love this! the ammo recollection feature is a such a good addition to the gameplay!!! would love to see powerups/upgrades in it too
Really loved the simple idea. It got kinda hard after a little bit of time. Really liked the game. Congrats!
love this, really makes me feel like a holy knight
DEUS VULT
This was really fun wow. I like how there is some incentive to build up the goop instead of taking enemies out fast as they spawn in.
really good game, feels polished and juicy to play, i loved it! it feels a bit strange that the character has a sword but is firing orbs, but apart from that (really) minor inconvenience, i had a lot of fun playing it, great job!

Cool idea! Very fast paced from the start, had a great immediate draw.
Pretty well executed and fun. Not sure if the ammo mechanic adds much to it, but otherwise just a really solid entry. Good job on it!
pretty hard! only got a little over 1k before i died. music was great, art was great (kinda weird that you're shooting with a sword but w/e), fairly good presentation and juice. overall super solid entry had a lot of fun with this
It took me a bit to get a hang of the mechanics, but it was fun once I figured out how to gather more XP. The balance of letting darkness grow vs choosing when to reap it is a great gameplay design!
Feels very juicy and polished. I liked the balance between shooting and getting your ammo back. The music is very well done and the growing darkness fits the theme perfectly. Well done!
Interesting take on this genre of game! I don't know what happened with my game but this one guy on the screen (looked like a square with three dots?) I couldn't kill for some reason. I also didn't know what the power ups were or what they meant so I just clicked randomly.
strangely satisfying, especially when you free a large part with your hands....
when I get a powerup, it completely stops the game and I lose my pace... it's also a shame that there are no descriptions for the powerups directly in the game... but otherwise great work..
for how simple a game it is, I really enjoyed it.. maybe a joke than other more complicated titles
It took me a couple of runs to figure out what my strategy should be with this game - especially since it wasn't clear what the items I was picking up did. But honestly, I was so intrigued by what could happen I just kept playing until I figured it out. AND THEN an upgrade screen popped up with even more mysteries. Some of the iconography wasn't too hard to figure out, but some upgrades left me scratching my head. If this were a fully released game it would probably annoy me, but in the context of the jam it was actually kind of fun being a bit confused - it just made me want to continue my investigation. AND THEN Endless Mode unlocked. What fun little surprises! AND THEN once I finally understood the mechanic better I became an unstoppable holy force, defeating dark creatures at a pace The Lord God himself would envy. I realize polish is (and rightly so) the last thing to get attention in game jams, but this game could've used some extra time for it in all areas, but that being said, I obviously had fun playing it. As far as the jam goes it's a great game, and that's not even considering the fact that it was a one-person operation. Incredible. Wonderful job!
Oh, nice! Each of the monsters is annoying in its own way, which I like. Not a bad game. I'd like to see a more polished version of it.
