Cool idea! Very cool graphics and I love the music in the second level. Don't forget to put a little tutorial for the mapping of the controls a bit earlier! Every time I went down I missed the text explaining them.

Nice game ! I would add a tutorial for controls because it's a bit hard to get the hang on cooldowns and resets for your abilities. But the graphics are very cool. Also that spike tunnel at the end is pure evil !

Fairly fun to play and quite hard as well. Loved the secret at the end.

Quite cool concept, i could totally see this being developed into a bigger game. To walk fast through the levels was quite satisfying, and the controls (even if a little bit confusing) in the end felt quite responsive.

Overall very solid entry. The music was quite chill, and the game was juicy enough for keep me trying over and over till the end. I wish the tutorials were just a little bit easier to read, since you're running fast through the level, to stop to read them felt a little bit counter intuitive.

Really nice game! Quite a interesting work overall :)

I couldn't get past the platform with the inevitable fall, I think this game is too difficult for me :) It also seems to me that the bloom effect is too strong here.

Really good entry! I think it could have done with some sort of tutorial section in the game as a lot of people (myself included!) might not read the LD page fully before trying! But I really liked the concept, great job!

graphics are very pretty and music too, the books are also interesting, wanted to know where the left and right paths led to but the game was a bit difficult to me, spikes insta kill you and you have to start all over again, tried a couple times and finally surrender. Also CTRL+W closes the current tab, that happened to me when trying to climb up, didn't know that shortcut exists and that's a problem for my game too. here's some feedback if you are interested: -1-Improove air controlling with quicker movements -2-Implement coyote time and an input queue for the jump button, with the coyote time you wouldn't consume your only jump if you jump right after you are no longer in contact with the ground, and with the input queue you can jump even if you press the jump button an instant before touching the ground again. -3-Make the spikes smaller and also their colliders -4-Add checkpoints so that you don't have to start all over again if you die

You actually share a similar concept with one of the most popular games in this jam. I suggest adding checkpoints though. Also, sometimes I have to jump down without knowing what is down there. I think it will be better if I know where I want to land before I jump.

Very fun to find some unintended shortcuts :)

Really cool game although it is kind of frustrating to restart the whoooole level each time you die, and the life bar goes down real quick (skill issue some will say ). The graphics and mechanics are really cool, and the game is overall really nice to play :) Thanks to the theme who coded this

Very cool game, even though I didn't make past the level two  . I really like the graphics  . I would prefer having stamina automatically regenerated after each level  . Great work anyway!

Super chill music, enjoyed it a lot! Jumping and dashing feels good. That mechainc with a bird huning you really looks fresh and cool. Though, I wish there is some ability to break free from her and use her as a movement tool - feels unfair when she just caught you and stuck under some platform, so you have to restart. Too hard for me to get to the end, starting from the very beggining each time is rough XD

gwendalg 2025-04-11 21:40

Thanks for your comment @kamuniaft, I'm sorry you couldn't break free from the bird. We wrote in the first stage how to do it but it's very easy to miss and we added it to the description: you need to spam click with any button of your mouse! We hope you'll enjoy it better knowing that, if you want to try it again! Regarding the remarks about the difficulty that came back in many comments, we wanted the game to be really tough so that tryharders could also have fun at it, but we have to admit even we struggle sometimes to win. A screen to select the difficulty might have been a needed addition to the game, we agree on that.

I think the chill vibes are great and it's interesting that the character has a bit of a floating feel when they fall a bit. My one comment is that it is definitely a bit hard and since you get pushed back to level 1 after a singular mistake. If there were check points, I think that it could have helped out! I also didn't realize how to free myself from the monster. Maybe having some kind of indicator as to how much longer it will take to break out will be helpful as well!

Interesting and unusual game, good graphics, nice to play, has interesting mechanics, thanks for this experience

lucasito 2025-04-12 10:08

Nice

skyeward 2025-04-12 20:36

Nice game, the jumping mechanics are fun to play around with. I fould restarting the whole game after death a little frustrating though, would have been nice to have progress saved at the start of the level.

I reached what I assume is the last level. It was very hard to understand the controls (and the grab one is hard to reach from the WASD position) and the main idea behind the HP and Stamina mechanics at first, but once I got the gist of it, it became quite addicting! It's also really cool that you had time to make a different song for each level! Well done!
