LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Fire Escape by Dj Depressive 2022-04-05T21:05:13Z

This was quite enjoyable. :) I feel like I was missing a lot of the mechanical depth (it's unclear why I can push over plants and people, make the printer go crazy, or anything other than open the elevator with the mouse, and sliding didn't appear to do much) but as a simple office parkour arcade game sort of thing it feels good to play and has a funny theme to it.

The Flame by Feesh 2022-04-05T21:37:25Z

This was nice  I was brought in by the pixel art and was not disappointed. The audio was also pleasant, and well suited to environment, though I would have preferred to not have the abrupt end before it loops. I have but 2 complaints - 1. Faster please. The game seems to want to have a contemplative feel but so much of my time is spent waiting for the next star to get to me. I would like to see more, faster stars so that more of my time is spent swaying then staying still 2. Hitboxes. there is about two seconds where the star can pass the end of the smoke cloud and one can naught but watch it happen, and that's silly.

Otherwise its a cute little game that lets you sit and tend to the fire for as long as you feel like doing so. :)

Last Night at Tax fraud by iMadislol 2022-04-05T21:25:19Z

I found this one a bit frustrating to play - though perhaps that's my unfamiliarity with fnaf likes. The fact that only some of the stop the collector keys can be instantly accessed from the monitor is frustrating, and the speed at which the tax man comes at you makes the comparatively lengthy cutscenes annoying to deal with. I never felt safe typing, but never had anything to do when I wasn't. The audio was also either too quiet for me to hear even at full volume or not present for many key parts of the game. That all being said, the art style was nice to see - very BATIM, and what audio I did hear added to the experience. I just wish that I could have the UI react quickly enough to think that I might have a chance of commiting tax evasion, instead of UX making failure seem *inevitable*

Inside OUT - Mind Maze by DrinkWhD 2023-10-03T19:29:27Z

I don't think it was entirely intentional, but at one point I got trapped in a corner with lowish health, and I feared leaving the corner with the bad thoughts just in sight. I feel like that's a good metaphor. Good job.
