Jars for the Collector by BlackCat508 2025-10-12T04:37:43Z ♥ 1
I found a bug in the game. If you present an empty jar, it always succeeds at the sniff test. I managed to cheese through the game that way!

The visuals and atmosphere is amazing! I love the title drops. I think the doors miss having an opening sound effect. Also, Esc key quitting the game is frustrating, I think it should pause it instead.
All in all, solid compo entry!
I love love love the visuals! I realized you can just hold left mouse button to collect. No need to click.
I played until I got 2 obsidian swords and battled a 1000 HP enemy.
After death, you don't actually have to press the Restart button to keep playing! Your ghost self fights for you, presumably.
I wish there was more challenge or final boss fight. The chest enemy trap was funny! I think some simple sound effects would be a low-hanging fruit to make the game more engaging. Even some simple BFXR beeps.
Amazing graphics! And very funny! I like the sound design, too. I finished it.
I don't know how to cancel a conversation without saying a bad line and getting the police called on me. I also kind of wish I could skip the arrest cutscene.
Saying a so-so line will remove the top option, not the option that didn't work (after protag saying "I guess she didn't like that one"). It was weird that I had to use the successful option 3 times in a row to gain the last girl's number.
This is one of the best games in this jam that I've come through so far! Unfortunately, the final level can be buggy. It was impossible to jump high enough to reach the potion until I restarted the game on Chrome. The potion was spawned a little too high out of reach.
I also think "catalyst" is misspelled twice in the game.
The main menu doesn't work with the mouse, only keyboard.
I agree with other commenters saying it should be more obvious which tile we're interacting with in the main game. I managed to soft-lock myself by placing 4 tiles around me while holding a box.
This is one of the most unique games I encountered this jam so far! I'm stuck on it though.
I made a bunch of "compressors" thinking it will give me the blue tiles needed for a "generator". I gave it 10 pink tiles and... nothing happened? I added a relay from the top-right part of the map thinking it will give my compressor the needed electricity and... still nothing happened? I have more pink tiles than I know what to do with but no blue ones. I guess I don't understand the game mechanics. I still gave the game a high vote anyway.
Adding sound effects would've gone a long way. At least a sound for placing a tile, finishing a construction, or a cube physics colliding with the world.
This is probably the prettiest jam game I stumbled over so far. I beat it by mashing left click and space without understanding the mechanics.
A very good puzzle game! I especially liked the green grid puzzle.
For some reason, the keyboard key hint "Q" was hidden out of view and I thought it said "press 0" or "press O" so I was stuck for a bit.
I think I reached the end? I followed the path and started walking until there was no ground beneath me. I would've appreciated a "thanks for playing" message to make sure I didn't miss anything.
I'm getting an error on Windows 11: "Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing?" "If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension)." End quote.
I think the text, which is the most important aspect of this game, is too small and away from the focus of the player's gaze. It's also partially obscured by the fullscreen button. That said, this game is pretty innovative!
I found the game addicting despite me cheesing through it (sometimes taking items without reading the values). It reminded me a lot of the Elder Scrolls of all things.
Good job releasing a game while learning a new engine! P.S. Why is the game 100mb?
Love the game! The world feels very expansive. I thought the scale of the window on Web/Itch is very small. At least I can zoom in using my browser with ctrl+mouse wheel.
Love the graphics! I also love the variety of the missions! I gave the game a perfect score. I feel like the car doesn't have weight transfer though? I tried a Scandinavian flick multiple times and it didn't work.
It wasn't clear to me immediately that you're supposed to click on the crop square to harvest, not the actual growing crop circle. Otherwise, nice management game.
The controls are really weird on my end, probably because of QWERTY. WASD doesn't work, instead Q is left and Z is Up (S and D work expectantly). You could add Arrow keys are secondary controls.
I like the car design! They remind me of classic 1920s cars. The controls for throwing the packages were unintuitive without reading this page. It could've been written inside the game.
Like SneakyFox, I also cannot play the game. I get a terminal with the error: =>[Ludum53_Delivery_Colin] ??????. And clicking the symbol crashes the game.
Loved the visual style! I think the game is very interesting and is worth expanding on with NPCs and other elements. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that the transitions were giving me a little motion sickness.
Side-note: I think there's a typo in the description where you listed Aseprite as a Music software.

Pretty fun! Made easy when I found out that you can fly by tapping the jump button! The game was lagging a lot though. My computer is a Windows 11, i9-13980HX, RTX 4090 mobile.

I rate it 5/5 in every category. If this doesn't win Compo, I don't know what would.
Cerulean Room by alexrose 2026-10-20T06:04:07Z ♥ 0
I'm getting the following error when I launch the .exe "Data folder not found. There should be 'Cerulean Room_Data' folder next to the executable."
Edit: Fixed now when I downloaded the new version.
