lot, feels very polished. Great job guys
Very cool idea, I did find the controls pretty difficult though. losing tension on the leash when the dog got to the fence was frustrating. There was also almost no reason to use the regular bark, it didn't push them back enough to give you time to get away from the walls and then get tension on the leash
@diego-teran Haha, really glad you want through the all of that for us. Hope you enjoyed the game play too!
@frodob4884 Glad you liked it! I probably burnt half a day alone on the shadow effects 😅
@spike-studio In the most recent build we included mouse and keyboard support!
really nice game, very challenging and unique Took me a second to realize I was throwing the floor tiles. It's a really cool concept!
Love the idea, it's really fun to play and really well made!
Super fun! I love the characters!
Super fun, I love how it looks like it's on an old CRT
Very cool concept and very polished game! I think you could have done more with the map design and play around more with that the character can do without all of the movement keys. You're kind of forced to go a specific path to get the keys and don't spend much time limited by what you don't have. Very great entry, I'd love to see this expanded upon.
Very fun, at first I thought I was having fun going around and eating all of the food before I realized I was supposed to dodge them lol
My homie crushed all of the opponents on my second play Very fun game!
Love the art style!
@art-Man-Oil thanks for the feedback! Yeah I wish we had more time to spend on the visual but the programming took the majority of our time
@breadstick Glad you liked the game. You perfectly picked up on both of our inspirations for the game. You can skip the tutorial if you hit the start button on the menu rather than the tutorial button
@your Thank you for your feedback, sorry to hear you had issues with the speech to text
Pretty cool, I really liked the graphics I also got stuck with the mini game on my screen like others
@thechadrampage Thanks for the feedback! We had plans for an AOE or ranged attack on right click but unfortunately didn't make the cut
You knocked this out of the park Loved the repetitive aspect of it, really drove the message home
This was super fun! Great job guys!
Super cute, super fun very nice job!
Really love the art style! the main mechanic was interesting and the level of difficulty was good!
Super cool game! graphic look amazing and concept is really fun. Unfortunately I was too bad at the game once adding more things to manage after the tutorial
Insane that you guys made a game for the Sega Master, I didn't setup the emulator to play it, but I'd love to give you guys a rating if you upload a video so people can see it!
@samuli Haha amazing!! thanks for posting the video! I love the music and the sound effects! I'm amazed that you guys were able to make this in 72hrs Great job
Dude this is awesome! I can totally see this being on the app store or something. I am god awful at it though lol  I really like the music and the sounds too, feels very retro
Really cool game, I think the compass led me astray though, I ended up back at the surface trying to find the next chest. Very impressive for three days, Controls were easy, but I think you should be able to tilt the nose of the submarine to follow the mouse so you can look down and gradually descend
absolutely popped off as cat mcmathy Screenshot 2025-04-12 023419.png
Visuals and sound are astonishing! Very cozy and relaxing game. I couldn't figure out how to beat the game though . I think I got all the good teeth, but nothing seemed to happen. Maybe some more visual feedback for when a tooth still needs to be cleaned? Or maybe the audio cue changes when the tooth is clean?
Loved the vibe, Graphics were really nice. I liked the line that goes down the screen like a CRT TV.
Noice
I love the switching to the sketch layer, that's hilarious! And the commentary in the back in the sketch layer LOL My one piece of feedback is since you ran out of time to make more layers it might have been nice to make the layer switching a toggle to make it easier to switch back a forth between layers. Although that would have made it easier so
Love the design of the character, so cute. it really reminded my of the game Temple of the Mask, but you added lots of additional features! Great job!
Crazy that you guys did all this within the time of the jam. Wasn't expecting a shop with upgrades and everything. Long term I think you'd need to expand on weather conditions are other things to make the game more difficult, the loop got pretty stale by the third day, especially with some upgrades under your belt. That being said I had a lot of fun with this, and I audibly gasped the first time I ran over a diver
I really like the music and the visuals. The sound of the blocks breaking was also really satisfying. I think you need to slow the pace of the game down a lot. it was really cool but I progressed really fast and mined the whole map in a few minutes
@mateusboga ohh that makes sense lol! My dwarves were moving way faster than in the video
The art style is amazing, I love the animations and the sfx. So many awesome little details! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get past sending a letter lol. Every time I tried if got an invalid address response.
I was typing #622 depth 2. I also ran into a bug one of the times where when trying to open the letter that came in I got the prompt to select my message again and I got soft locked and couldn't interact with anything again.
I'd love to see a full game from you guys. love the art
I KNEW THE KEYS WOULD BE AT THE BOTTOM I hope you know I started playing this on my lunch and accidently went over time  Super great game guys, perfect for the jam! Every gripe I had about it went away the longer I played. I don't even know what feedback to give lol, I think you nailed what you were trying to make.
Mechanics felt really solid! I wish there was some more variation in the enemies though. When you perfectly timed burrowing to miss the bullets it felt really good!
Really love the atmosphere, music is super creepy! I think you should add a crosshair so you can see easier where the harpoon is going to shoot. The fish were quite hard to hit. Also maybe somewhere in the HUD that shows what resources I collected so I don't need to pull up the upgrade menu
great work
Love the visuals! Concept is really cool too! My one piece of feedback is to make the rope attach/unattach buttons different than the jump button, a couple times I went to jump I took the rope with me LOL
Just like the mobile ads lol, I've seen these types of games a million times, but never played one.
I think you need some more visuals or explanation on how the game works I was very confused for a bit as to why the smoke kept appearing before I realized it was because of the grates on the ground. I still don't know how to get past the jump portion without losing like 3-4 dudes.
Yoo this was so awesome!! Genuinely don't know how you match the rhythm of the music to the gameplay so well! It felt so good to play! Really reminds me of something like Crypt of the Necrodancer! You guys gotta tell me how the music works . One of the best ones I've played on here honestly
I think you need to limit how many times I can start the wave  Untitled.png
I love tower defense games so this was right up my alley. I really like the graphics and the audio! I think the scaling needs some work though. I was able to clear every wave quite easy, not sure how many levels there are but I play to level 12
I thought I was doing really well... until BEEG and came Untitled-1.png
You guys cooked on this, this game was amazing!! only thing I can really complain about is that sudden surge in difficulty, but that's probably a skill issue
Would be really fun as a full game with multiple levels! Untitled-2.png
This is easily my favorite game of the jam so far This was more fun than most of those clicker games out there. My trampoline didn't launch a single gnome into the well I don't think lol, and most of them got knocked out by the gems and coins flying out, I think if you resolved these issues, and made it easier to keep up with collecting the coins this game would be even better!
super cute game! I love seeing fellow Unreal games on here, glad you're getting lots of exposure! I think it might be better if the station was cleaned after each customer. While it was funny how thigs got messier after each customer it was frustrating that the chocolate buildup would make the next orders waffles slide off  Also I don't know if it was a bug but the waffle cooking was really fast, if you double clicked the waffle maker a full waffle was ready instantly.
Keep up the good work though! loved it!
This was really well done, amazing that you implemented so many enemy types for this. really cool that you had you fight yourself at the end! The fights did feel a bit easy just leading the boss' down the hallway and shooting. Maybe make the battle spaces larger and lock the player in there with the boss?
Great work!
Love seeing other Unreal Devs on here!
Reminds me the star wars trench run! I had to crack out the controller for this one. Controls play so much better on gamepad! I had a lot of fun with this one but I couldn't get past the 4th level lol. Definitely a skill issue
I think the controls could still use some tweaking, The turning was very sudden, too fast for most of the course, but then still not enough for some of the tighter corners. I think it would feel a lot better if you spaced things out a bit more and then had the turn towards the desired direction by every tick by a small amount. Increase that amount depending on how far the user is pressing the stick. That way the user can make smaller adjustments because I found myself just tapping the stick to turn rather than holding it down.
That being said, really awesome job guys!
Also, you have to let me know how you did your tunnels. Was it procedural, or did you manually lay it out using a tile set? Similar kind of environment to my game so I'm curious
Love seeing other UE devs on here! This game blew my mind! Visually, mechanically, audibly, everything was sound! The puzzles were challenging, but fair. Felt really good for an introduction, I'd love to see what kind of puzzles you guys would come up with with more time!
There was a few bugs with clipping through the walls, but I can't say much, you should see how much you clip through the walls in my game
Amazing job guys!
@wheelsx Yeah the controls are something that we tweaked a lot trying to find the sweet spot where the game is still difficult, but fun. Glad you enjoyed though!
@flinge Yeah, thanks for pointing this out. We faced a ton of issues with physics. Turns out when you accelerate a physics body really fast and then throw it at a wall things tend to break lol. Unfortunately this wasn't something we were able to fully resolve by the deadline.
@aveezavr Thanks for the comment! Yeah I really wish we could have fixed all the collision bugs. The calculations are tied to framerate so at lower frames the game has a harder time detecting collisions.
@neeck-kola Thanks for your feedback, yeah I did turn CCD on for the goblin mesh. I increased the size of the physics object capsules and a few other things which helped a lot, but I haven't been able to kick the problem entirely. It seems when you launch a ragdoll mach 1 into a wall it still has trouble calculating collision . The issue is a lot more common at lower frames due to less calculations as well.
If you have any other ideas please let me know!
@jona-scheidig DUCKDEPF in the chat?? Your game is popping off dude! So glad you liked our game! I'm lowkey jealous of how much more attention your game is getting
@erafion Thanks for the feedback! We were going for a more chaotic approach to the controls creating more funny moments where the goblin smacks into walls and ragdolls around. Will take this into account though, we thought about adding upgrades which would let the player level up control and bounciness etc...
@floppynub Hey thanks for the feedback! Yeah the camera clipping is really annoying. We have the camera on a springarm before but it also didn't play well as it hitting walls often pushed the camera into the character mesh. Same issue, different outcome. I hope to find a different solution the issue.
As for the karma, guess I have to spend more time reviewing games, I thought I was doing okay but 170 is crazy! Guess I'm slacking
@oxnh Thanks for the feedback, I know exactly what rock you're talking about . That one always gets me too. Did you play on the patch version or the jam version btw? wondering if we still have more work to do on the clipping issues.
@empyreans haha glad you enjoyed! Did you get your goblin to the gold at the end of the mine? I'm sure that would make him much happier!
@ty-victorson Glad you enjoyed! Yeah the back half is tough. Need to hit a really good launch or you quickly lose momentum.
@pandalk We had a lot of issues with the character clipping out of the map, we pushed a patch that greatly reduces how much this happens. Glad you liked the game regardless :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
@jorgen A patch is available on the itch page that fixes this issue
@kujoen Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I get about the same load on my 3090 and about 30% on my CPU. While performance wasn't our main concern during the 72 hours of the jam, the game should be relatively light weight. I'm not sure if the issues are mainly caused by the engine, but regardless I am doing a ton of optimization for the game to try and bring those numbers down.
Glad you enjoyed what you did play of the game though.
Also I love the profile picture.
@jag Thanks so much for the feedback! I am working on a full version of the game so all of this will be taken into account!
Really cool idea! I think some sound effects and some more visuals would really help here. I will say as somebody who is color blind I had a hard time playing this though, It took me a few tries before I was able to connect which sushi went with which icon lol. Still cool though, great job!
This came scratched an itch in my brain I didn't know I had LOL the visuals and sound were so nice. The sound of picking up and depositing items.. Beautiful I think you need to tweak the progression scaling though. I really wanted to see the end, but as a jam game with no way to save, it took too long and I ran out of time to keep playing. For a full game though I'm sure the the progression would be fine. My other tweak would be to make the cooldown on the enemy attack longer, and make them stand still for a sec, once those guys got on you it was basically game over. Cheers
Super fun idea! I'm really curious to see if you added a cutscene to the end but idk if I'll ever make it there to find out lol
I really like the controls. controlling the character felt difficult but fair, and the harpoon felt really good. The audio was also really well done! I did find it really dark though, I got an upgrade for the diver light, but I couldn't see anything still.
Great work
One of the most frustrating games on here. When the dwarf slid down the slope and into the lava after the third checkpoint I had to close the game  I love the game though, really fun concept, and quite challenging. Reminded me of the pogo guy from Happy Wheels.
Really great job
Really awesome job! This was difficult and fun! I agree with others feedback on there, the fall damage does feel a bit punishing. The hook mechanic could also use some work, a lot of the time it felt like the hook didn't attach when it should have, and sometimes the hook attached to something way further than it should have.
Small bits of feedback though, otherwise I really enjoyed it.
Very nice, the graphics were really nice. The art direction was really cool. I kinda wish you could move down on the screen though as well without using the dash
Damn you guys cooked on this one This feels like a full game I'd get on the app store :video_game:, really impressive you did this in 72 hours My one comment is that I wish it was faster to restart after you die, waiting for the heartbeats after each death felt frustrating when the gameplay is so quick
Very nice! love the art style. The sea urchin things can be quite hard to see if they have their spikes out, might need more variation between them and the tiles
I really like the mechanics of the climbing. The atmosphere was very eerie and fit the game well. Great work
Love this take on a dropper style game! super funny, the commentary is hilarious. One thing I might add is some sort of visual indication of where the player is in the Z space. Sometimes it's a bit hard to tell how far/close an object is from you. Maybe some post process effect to blur or distort objects further from the player would have been cool!
Love the art style, I think you captured that PS1 graphic better than we did in our game. I was confused though about how to play the game. I was kind of aimlessly pressing the buttons
Really cool game Love the style I wasn't sure how to get to the end though, felt like I just kept feeding him forever
The visuals are really nice. A full tower defense in the 2.5D perspective with a cozy art style like this would be really nice! I think you should tilt the sprites back a little to face the camera more and be less perpendicular to the ground so we can see the nice art better!
Cheers :v:
Super cute game! three felt like the perfect amount of levels. I think adding a dash ability would have been really cool for those really right moments. It would have been really cool if you had added reverb and muffled the sound effects to make it sound more underwater. The art was really nice!
Really cool! Great job on all of the assets! I love the UX, feels very polished. I did find a bug where I couldn't place an object because there was no room left, and I had no option from what I can tell to pick a different object so I had to refresh the page. It would have been super cool to get to watch the guests walk through the museum if you had more time to work on the game.
so funny! amazing job!!
I love the silly character animations!
fives across the board, this game was super sick. I was very invested in the story and disappointed that it's not finished. I love the art style!
This game was super cool and unique! I really like the art style and the music
Love it, scratching the itch of ripping some packs! Really impressive that you made that many unique cards for the jam! I couldn't get the card codes to copy to my clipboard for some reason, and eventually ran out of packs to rip so I got stuck but I really wanted to finish my collection
I really like the aesthetic. I'm not sure if I didn't play long enough to upgrade but the fear went up really fast and felt too limiting. I also kept teleporting around for some reason with made it almost unplayable
Controls feel really nice! Art style is awesome!
Fairly polished entry! The idea was well executed on and interesting. The controls were a bit difficult, especially on MnK. Vehicle could be a bit easier to control.
I'm not actually sure how I was supposed to get money, I took pictures of different things and then when I found the helicopter it said I got $0.
I ate, I pooped, and I loved
Love this submission. Me and my girlfriend died laughing the first time I held down the spacebar
I really like Shoopert. I was confused about the goals of the game however. The art style was nice, I love the hand drawn assets.
I'm a bee in real life! Super cute game, I love the concept. You probably had it planned, but it would have BEEn awesome to see some progression and be able to hire different types of bees!
Pretty polished game! I know it was intended to be this way, but I found it quite difficult to control the character without being able to adjust movement in the air. I like the little guy, too
I love the atmosphere, I didn't make it to the cows that everybody has screenshotted but the game was cool. Good job
