this is pretty neat, well polished. I always enjoy card based video games tho :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Cool game! I like the art style and the mechanics!
Pretty fun once I figured out how to play! In the future something showing where the player can place things might be good because I was confused at first. Overall though pretty cool did die because i didnt have enough mana though
This is a nice idea well suited for the jam theme ! The game would benefits from having some more visuel effects like when units hit eachothers, and some effect to show the summoning area. Alors the game would need to get a bit more balanced, at the third level I think I had an impossible patern (or I'm just bad)
Pretty fun overall. It was a bit unintuitive to control at first but with a bit of post reading it was easy enough to figure out :)
Cool idea, a good combination of TD and card game.
Pretty interesting idea, one thing that would help with game flow is if the level ended a couple of seconds after defeating the last enemy. I enjoyed playing it, good job on the entry ^^
I like this idea!very Cool game!
Great work on the game! Also great effort put into the LD posting as well :)
Good concept, I like the pixel art style, but I think it could have been a bit more zoomed in so you can see them fully - I think some basic animations would also go a long way to improving the feel of the game. The music loop is good and I like the different summons you can do. Good job!
If when you run the game you don't have any cards to play Run the LudumDare55.console.exe file in the Game directory. Sorry for the inconvenience
I hope im not the only one to mention this but this whole game site is super polished. Thumbs up
It's really funny))) The graphics could have been made more polished, but that also gives it its own Vibe!
Its fun to play, a little bug sometimes, where after I put the cards, another set appear and half cards and UI, letting you put invisible troops but other than that its so cool
Love the idea, really enjoy the cards and the summons. Took a little while to figure out what was happening but after that point it becomes quite fun!
Not even sure what to call this genre but its cool, good job :)
Love autobattlers  Very fun idea to combine them with a card based system. Would have loved to see more feedback when units are fighting/getting hit. A simple flash shader does wonders
I love the idea + the fact you have several characters is neat!
Nice, cool concept but more zoomed to see better the art could be cool ! Fun idea though !
Nice game, somehow it seems to crash when I win a battle. Animations and effects could be improved. Otherwise the concept is nice and the different units are cool
That is an interesting idea of mixing tower defense and deckbuilding genres, but the game needs more polish. There is no tutorial section and hard to guess that you can summon a monster only on the left side of the screen and only on roads. The usage of the theme is good too. I lost on the 3 wave. Overall, I think you can develop the game further if you want because it has good potential for development.
@sstyles93 Hi! thanks for the feedback, we had some issues with the game's export, but they have been fixed now.
Really innovative mix of tower defense and card game mechanics! The concept is engaging, and the art style adds a charming touch. Great job on creating such a unique experience!
I like set-and-forget battlers, so I played through a couple rounds. Unfortunately it was very buggy, wasn't visually compelling and was low on satisfaction. Plopping down your various units was the best part, but watching them trundle across the screen and then just push up against enemies didn't deliver. The best graphical elements were the cards, other than that it felt discordant.
But it's still awesome you got playable product out in just a few days, so congratulations!
Hi guys, thanks for all the feedback. Unfortunately we had some major issues in real life, one of the 2 main programmer had to get hospedalized after the first day for health issues, and we faced some sit backs. the last day we had all sorts of bugs and problems whit the game all at once and we had to rush the delivery. we couldn't make in time a lot of small things such as the tutorial, the area where you can place the units, and a whole new set of cards: spells, 2 were already made art wise but we couldn't code them in time, also the balancing is a bit off had to rush it to. in the end we fixed all we could've in the last hour of the game. the projectiles were also made, but not implemented to the mobs. and much more. the only thing we left for last to do were the animation there was no time for those unfortunately. We are still proud that we could deliver the project in time even if it was in it 70%ish of completition for what we had scheduled. Note the guy who had to be hospetalized is now fine don't worry. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE FEEDBACKS <3
Interesting game! I like it!
Love the idea and gameplay and I would recommend you to look into pixeldensity and pixelsizing if you want to polish it a bit more :D its a very good foundation you should work further on it! :D
Great game. It have some bugs. some of my army just go near enemy army and just do nothing. The wave never ends in that situation. But I like the game idea
Very chill game. Huge fan of card games so this was right up my alley. Sadly it bugged out for me on round 2 where no one was doing any damage. But with some bug fixing this could be a great game :)
nice entry and all the best to your programmer, hope he is ok 🧡
I often find myself in a situation where units don't attack anyone for some reason. I also thought that the settings only partially work. And so, the biggest plus of this game is that it's made very heartily :)
First game with metal music, I liked how it set the tone ! Another godot game, cheers my friend we do too! Hope you will work on this one a little bit so you can add some features like sending back to the demon some of the enemies attacks.
Game hardcrashed after a wall of skellies met my coffin skellies. I like the idea of mashing up cards and placing units on the map. I think the graphics for the units were well done, but they were very hard to read against the background tiles. Short audio, but effective for setting the mood!
It was a very cozy experience! Felt like playing an old Warcraft 3 map. Love the music and summon placement sound. Ended up trying to place units in the music rhythm. It was quite fun.
Good basic game. I got stuck few times, as the battles could easily end up in endless stalemate. The sword skeleton did not seem to do any damage. But it is still solid game with large set of features and it is more or less working as intended. With little bit more polish this would have been excellent game.
