A Quest To Bear by Fis 2025-04-08T17:37:36Z

This is so polished! The mechanics are unique and combine together to make really interesting puzzles. I like how placing the rocks adds a small timing element that bumps up the intensity of the moment-to-moment gameplay. The sound design and little feedback animations all make it feel great to play. Great entry, thanks for making it!

Mush Rush by mcovert 2025-04-09T08:25:27Z

I got to 2576! I really liked this. The combos between the cards were really fun to figure out, and there were a couple a-ha moments that made me laugh (the doublers double negatives!!). Working your way deeper down the board was a cool interpretation of the theme mechanically, and the mushrooms were a really cute visual interpretation. It was a really nice balance of improv and planning that tickled my brain. Great entry, thank you for making it!!

Blind Depths by DeadCode 2025-04-08T17:25:22Z

Immaculate vibes. I absolutely adore the particle system for the walls the brightens and dims with the radar, its so clever and appealing. The sound design is really atmospheric and pulls you in which is great for the jumps. Great entry, thank you for making it!

Piranha Frenzy by mremmele 2025-04-08T11:01:39Z

This is a game-ass game! The pixel art is gorgeous with very smooth animation, and the music is a bop. I love how the extra piranhas organize themselves into a school as you pick them up. How they act as both your health bar and your attack strength without requiring extra UI is very clever. The game was nice and challenging and reveals extra depth as you get deeper. Awesome that you made it in your own engine too! Great entry, thanks for making it!

Cheese is the Reason by AXLplosion 2025-04-08T08:30:59Z

The vibes are immaculate, I'm moving to rat city. I adore the style, the dithering effect is used to well to create a grungy atmosphere and all of the characters are really charming. Still waiting to hear the joke from Sand though. Incredible work, thank you for making it!!

Heavy Anhinga by Koolruz 2025-04-08T17:44:28Z

This is one of my favorite entries so far! The movement is so unique and satisfying, you don't even notice you're in a tutorial, and the switch to the theme is really cute and cool. I adore the animation, how do you make those 4 pixels so squishy!? Thanks for making this, I had a blast :)

FORMIDRILL by Revetoon 2025-04-09T09:49:23Z

Such a sick game! It was beautifully tutorialised - I was immediately immersed in the gameplay and new mechanics were trickled at the perfect time. I love how the intensity begins to crank up as eggs, guns, cooler, etc are introduced. The animations, writing, and music, are all really charming and I think this is a great take on the theme. Incredible submission, thank you for making it!

Vanity Check by NoNumbersGames 2025-04-08T11:26:42Z

I didn't wanna chill with sloth so they farted on me and almost drove me insane. I ate a pill and felt better, but I did hear sloth farting for the rest of the game. That is the kind of emergent narrative I want in my games!! This was a really cool entry. The character art combined with the background and music created a really weird atmosphere that was cool to explore. The unique music for each character was a nice touch. A lot of the dialogue made me laugh too. Great work, thank you for making it!

Eurydive! by Jack Turpitt 2025-04-08T13:21:43Z

@nonumbersgames Don't worry, everyone goes to hades! All of the characters are morally respectable.

The Way We Left, by Elien Pathcarver by alyd asmar 2025-04-08T08:44:09Z

I really like this! The soundtrack is so cool, I love how it evolves really slowly as you work your way through the scroll and adapts to the intensity of the scenes playing out. The game also does really interesting things with the structure, I thought the labyrinth section wasinteresting and I like how it leaves large gaps of whitespace to build moments of tension. The way the impact of the choices ebbs and flows from tiny character moments to large impactful decisions is satisfying. The world building and story were really intriguing and pulled me through!

This is a great piece of work! Thank you for making it!

Fish Photography by Turquoise Moon 2025-04-09T12:26:29Z

I really enjoyed this game :) I like how it was able to create a bit of a challenge (the fastfish) without a lot of conflict. It was very relaxing hanging out with the fishies, would love to see more! Great entry, thanks for making it :)

Turtle slide by Ansible 2025-04-08T14:46:17Z

This is really sick. The way that the wall bounce and ramp sliding seem like an obstacle at the start and slowly turn into tools is so cool. I adore the bombastic art style, it reminds me of a pixel version of parappa the rappa. Great entry, thank you for making it!

Cave Hunter by GeoBlackrU 2025-04-09T08:14:49Z

I really like the gameplay loop! Its intuitive to pickup and sucked me in straight away. The floaty jump mechanics made it fun to explore the caves, and the way that enemies can be spawned in huge groups made for a really exciting experience. Love the music too, atmospheric and intense! Great entry, thanks for making it!

Helldriver 2 by oxnh 2025-04-11T13:37:52Z

I love the premise hahaha the voice acting in the beginning is exceptional. The gameplays really engaging too - having to jump as well as block kept me locked in the whole time during my runs. Music BANGS too. Great entry, thanks for making it!!

Unstable Worlds by Vic ba 2025-04-08T11:18:01Z

Hey, just a heads up that I'm getting stuck at the unity loading screen on both itch.io and ldjam.com! I'm on a macbook using safari if that helps at all. Very keen to give this game a try, it looks really interesting!

The Deepest Descent by ssiannas 2025-04-10T13:02:18Z

This is sooooo sick. The art is all really gorgeous and cohesive, the way its all textured make it really appealing to look at. The music goes incredibly hard. The cooldown on the dodge roll gives the game a nice balance of reactions and tactics, and THE LEADERBOARD! Such a good idea, it just makes you want to play over and over again, especially in a jam where getting to number 1 is achievable. Incredible entry, thank you for making it!

Not Too Deep by Crak 2025-04-08T14:19:34Z

God what a perfect jam gam!! The art is deliciously gnarly, warioware-like pace of the levels keeps you locked in the whole way through, I laughed out loud at most of the levels, both failing and succeeding is fun, the sound effects are juicy. No notes! Great entry, thank you for making it :))

Endless Depth by Dywanix 2025-04-10T10:20:10Z

This is a really cool game! Moving along the grid makes it precise and interesting but the timing elements help to keep it intense. I love the thematic note of staying inside the bubbles to stay alive. The coins add an interesting push your luck element that encourage you to get into dangerous situations. The level also right in the sweet spot for me - it adds tons of variety but still feels hand authored. Incredible entry, thank you for making it!

BURIED by meylish 2025-04-08T20:25:48Z

Really cool game! The art creates a really interesting atmosphere, especially with the lighting. The rope physics make for unique gameplay too! Great entry, thanks for making it!!

IceCream So Cool by G8ite 2025-04-08T20:32:48Z

This is really cool! I love the hand drawn scanned art, it gives it such a unique aesthetic. It's very rewarding too! I got given 1000 worms :)

great entry, thanks for making it!!

Return from the Peak by JAMsBond 2025-04-08T08:21:21Z

This is a cool game! The intro section does a good job of slowly introducing mechanics. The light creates quite a nice atmosphere. There is a little bit of jankiness around certain collisions with spikes and curved slopes, but once I got onboard with the difficulty it just added to the charm. Great work!!

Mewnion café by yvaine 2025-04-08T11:14:12Z

This is a really sweet game! Taking your time to slow down and find the cats lets you drink in all the little details of the environment art. The music creates a really relaxing atmosphere. Having the paw prints lead you towards the cats makes you feel like a bit of a detective too. Great work on this entry, thank you for making it!

Devour by ScoobySnacks 2025-04-11T13:44:12Z

This is a really cool take on the theme! I especially loved how tactile a lot of the feedback was, fish sticking to you, your tongue (tentacle? finger?) growing larger, the fish sticking to you, etc. I also like how the tension builds slowly as you move your way from fish up the food chain to the boat. Really cool entry! Thanks for making it :)

Gobbo Steals a Drillship by Providence 2025-04-09T16:01:59Z

What a cool game! I like how tangible the physics makes everything. Picking up the coal and ball and throwing them felt really good. The sense of mystery around what the machine is and how to operate it was quite cool. I also adored the effect on the rooms fading in, it looks so cool. Great entry, thank you for making it!!

Depths Business by Anchous Blupblup 2025-04-08T15:02:11Z

This is such a great take on the theme and its incredible how the art, music, character design, and UI all build towards the central idea! I love all of the period details, especially tracking time by a candle. It gave me a similar feeling to pentiment. Great entry, thank you for making it!!

To The Core by izzqz 2025-04-08T17:13:57Z

This is a really cool entry! The illustrated backgrounds are such a nice touch and make the progression much more satisfying. The mechanic itself is a nice take on the theme. I'm a sucker for skins too. Great work!
