I don't think it was entirely intentional, but at one point I got trapped in a corner with lowish health, and I feared leaving the corner with the bad thoughts just in sight. I feel like that's a good metaphor. Good job.
Congrats on the entry! I couldn't find my way out of the maze after a few playthroughs but the ambience of the music made it a creepy playthrough. There seem to be some issues with the character animations as moving up/down and left/right uses different sprite styles. Besides that, I did enjoy the game and think it's a good entry, nice work!
I couldn`t quiet understand the hitboxes, so sword swings works a bit strange as well as the damage the character took. When I spammed E the sword swing sound I realised it is a bit too loud or harsh. The animations on the swings worked normal only with side attack with E+D or E+A, while the forward and back attack animation was a bit sus. And the last thing is that I couldn`t download the game, so the only option to play it is on different site. Thank you for your game ^ ^

Very interesting and depressing entry. A very interesting depiction of mental illness and the dark thoughts people experience being personified. The music and visuals help to create a very creepy ambience and mood which I really liked.
The only issues I had was around combat. It was a little confusing sometimes where I would press E and hear the attack sound but the animation wouldn't play but it would still do damage. Sometimes it would play sometimes it wouldn't. I think making this a little clearer would've helped the combat feel better.
But other than that its a really great atmospheric game and I really like the concept of exploring mental illness.
i wanted to try this game. But the embedded game doesn't work in the page. It shows 404 error with index.html missing and there's no linux build 🐧 😢
Yume nikki vibes with the art and sound creating a really immersive mood. I also found the attack animation and knockback inconsistent. I seemed to get off attacks consistently if I tapped forward button slightly before attacking. Not sure if that was a bug. I think you did a great job capturing the theme through mental illness. Great job!
Good work on creating the atmosphere of a psychological horror, utilizing very fitting sounds while using primitive graphics. The concept is conveyed simply and effectively.

Very interesting psychedelically style in graphics. In the game no gameover, can't go back in the main menu. Cool music, corresponds to style of graphics.
