Great game! Really liked the music and graphics, and the gameplay was quite fun. The simple gameplay in combination with the music really created, as you mention in your description, a nice, calming experience. I think the main problem I ran into was that the stars in the background sometimes blended in with the stars that were coming at me, and I ended up shooting some stars at nothing. It only happened one time though, so I don't know how much of a problem that really is. But other than that, I really liked your game! Well done!

While the gameplay is obviously quite bare I still like the mood produced by the fire and the nice background musik.

Your game could be more nervous. The difficulty curve could be steeper, because your gameplay mechanics are easy to grasp. On the other hand, the graphics are really cool.

This was nice  I was brought in by the pixel art and was not disappointed. The audio was also pleasant, and well suited to environment, though I would have preferred to not have the abrupt end before it loops. I have but 2 complaints - 1. Faster please. The game seems to want to have a contemplative feel but so much of my time is spent waiting for the next star to get to me. I would like to see more, faster stars so that more of my time is spent swaying then staying still 2. Hitboxes. there is about two seconds where the star can pass the end of the smoke cloud and one can naught but watch it happen, and that's silly.

Otherwise its a cute little game that lets you sit and tend to the fire for as long as you feel like doing so. :)

This looks great! The pixel art and music created an amazing ambience. Biggest issue for me was where the music looped was very distracting (seemed like the music was climaxing, then suddenly stopped and started at the beginning again.)

Pleasant game. With the calm vibes coming from the pixel art and music i expected gameplay, that supported the mood more by maybe being more of the "interacting with the environment" type other than the typical "highscore and game over" type. Thank you for your entry :)

The music and minimalists graphics was nice ! But the gameplay was not something I expected (I don't know, I expected a more chill gameplay, like move wood to keep the fire burning or block wind)

@loiclegrosfrere @01fe7e @iguanana @somesortofsam @raphaeltan @sirmichel @eoshadows Thank you all for the feedback! I'm really happy that the environment I made did feel nice and relaxing like I was hoping! I do think the gameplay could have used a lot more tweaking or a shift to fit the art more but I got a bit carried away with the art and didn't have much time to really think through much gameplay which was a pretty big oversight lol. This was probably my first jam putting that much work into my art so it's good to hear it payed off

Cool game! Awesome job with the music. It is interesting how good this pixel art looks, especially with limited number of pixels you used. Good job!

Simple yet nice game, fits the theme. What I liked: the calm mood, and the graphics. What I think could be improved: maybe some gameplay diversity, and the audio loop felt a little short.

Good job for this entry!
