Love the ultra realistic controls ;), nice satisfying gameplay loop
Fun game, great sound design! I had trouble aiming the torpedo. I Would recommend using a key other than F1 for the help menu, some laptops you need to press a function key to hit F1.
Great work, I love the music and sound fx!
Great work! Getting a bit realistic/technical with it really worked well here
Control scheme was really interesting, I didn't get far but I enjoyed what I got to see. Nice work!
Interesting and funny game. Only issue was my skill issue. Good job!
This is a good idea but i find the submarine a little too hard to move how i want, the music is fantastic ! The start of it isn't easy i found myself just wandering around the cave to get socks before having a better engine and going more in the depths. The art is nice and the gamedesign are effective. That's a good job guys =)
Imploder haha! I have a thalassophobia and this game spooky as hell FIVE STARS!
Also music is great!
I really like the controls, probably realistic to an actual sub. Really good graphics and music/sounds. Really solid effort! Great job!
That music is top-notch. The idea is great, and the controls are different in a good way. It felt tedious as soon as I figured it out, but the constraints of a game jam are a formidable obstacle to creating deep gameplay
Really nice game. I enjoyed the exploration and seeing all the new creatures as I descended further. Although I enjoy the upgrades, I think the pace is a tad too slow without having a way to save progress, would love to be able to continue my run later.
I got really hyped about the music and art, very nice! Had a hard time progressing and trying to adjust to shoot sharks, but I didnt get many upgrades since I struggled to find stuff :P OVerall great experience!
Fun game, I loved the silly art, especially the sandworm. Could use more explosions when the missiles hit something!
Great work! I found this game to be really difficult actually, but I loved the style and the music. One thing that kinda irked me is that the spotlight switches direction when the sub switches direction.
Really interesting approach! Controls aside, it was a bit tedious to navigate and find things to sell, and for me it was easier to run away from enemies than shoot them. But the concept is cool, and it gave me a sense of wonder as I went deeper, well done!
The music kicked up as soon as I imploded the first time, so it felt like it was celebrating my demise! I like the overall vibe of the music and art.
Loved the music, made it very cozy like I was playing Terraria.
The beginning panicked me a bit since the oxygen bar was going down while I was trying to read the instructions. Also ended up not using the light at all.
Small issue where your sub momentum can carry you out of the buy menu. I think the game should full pause, especially if folks want to step a way for a bit.
I liked the little ballast and throttle visual.
Overall fun game, I managed to get the treasure at the end. Good job!
At first I was a little thrown off by the pixel art resolution inconsistency between the UI, text and the game itself - but after I got over that, it turned out to be a great experience. I liked in particular: the sense of danger as I went deeper (that feeling with 2 angry octopuses following me all the time), the fact that upgrades allowed me to progress further, the fact that scrap was always at the same place, and the visual representation of the controls. That made the game really enjoyable for me. Still, if I had to nitpick, I missed 3 things - some sort of pause (also when at the shop), resetting speed when bumping into something (the sub stops, but the velocity is still there), and a way to shake off creatures which are all around me. But yeah, minor things. I loved the entry, great job!
The game has really nice music and I liked the idea of using light as a weapon.
Very unique control scheme! I kind of like how difficult it is to change your trajectory as you navigate the depths.
I was a little bit overwhelmed at first. The shopping screen in particular was rather busy when I first opened it, but eventually I got the hang of it!
Very atmospheric! Those massive creatures in the deep look truly terrifying! The music also does a great job of reinforcing the atmosphere.
This was fun! The controls were difficult to keep straight for me, and it was a bit hard to scare off or torpedo fish that were right on top of me. The music seemed to gain intensity at lower O2 levels, and I thought the name/theme was pretty funny.
Looks good and plays the same. Only UI could be a bit bigger but anyway really cool concept and gameplay
