To be honest, the game is pretty weird. I don't really understand how to collect the coins and flowers. Also, the camera isn't very user-friendly.
I do enjoy dungeon crawling, and I like the upgrades you came up with. As Mekuire pointed out, the camera is a bit rough, making those 90 degree turns instantly.
The enemy designs were cool, both mechanically and visually. I like how some enemies have lots of range, or they slide around like that dragon.
I think this game could have benefited from a defined win condition. I looped around to room 1 again, but it's not like a menu popped up saying "You Won!"... I just got to keep going until I decided to stop. Or perhaps there is a win condition and I didn't make it there yet.
Here's my recorded playthrough:

@100th-coin bro, you're brutally quick :DD Yeah, the levels loop around. Was getting a bit impatient and couldn't really commit on a narrative, and haven't yet coded procedural generation for an endless mode. But the shoop! They eat stuff and they poop! I think that is quite marvellous on its own, to be honest! Thank you so much for playing u_u
I didn’t quite understand the goals. The doors appeared, and I moved on to the next level, but I didn’t really get the main idea.
Actually movement was fun. I can go through the game as fast as i want, as long i can understand changes in the environment. i didnt fully understand the combat mechanics, but still, it was interesting. Thank you for your game!
Cool entry, liked the hand drawn art. Sfx are hella creepy nicely done^^
This game is soooo well done!!! I love the gameplay, upgrades feel very nice. At first I didn't know what to do, but after some time, I spend really great time with this game!!!
love the enemy drawings
I really like Shoopert. I was confused about the goals of the game however. The art style was nice, I love the hand drawn assets.
Overall, the gameplay is really solid and enjoyable! Just a few suggestions for polish: adding some sound effects when picking up items and a global background would really enhance the atmosphere. Also, implementing a subtle fade-in/out transition when rotating the camera with WASD would make the experience feel much smoother and less abrupt. Great work!
Looks cool, I love 2.5D. It is a bit hardcore, especially the boss. But it plays fun. The only thing is that I would move the advance button from Enter somewhere closer to the left hand
I love the art style and audio effects. Gameplay was fun, but it was quite hard to see what was in front of you when player character was hiding the whole front square which made the experience more annoying than it could have been.
I like the inspiration for this game both visually and mechanically. The imagery fits the tone you are going for and all of the 2d "paper" art looks right in this almost board game map environment. Of course the use of voice acting in reverse is also a nice touch. A lot of times i was able to run straight to the end and avoid power ups or other interactions but I was definitely punished when fish was around with a bunch of other enemies and i had no plan lol.

Always great to see a classic entry from ya.
Looking forward to seeing where you might take this!
Great idea! I really like your style and the way you create artwork by hand, but it's pretty difficult to progress through the game without toggling the camera.
Interesting idea, cool vibe, but needs sound.
pretty creepy between the art, the sound, the masks, and the camera perspective. i didn't really understand what to do or why i was doing it but it was quite intriguing.
I like that it's 3D with 2D sprites and the dungeon crawler feels great. Music gets a little repetative after a while but quite atmospheric. Overall a fun experience!
