The most unusual and fun visuals. I like it
I also wanted to add that the game should have a limit on the number of fleas.
The music and visuals are especially attractive! I also really liked the unusual gameplay and the ability to replay the game several times!
Yes, I decided to give the player the opportunity to explore the location even if his entire tribe dies. To restart the level, press the Escape button and select Replay.
I don't want to repeat after everyone else, but the graphics are really awesome. I also want to note the excellent correspondence to the theme of the jam and the sound component
Funny how the stories in our games turned out kind of similar — and how differently the whole ‘ring retrieval’ idea can be done. Yours turned out way more interesting! :)
I like how the jam theme is implemented here, nothing to complain about, great game.
Very enjoyable and addictive game, you want to play again and again. Great job!
I wouldn’t call this game short — to me, it’s a great jam version. Also, I’ve gotta say, it’s really enjoyable to play, feels super polished.
Pretty creepy and atmospheric — loved the vibe! I’d maybe suggest making the exit a bit easier to spot (I couldn’t find it at all), or even adding a little radar that shows where the hostile fish and the exit are. I think that way more players could actually make it to the end. Other than that, I had a great time — awesome game!
Short but fun game. Also I like how you used the jam theme, great game.
An unusual way of presenting the theme of the jam, it is clear that a lot of work has been done on the plot and illustrations.
One of the few games I actually enjoyed at this jam. It's short, simple, and fits the theme of the jam well. Keep it up!
It's a bit tricky to control, but I like the unique jumping mechanics, I've never seen anything like it before.
Quite a good result considering this is your first LD.
@chrisbeck thanks for the rating, yeah i think sending the player back to the start after dying was a bad idea, i'll keep that in mind next time.
@braktheman, thanks for the feedback, I'll try to answer your questions: 1. Yes, he really did shrink (because he really wanted to get the ring) 2. In fact, the game map is designed so that the diver makes a circle and returns back, but through a different pipe. (although the plumbing really suffers) 3. Yes
@mr-mesmer, thanks for the constructive criticism, in fact, the game initially should have had more content (flashlight, checkpoints, another type of enemy), but I just didn't have time to implement everything. Next time I'll try to take these mistakes into account.
@scott-r-howell Interesting that you found a resemblance to the underwater levels from Crash Bandicoot. I didn’t use that game as a reference.
There are a few flaws in the game's design, but I think for a game made in 3 days it's a pretty good result.
I liked the unusual implementation of the jam theme combined with nice graphics and an interesting plot.
As far as I understand, the subject matter is obvious in the depth of the investigation. I would also like to note the excellent audio and visual components.
I thought the game was a bit long, but it fits the jam theme well and overall I liked the background music and simple graphics.
The charming watercolor art is truly outstanding and immediately drew me in.

Regarding gameplay: I feel the timer might not be entirely necessary, as it decreases quite slowly during item collection. Perhaps adding item descriptions or a preview of the next enemy could help players prioritize what to gather.
Overall, I really enjoyed it! The game is concise and engaging — I had a great time and completed it in about 10 minutes.
I really like the visual style of the clowns and the environment. The game is simple and short — perfect for a jam game.
The core mechanic is unusual and fun — stunning clowns and collecting them on your head creates some hilarious moments. The auto-aim feature for targeting clowns is also a smart and convenient addition.
For future development, it could be interesting to see more clown types with different abilities to add variety.
Overall, this is a solid game that would benefit from adding audio, but the core concept is really enjoyable!
The card collection system is really enjoyable! With 41 unique cards, there's a substantial amount of content to discover, which really extends the playtime in a satisfying way.
I also loved the voice acting — it complements the on-screen action perfectly.
Some minor notes: The camera's up-down rotation feels a bit unusual (almost like the character is tilting), and there were moments where I could see through walls and objects.
Overall, great concept! Even though I didn't complete the full collection, I had fun and think this idea has real potential for further development.
This is currently my top-rated game from the jam! The music, animations, and overall feel are absolutely superb — it's genuinely enjoyable to play.
The combat mechanics are fantastic — a unique mix between billiards and fighting that works surprisingly well.
My only minor setback was getting sent back to the beginning after losing to the final boss, but that's a small issue.
Amazing work!
@gwhyang Sorry for the trouble! The fixed build is now up on the itch.io page — you can play it here: https://makache.itch.io/eye-dealer
@lima-victor Bug fixed! You can now collect all the eyes. Thanks for reporting!
I'm really impressed by how polished this game feels. All the small details really add up and make the experience stand out.
The card-crafting system is quite unique — first you collect puzzle pieces, then use them to build cards for your deck. I liked the strategic choice between going with safer puzzle cards or taking a risk with enemy cards for more resources.
One observation about the enemy behavior: they tend to move directly toward you and cluster together, which can make combat feel a bit predictable. Mixing up their movement patterns could add more challenge.
Overall, it's a creative concept that captures the theme well. Solid work!
