Awesome game! Really like the simple graphics style and the game very nicely fits the theme. Did find some parts quite challenging. Great job!

Awesome game! Really like the simple graphics style and the game very nicely fits the theme. Did find some parts quite challenging. Great job!
Cool little realtime puzzle game. I did a nice satisfying sound when collecting a coin though!
Like the art style. Perhaps something like blocking while trying to move into a cage with a wall would be nice. Thanks for your job.
Pretty fum
Really cute, feels like something you'd play on your mobile phone, in the sense that it's not too challenging and it's very replayable :)
One thing that could help the game feel is to reduce the cooldown between each movement, so that it's closer to the speed of the player's natural button pressing (if that makes sense?). It felt like I died a few times because I pressed it too early and got punished for it, which is fine but it can be a little bit frustrating to be slowed down like that
Neat game otherwise!
Really nicely arranged! Think I saw pretty much all of the possible bits of level - Nice gameplay loop that kept me going, I probably did around 30 runs. Great pixel art too! The main character has a nice swagger :) And the simple black and white aesthetic was effective, only note is that the red color is cool is quite dark so it's hard to when the sea urchins are active or not. Great effort!
Cool little game, with simple and clear graphics. These enemies with spikes are something, very challenging
Very fun and polished game! The controls were smooth and the varierty of challanges was really impressive. The part with the narrow path were a fireball shoots upwards felt a bit unfair tough. I made it to 80 after around 15 attempts
Very atmospheric
Nice, I really liked the rnd element. Graphics and theme are excellent. As a sound guy i would increase sound level, compered to other games it's very quiet.
Classic great game that reminds me of Redungeon.
Great example of a simple concept done well. Graphics fit the theme of the game, although I'd say that with the sea urchin enemies it's quite hard to see clearly when their spikes are out. Other than that, really good entry!
Very nice game! The graphics are simple and cute, and the gameplay is smooth and enjoyable, very challenging at times, but in a good way, nice work!
Actually very fun and challenging. Graphics were simple but looked great and I liked the ever changing levels, which give it some nice variety and kept it interesting. My record was sadly only 37 but I played about 30 rounds of it lol
nice controls :)
This is addictive! My record was 67 - I think the approaching death needs to be a little bit clearer but otherwise this is excellent
Very challenging and addictive gameplay here, the art is simple but pretty cozy!
Fun, challenging lil' game. For some reason I have slight weird input delay which makes it a bit more annoying, but nevertheless it's still fun ^^
Cute game! Really good on the procedural generation. Art was minimal but worked just fine. In terms of controls, since it's directions only I'd have like to play with arrow keys instead. Projectile hitboxes felt very unforgiving and made for some frustrating deaths. Overall well made on a game that feels rather complete!
Nice game, art worked well even though it was minimalistic, but think the contrast could be boosted on for example the spikes. They are a bit difficult to see and the timing needed is quite precise.
Art is great, the idea over all is really cool. One thing I'd change would be to better indicate when the "spikes" are active.
Nice approach to the theme and I dig the minimalist art style! Game was really challenging for me I couldn't get past 45.. Great job with the procedural generation, each game is different and I ended up replaying many times to explore different level setup. Really impressive work. Well done!
The minimalistic artstyle is great.
The feedback for getting hit by a flame for example didn't feel impactful. A little animation with a sound would improve it.
I liked that you shuffled the map sections after deaths, so it wasn't repetativ. The sections were nicely designed. I had fun playing this game. :)
Nice concept! The randomized obstacles led to a few difficulty spikes, but the art is very charming.
I like it! the graphic style is really nice and cohesive! Sometimes I lost because i kinda expected the enemies to move in the same way that the player does, by jumping from position A to B in a snappy way, but this got less common with as I improved in it! Great game
super good looks very nice, very nice sounds, very nice control WW
Simple concept but so efficient ! I had a really good time on this game, really nice arts and level design. I love how each level blocks fits perfectly together on procedural generation. Good job !
neat lil game, didn't load on ldjam.com so i went to itch and it worked fine. controls are super responsive and that's a good thing because yikes it gets hairy fast.
I'm really really bad at this game haha I love the aesthetics you went with. You made good choices with the music and sfx, they work well with the game. The gameplay is very solid, easy to understand, levels are cool, everything is working well and smoothly. A great experience!
Ok, so I liked the game, it's simple, yet effective. I just think it needs a little tweaking here and there.
It happened to me a couple of times that I was pressing the move button faster than the diver movements, and made me missclick moving to the side and ending up losing in a silly yet frustrating way. Just because the diver didn't move on my last button press. It's hard to explain.
I just wished the diver movement didn't have that delay, since you are in a rush, it can be a little frustrating.
I like this vibe of old arcade games like pac-man and this game reminded me of this vibe. Great music, good level design, simple but no less interesting mechanics. Great job!!!
really cute game! i like the art style and the retro feel. cool idea, overall a great job!
simple and fun game I can sink hours into
Simple and nice game and good feel and I liked the map generation. I got to 27-ish, god damn those mines
Good game! I really like the simple graphics of the old arcade machines. Some parts seemed very difficult. Anyway, it's a great job!
A very nice little game. A little music / sound effect would make it better
Really nice gameplay, the mechanics hooks me and those graphics makes me immerse on the game! Excelent job friends!
Really fun and well put together game. I immediately clocked this one I'd need to focus because it'd be challenging. I really love the random generation, and how each prefab section has a nice level of challenge, and is solved each in their own unique way. Really fun levels, cool enemies with fun interactions that are designed well.

So I was enjoying playing this game fast. I personally feel like the level design + the movement draws you towards that. Once you get familiar with each level section, it makes you want to almost do it automatically, with muscle memory and flow. Of course, this is not the actual goal of the game, which instead is to collect coins, encouraging a more methodical way of proceeding.
However, the mechanic of instant death when you hit a wall totally limits that. I don't think that's a bad thing objectively. But to someone playing patient/methodical, it's rarely a hazard. Whereas if you speed up a bit you will die frequently. It feels like it just slows you down for no reason.
This wouldn't apply if you had only some of the sections with this hazard, and some without. When you have moments of "this is instant death, not a wall", it enhances that sense of danger, and gets the player to lock in regardless of experience. I think it'd be an enhancement for both types of players.
Again, with the goal of the game, it's clear the intention is not to support this fast/reckless way of playing. But as someone who enjoys those kind of games, I think so much about this game makes that quite enjoyable.

I liked the graphics and all, game looks great, super stylish. I love how all the enemies look, the terrain in particular I think is cool too. Well done on making a game feel like deep ocean without the color blue! No complaints there I think it's awesome
The music I think is wonderful. Love that bass that comes in, and the synth + drums reminds me of my favorite water level songs. All very excellent there, super watery song, very enjoyable.
For the sound fx, I wish there were just two more sounds, coin pickup and death. Coin pickup especially. It's what the game is all about! Crucial bit of feedback there. Slightly less important for death but still noticeably missing. Honestly, I might argue it'd be better to use the "move" sound effect for coin pickups instead. But the sound as it is does definitely give good feedback to the player.
Overall well done, this was such a fun game to play, and I was super impressed by the effective level design and dynamic gameplay. Very well put together artistically, which alone supports the Depths theme. Great work to the both of you!
That was amazing! Playing this game really reminded me of the classic Flash game "World's Hardest Game." The music fit the vibe perfectly and added to the experience. I also loved the adorable black and white art style—super charming! Keep up the great work!
Every time i died it felt like i was on a different level! Very cool, lots of depth in the game :D
I like that despite dying so easily, it jumps you right back in. Gives me a certain arcade-y vibe for trying to go far in progression.
This is a really cool game! Moving along the grid makes it precise and interesting but the timing elements help to keep it intense. I love the thematic note of staying inside the bubbles to stay alive. The coins add an interesting push your luck element that encourage you to get into dangerous situations. The level also right in the sweet spot for me - it adds tons of variety but still feels hand authored. Incredible entry, thank you for making it!
nice) The darkness covers me by accident))))
This was really challenging! I managed to score 104. Is the game truly "endless" ?
The spiky things were my worst enemies. Maybe if the music had beats in sync with them, it would help people like me haha
My main frustration was that your character has instant tile based movement, but not the enemies. So, I would often die by hitting the enemies' back (because I didn't wait long enough for them to completely leave their tile while following them).
Hard. Just hard! I'm not hard enough *haha.
Good game! I like the that it's fast and everytime new.
Tight little arcade gem! The procedural level design, fast restarts, and simple visuals work really well together. Just needs a few polish touches like clearer spike timing and coin pickup sounds to make it really pop. Super fun and addictive! My record was 65 :)
i like the art style and the game was simple to understand.
Straightforward game very well executed. I like the camera movements and how you're throw right back into action quickly. The artstyle is great! All the different level designs work very well and the different challenges are interesting (i especially like that you can go outside the map but you drown after a while, that's a cool twist!).
There was a surprising amount of variation in the levels given how quickly this was made, well done!
Simple but solid game. I appreciate that the procedural generation let you get practice on different sections instead of always starting with the same one. Visuals were minimal but effective, and I like how ominous the encroaching dark felt. Controls did feel a bit delayed when trying to move fast. But pretty fun regardless. Nice work!
Cute game, nice concept, really good graphics. The response time was sometimes a bit long. But i really loved the concept of having to escape the abyss. One of my favorite submissions so fat, GG !
Cool art style, and game design has deep potential. But i'd recommend to change sprites of hedgehog fish, cuz they aren't really visually readable. And, it is little detail, but very annoying - please, add repeat button input on keyboard's keys.
Very cool! I love games with 1-bit aesthetics. Simple and challenging. I had some problems with the hitboxes, but with practice I managed to improve.
Congratulations!
Very nice! love the art style. The sea urchin things can be quite hard to see if they have their spikes out, might need more variation between them and the tiles
love this game so much!!!!!this game art and mood is so great!!!I really wish to buy some upgrade use those coins I get
Simple and challenging, it was pretty fun to dodge the fish and it all looks super cute. Kind of annoying that you die if you walk outside of the stage because youre trying to be fast to move around, but I guess that just adds to the skill of the game. I like that the levels changes when you die too, so its not just the same thing over and over. Nice job ^^
Not much too add, really impressive procedural generation!
