Had a lot of fun hurling the creatures until I realized that it was killing them lol. Pretty ambitious to make a full story, good job!

So much personality in one game made by a parent and 3.5 kids, its so so good :smile: It was hard to play and I was about to make note, but the difficulty actually made the reward sweeter. BGM while trying to save the little critters would have been nice.

Vary Fun game, only managed to save 18 of the little guys before the rest were burned though! I also really liked the story at the begining and dialouge in general. Great job!

Really liked the art and animations, you don't see a lot of interactive cutscenes in a jam, so that was a fun surprise :) it took me a bit to figure out how to grab and move the creatures, and the colliders seemed a bit finnicky, but it was fun to launch them. My only real complaint is that it could've used some more feedback for when creatures were safe vs dead...I was initially launching them into the pit, and had a bunch going down before the death count started to rise and I knew that was wrong :face_palm: Overall I had a good time, the story was pretty well done and flowed nicely

Congrats, that's a pretty original game concept, which I imagine is difficult to implement well within the time limit. The throwing mechanic is a bit finicky, maybe an "angry birds" style throwing would be easier.

A lot of story for a jam game! I accidentally dropped a few creatures into the holes thinking I was saving them, then saw their charred remains floating in the abyss. :cry:

If you were making tweaks post-jam, moving the volcano pressure to the main UI would help keep the intensity up, as well as perhaps adding some sort of angry-birds style sling-shot or spinning throw to the squid to propel those suckers into the cave with serious velocity. :smile:

@johnnysix, thanks - that's a good idea about moving the pressure to the main UI. My kids had fun using Dialogic to make the story.
