What a game... love the aesthetic, love the concept; would love to see it taken further. Only criticism is the lack of music (although this just highlights the authentic SFX) and the only way to quit the game seems to be alt+f4. Honestly, great job!
Really good graphics and fun to play. Movement and attacking feels a little floaty, would be nice to be able to move diagonally. Sound would also be a good addition but really good effort!
Nice simple game with a really fun gameplay loop, pretty difficult but I got some lucky spwans and peaked at 13 enemies killed
Really nice art style and funny character descriptions and interactions - lots of potential
Bit confusing when you first load up, could do with a menu and a description of what you need to do. Once you understand it though it has a nice gameplay loop. Graphics are good and it fits the theme really well.
@aidanbacon Appriciate the feedback!
As with most Game Jame games, the concept started off a little too ambitious and we ended up having to scrap most of the more 'fun' ideas that we initially had :joy:
There was supposed to be a feature where chaining furniture of the same room type next to each other would create a room that gave you a points multiplier, and the scroll speed was supposed to increase for every object placed to add more of a challenge but time got the better of us on that one!
Nice graphics and fun gameplay loop, movement feels really good too. Would be nice if there was a way to regain health and power ups or something but a really good simple game
Pretty fun to play but seems a little buggy, not sure if it's just me? The graphics are nice and interesting use of the Limited Space theme. Could do with some sound and maybe a tutorial level just to explain what's going on a bit
Graphics and sound are on point, agree with @katajisto that the gunplay is a bit off, feel like I should have hit a few of the shots that missed - really good concept though!
Fun and simple platformer, graphics fit the theme well, feels like a classic Newgrounds Flash game. Would be good if the moveable boxes had physics.
Really good concept, gets very complicated very quickly but still fun. Nice consistent art style that brings back a lot of that Windows XP nostalgia. Really good job!
Really good concept, but needs some work. Money doesn't seem to do really do anything and theres no way to improve anything from when you take your 1st job to taking your 100th. The graphics are nice and it fits the theme of limited space really well though. Overall good launching point for a game that could be potentially very fun if it was fleshed out more!
A few failed attempts before figuring out the idea, once I got the gist it was quite good. The small amount of voice acting really adds to the overall feel, the art is on point and overall just a solid little puzzle game :D
Really fun game, the art style is really cool and the CRT effect is great. I enjoyed the puzzles a lot but I think they ramped up in difficulty a bit too quickly, probably just my poor brain though! :joy: Good effort!
I like the concept, its a fun twist on the theme, I feel like the timer could be a bit more forgiving though  The graphics were really well done though and the movement felt really solid - Good job!
Interesting concept, I just feel like the execution could have been better. The character movement speed was very slow which made me not really want to play past the first few wolf fights. The art style was also a bit confusing, it would have been better to stick to either a full 3D world or the 2D sprites. I did love the sound though, "Sound Effect.Wav" made me actually laught out loud :joy: Keep it up!
Liked this a lot, managed to slay God on my first attempt. There might be some issuse with the precision on the harpoon, there were a few times I thought I should have hooked boxes when I didn't but that's the only complaint! Really nice art, the music and sound are good and it fits the theme!
Good concept, I like the pixel art style, but I think it could have been a bit more zoomed in so you can see them fully - I think some basic animations would also go a long way to improving the feel of the game. The music loop is good and I like the different summons you can do. Good job!
Really like this concept, I like the balancing of resources and trying to keep everyone happy at the same time. The art fits really well and the music loop/sound effects help build the world. You managed to get it quite feature complete as well which is difficult for this type of game in this time frame. I also liked that you went a different direction with the theme than most other people  Really good job!
Really good idea, but I think it would benefit from the environments and task being a bit more vaired, you can only make pressing E to pick something up fun for so long. The models were well made although I'm not sure why the old man was wearing a helemt :joy:
Really great game, not many LD games manage to get that much of a story in so good job there :D The graphics were really solid and the music/sounds were on point. Really fun to play and one I might have to come back to later because beating on Devin was so much fun!
Really great casual game, testing new combinations and unlocking frogs felt really good. The graphics were amazing and music/sound effects really helped build the mood. Really good job!
Not reading Russian really didn't help with understanding what to do here :joy: However the graphics were really well done and fit a consistant theme, managed to fumble around and summon a cat that jumped about randomly which was quite funny. The game did crash after a few minutes but all in all, good job!
@jo-bettaque Thanks for the feedback! In hindsight yeah, the summoning is a little unclear if you aren't the one thats programmed it! The controls on the LD page are more indepth than the tutorial in game so they might help to clear some things up :D Thanks for playing!
@mephistase Thanks for the feedback! We only implemeneted the continue, edit circle and learn buttons about 2 hours before the deadline so we knew there would be some bugs with it xD Thanks for playing!
@ecenizo Thanks for the feedback! Agreed, the gameplay is a bit confusing for first timers, we would have loved to add some more feedback for the play as to what was going on but time got away from us! Thanks for playing and check back in future for any updates!
@benjiehotwheels Thanks for the feedback! The lack of clear controls in game is one of the biggest flaws in the current version, the controls listed on the LD page are a lot more clear on how to play and what the objective is. Also adding some more feedback for the player like sound and other animations would help a lot in understanding what's happening! Thanks for playing!
@taximan981 Thanks for the feedback! The 'gameplay loop' of the game wasn't added in until very late on into the project so we just had to accept that there would be bugs xD Thanks for playing and check back in future for improvements!
@drgcandle Thank you for the feedback and thanks for playing!
@stowy Thanks for the feedback! The initial plan was that applying an element to a Minion would let the player attack with that type, there was also a planned shield mechanic, but unfortunately time got away from us there. Thanks for playing and be sure to check back for future updates!
@nickelfoolish Thanks for the feedback! The battles were supposed to be quicker with the planned player abilities but we had to settle for an autobattler xD Thanks for playing.
@shugor Thank you for the great feedback! Agreed that the lack of player input and feedback is an area that we could have given more attention to, and absolutely will next time . Thanks for playing and make sure to check back in future for updates!
@rexagon Thanks for the feedback! The initial game idea allowed the play to use elemental attacks based on what they had applied to their Minion, but unfortunately we didn't have time to fully implement it, the back end has a whole system for calculating elemental damage based on types but it sucks we didn't have chance to get it added in completely. Thanks for playing!
@bronino Thanks for the feedback and thank you so much for playing !
@bex2499 Thank you for the feedback! A lot of time was spent making sure the art felt consistent and fit the theme we were going for! Thanks for playing!
@gamesplusjames Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing!
@rugg Thanks for the feedback! Yeah we knew that the end battle buttons were going to be a bit buggy when clicking them too quickly, next time hopefully we'll have the gameplay finished before the deadline so we can squash some of the bugs! Thanks for playing!
@rokevicius Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately the game only supports 1920x1080, we would have liked to add support for other resolutions and aspect ratios but we just didn't have time. Thanks for playing!
@kallico Thanks for the feedback, if you've added all of your unlocked affixes in, you can't edit the circle until you have learned new affixes from the learn menu. We realised too late that we should have had a button to clear the circle! As long as you add at least one affix to the circle, your minion should be able to beat the first few enemies. Thanks for playing!
@kseniya Thanks for the feedback! For the next jam we’ll definitely focus on making things clear to the player so they can actually enjoy the game! Thanks for playing.
@nsadie @pacelin Thanks for the heads up on the file upload issue, should be all sorted now!
Cool game and concept, although I don't think I could see the aliens? My towers would occasionally just shoot at nothing :joy: Nice graphics and the sound was good, seems like a good game to take further! Great job!
Took me a second to realise I had to click the text on the screen to start xD but once I got started it all came together really well. Really good visual style, the gameplay is fun and ramps up in challenge nicely. Really solid job here, great work!
Nice graphics but the keyboard controls are a bit confusing, also I died while reading the intro text for the first time :joy: Liked the idea, I think it has potential
Nice little endless runner here, took me a few tries to get the hang of it but once it clicked it felt very natural. The art is fantastic and the animations a very well done, I think sound would have improved it a lot, even just a background loop. Really good job!
Bit confused on what the aim is? I read the how to play but couldn't get my head around it, other than that the graphics and summonin animation is really nicely done. Could have used some background music to make it more relaxing. Good effort!
Great idea of using the different summons to help with platforming! The art is really good too, all of the summons are really unique from each other. I feel like some sound would help build atmosphere, even just a basic music loop. Also the jump felt very 'floaty' and imprecise but other than that, great job!
Really fun concept, I like the idea of wandering around a hose clensing it of demons  I think the art was spot on but chould have used some sort of damage indicator to show how much health you have left? Other than that, really good job!
Really like the concept, but just a little too short for me. It would be great if this could be expanded across multiple days and collecting money depending on how good a job you do? I liked the distorted real world images, it's good to know there's even a Greggs in Hell :joy: Good job!
Really like the art style, the music loop didn't grate on me which is always a plus so good job there :joy: I was a bit confused on what the actual aim was? I drop about 6 birds into the summon circle but nothing seemed to change? Either way good job!
I like the concept but I didn't really get the gameplay? The number didn't seem to mean anything and random amounts were being taken from the people. I get what you were going for and it seems really interesting, the graphics and music help to build a nice consistent atmoshpere that works well. Good job!
Really good concept, the difficulty ramps up quickly so you have to git gud fast :joy: I spent most of the time summoning allies and running away than attacking. Graphics really nice and music/sound helps buils a good consistent theme. Well done!
Really like this game, I feel like this theme was ideal for an RTS style game. I liked the ability to design your own beetles rather than just having pre set attributes. Really good job!
Really fun, liked the Minecraft/Terraria gameplay and the progression with upgrades. Loved the art style and little bit bit of story in there. Really solid effort!
I liked this a lot! I really liked the tank style movement controls and the fake online feel of playing against the other ants!
Loved it, exactly what I wanted from this theme - beating small animals
The graphics are good, but would benefit from more feedback to the player, especially when fighting the boss.
Really fun little platformer, I love the early 2000's 3D animations of the various mouse fates. The game graphics were really good as well, it'd be great to see this expanded out!
This is a really fun little game, I'd love it as a mobile game! After a few attempts I found the tactic of waiting by where the straw spanwns you can just let it bring all the boba to you, so maybe have the straw positioned randomly? Still a really solid game though!
Like a few of the other comments have said, it took me a while to figure out I had to click the eggs to spawn the fish, but once I got that I spent quite a bit of time on this one!
Really good concept here! Having such an in depth tutorial at the start was a great idea for first time players. The graphics are spot on, really good job!
An interesting take on breakout games, I enjoyed the strategic element of having to choose which tiles to make solid. I think the fact that you've made this in your own engine is super impressive - really good job!
Really liked this, felt very Papers Please. It took me a while to understand how to use the TV screen to blank off suspects I'd crossed off but that made it easier to keep track of. Really good stuff!
Really love this, it felt a bit difficult but then again I'm probably just bad at games!
Really impressed with this one, it looks amazing and the gameplay is fun!
Loved this very morbid game, fits the theme really well. It took a few goes around to figure out the best strategy for success but once it clicked I really enjoyed it. The sound got a little repetitive after a while, especially in the late game when there were a lot of fish and snails, so maybe a mute button or some sound control would be good. Really good effort!
Very unique idea, always good to see a different medium used for making games!
Vary fun game, I think the player feedback could have been a bit clearer, even just flashing red when you take damage. Overall good use of the theme and fun too!
I really enjoyed this game! It was a challenge to balance the everything efficiently, the graphics were very appealing too! I think it could have done with a bit of music but all in all a really good job!
Really cute game, the graphics and music had a really nice calming aesthetic. Great job!
Really interesting concept, I liked that the combinations make sense. I think it could have done with some more feedback to tell the player they've successfully merged, but all in all a really good effort!
I really like the art in this game, although I'm not really sure how it fits into the theme - there are creatures but they're not very tiny! I feel like it could also do with a restart button rather than kicking you back to the main menu as I died a lot! Good effort!
Very cute idea, my girlfriend loved the mushroom ghost I made for her! tiny_ghost_creator.png
Really fun game, I love this kind of game and you've done a really good version here, great job. I feel like it could do with maybe some different attack types, something clear the screen would be really useful.
Really nice game, very Vampire Survivors! I think the speed of level up gets a bit too slow as you go through the game, but other than that really well balanced. Great job!
Really liked the concept of this one, Papers Please but you're a doctor! Graphics were really nice, needs some sort of tutorial and maybe some music and SFX, but really good job!
Really enjoyed this, love the 1-bit art style - it's hard to make just 2 colours look good but you got it perfect. Only thing I'd say would be to invert the colours if you're flying over water so you can still see you bat. It's Morbin Time
Really like this entry, it's a very interesting take on the theme. I think it could have done with a tutorial to explain some of the gameplay mechanics, but overall a really solid and thought provoking game
Very fun little adventure!
Really loved this! Not much else to say, this is one of my favourite games from this jam so far, the only gripe I have is that the item you have equipped starts to glitch around as your speed increases. Might be an idea to be able to unequip. Great job!
The graphics were really appealing and worked well with the theme. The gameplay is a bit confusing, the aim wasn't hugely clear, and I'm not too sure what then various drill functions actually did. I made it to about 1100 before I got the game over message, but after this appeared I could still move around and the drill kept going. Really good effort, just needs a bit of polish!
Really great concept that fits into the theme really well. Very steep learning curve but once I got the hang of it, I actually had a lot of fun! Good job
Really fun game, I love the concept! It would be really good to see this expanded out with more ships elements that need fixing, and possibly some sort of shop system to buy upgrades. Really good job!
Really great entry! I loved the atmosphere, very immersive, reminded me of Iron Lung. I played a few times but unfortunately couldn't fine the treasure, but I'm sure someone more skilled will have better luck. Great job!
I used to love escape room games when I was younger and this brought it all back. The visuals and sound design made it so atmospheric. Such a good job guys!
Really good entry, I loved all of the references and all of the item descriptions were really well written. Music was very fitting and atmospheric. Good job!
This was so good, really rare to have a game jam entry with voice acting! The sonar concept was really unique, and I like the challenge of having to essentially traverse two different mazes at the same time. Really great job!
This is a really solid puzzle game! I was stuck on the second but for soooo long I just had to give up in the end! Could do with some sort of hint system I think. Good effort!
Really good game, I really enjoyed it. The movement felt really nice and fluid, I also really liked the graphics on the character. Music was solid and it had a good difficulty curve. Only issue I found was when the boss arrived, he got stuck under the platform and the turrets rinsed him! [chrome_717VImhdQY.gif](///raw/c00/b5/z/6ba8e.gif)
Really like this game! The atmosphere is perfect, and I really like the little graphical touches - things like the diver looking back and forth really add to the overall aesthetic. The only things I'd say is there could be some more feedback to the player that they are doing damage with the harpoon, it took me until the swordfish to realise that I could kill enemies.
I really like the controls, probably realistic to an actual sub. Really good graphics and music/sounds. Really solid effort! Great job!
Vary Fun game, only managed to save 18 of the little guys before the rest were burned though! I also really liked the story at the begining and dialouge in general. Great job!
@runningopenloop Thanks for playing! That’s great feedback regarding the visibility of the crew quarters and the room status layout. I'll definitely take that into account. I hadn't put any thought into the order/position of the room status UI, but laying it out in the same order as on the actual ship is a great idea. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!
@lucasito Thank you for the feedback and kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the little story and the game overall. I never thought about non-QWERTY keyboard layout when creating the game, I'll make sure to add the ability for custom keybinds in future jams. Really appreciate you sticking with it despite that! Out of interest, what keyboard layout are you using?
@celian Thanks for playing! Really happy to hear you enjoyed the game overall, especially the graphics, means a lot! I completely understand the challenges with the controls for non-QWERTY users, it's definitetly something I'll address in the next game. Great job on completing the game on your second try! I'm so glad you stuck with it and had fun. Thanks again for your feedback!
@redscipio Thank you so much for playing and the great feedback. Really glad you enjoyed the game, and it’s awesome to hear the tutorial was a highlight for you! In the past LD games the players have always felt a bit lost on what to do so it was always a priority to get it in.
Really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!
@juliocezar Thank you so much! I'm so happy you enjoyed the game, your English is great - you got your message across perfectly! 😊
Thanks again for playing and for the kind words!
@ayu Thank you so much for playing — I'm really glad you enjoyed the look and feel of the game! I hear you on the controls — they can be a bit tricky, especially during tense moments. That’s definitely something I'd be looking to refine and improve in future jams. Thanks again for the feedback, it really helps make future games better!
@sami822 Thank you so much for playing — really happy to hear you enjoyed the concept! From the start I thought that expanding it into a deeper survival sim with RPG and trading elements would be a great idea. Maybe something for the future!
Sorry to hear the cause of failure wasn’t clear during your run. There are 3 methods of losing, if the captain loses all of their health, if the sub hull percentage in the bottom right reaches 0%, or if the sub dives below 300 meters. I didn’t get time to add proper visual feedback for attacks during the jam unfortunately.
Really appreciate you sharing your thoughts!
@providence Thank you for the honest feedback — it really means a lot! With hindsight, I absolutely packed a lot into the core loop, and striking the right balance between depth and clarity was a challenge, especially within the jam timeframe. Looking back, I should have probably cut some features when the time pressure started to hit.
With the repair system, I wanted to give players a sense of looming pressure, but agree that it could feel both overly predictive and unclear at the same time. Moving toward a more active repair system where issues arise dynamically (rather than on timers) was the original idea but as the deadline started to approach, I had to settle for the timers.
Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts!
@pusheeneiro Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game — it means a lot! 😊
@skosnowich Thank you so much for playing! I'm really glad the core gameplay loop clicked for you in the end, even if the tutorial felt a bit overwhelming at first. I originally wanted to have a short gameplay tutorial but as time moved on I had to settle for the text one which is never the best way to communicate the game to players.
You’re also spot on about the crew movement. You actually don't need to drag the crew into specific spots, but there are issues with the hitboxes that occur when the character is dragged over the border between rooms.
Really appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts!
@kidabra Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words! Really glad you enjoyed the concept and art direction. FTL and Bomber Crew were the biggest inspirations for the art style and gameplay.
Totally understand the feedback on the room visibility. I wanted a moody, atmospheric vibe, but it may have tipped a little too far into "hard to read" at times.
Thanks again for your feedback!
@filgru Really glad you enjoyed the game! Thank you for playing and for the feedback!
Great example of a simple concept done well. Graphics fit the theme of the game, although I'd say that with the sea urchin enemies it's quite hard to see clearly when their spikes are out. Other than that, really good entry!
Really nice little game, I think it could do with some sound effects and music, but the graphics are spot on. Extending this out would be really cool too. Really good effort!
I almost made it! Managed to collect the ring but unfortunately drowned in the toilet :disappointed: Really good entry, the graphics were good and the controls were responsive, when I died I didn't think it was unfair or anything. Great job!
Very fun game, I really liked the underwater effect. The anchor felt a bit delayed with it's controls sometimes, and other times it will be really responsive. The music was also a real high point, although I'm not sure if it was because I had my PC volume too high but it was very loud during the intro. Good effort!
Really good entry! I think it could have done with some sort of tutorial section in the game as a lot of people (myself included!) might not read the LD page fully before trying! But I really liked the concept, great job!
If this doesn't get one of the highest humour ratings you've been robbed :joy: The graphics are also a highlight, gameplay is obviously lacking as you've said, but I stayed for the story! Great job
