First of all, congrats for realising your first game on Ludum Dare!
The concept was good and the basic controls worked fine.
A problem of this game is the non existing feedback for getting hit or damage dealt to enemies. Sound effects would help a lot here and some visible hints.
The sleeping fox is a cute protagonist of the game. Fits to the theme. :)
