This was an interesting concept. I understand more of the time went into the coding than the graphics so I won't knock you for that. I did have trouble figuring out how to make the deliveries. It appeared that I was able to pick up one of the fully grown plants, but I'm not sure how I did that. I think if you had a timer bar like you did for the deliveries for the growth of the plants it would be easier to tell when they are ready to be harvested. When the plant graphic got to its biggest point, I would have thought that it was done, but it didn't appear to be. You could have also added a currency system so that you got currency based on the delivery and the seeds cost a certain amount. Overall, I understand the time limit of the game jam can define how much of the game you get done. I think with more time, this would be a more enjoyable game.

There seems to be a bug with harvesting crops, or else it's unclear how it works. Sometimes clicking on a glittering plot harvests the crop, sometimes it does nothing. With that fixed, it would be a nice simple game to scratch the farming itch.

I think you'd also want some form of currency to force the player to make decisions about what crops to buy and plant in what order. As is, you can seemingly just buy out the shop whenever you want.

I actually like the minimal graphics and abstract nature of them, the Symbols reminded me of elements. Unforuntately I wasnt able to harvest anything. A small tutorial about forfilling a delivery would help with this! Good Job though! It also took me a while to notice I could get whatever I wanted from the shop. I think that a currency system would be great!

It wasn't clear to me immediately that you're supposed to click on the crop square to harvest, not the actual growing crop circle. Otherwise, nice management game.

I feel like there's a version of this game that I would be absolutely obsessed with, but because there's a general lack of feedback on your actions in the game I have absolutely no idea what is going on. I highly recommend the use of a tool like sfxr.me to make quick and easy to implement sound effects for your games, as that alone can improve the gamefeel by a staggering amount.

I hate to give a game that I feel like I would enjoy a low rating because that has been discouraging for my own game development efforts but for now, it's my honest opinion. Some kenney.nl UI assets and sound effects will do wonders for this game, trust me. Keep up the good work! I feel like you have something cool here.

Man, i had a blast with this. After you get the hang of how the game works, it becomes very engaging. The only whing i would change is the Inventory and Plant seed menus, making only one of them. Great idea and great job implementing it!!

The menuing was wonky to say the least, but once I understood that I had to click on the crop squares instead of the actual vegetables, I managed to do play. The deliveries are so quick to run out of time and you gain so little hearts per delivery. This was stressful for me, but also i was like "whatever" because I didn't have any context. Do I have to help my farmer grandma who has a broken hip and can't grow the crops ? Am I making illegal vegetables in a world where only synthetic food is pushed to the consumer by BIG FOOD ? It has the potential to be something good. Once you have some graphics, some sound, some feedback overall, and some balancing, you might have a nice little game ! Good luck to you !

(tips: check if raycast pass through UI to block it, either disable vegetable colliders to be able to click plot through it or make it so that you have to click the vegetable itself to harvest it, give players all the info they need easily accessible -such as growth time- with tooltips when hovering the buttons)

I'd like to have more detailed instruction because as for now my smol brain could not get grip of my tasks. Anyway congratz with your entry!

Fun game loop, but like other said the feedback is lacking. It seemed bugged, I felt like I was gaining crops when planting seeds (some deliveries were coming available while I was planting and not harvesting). The shape increasing in size and color is fun. I don't think the simple graphics are a problem, but it could be more cohesive. I kept accidentally opening the menus when clicking on the crops and the fact that you need to click in the square and not the crop is annoying. All in all completed game, good job. I feel like with more polish this game could be addictive to me.

Nice try and interesting concept. Maybe it's more helpful to guide in the beginning of the game. (Though time is not enough haha)

It took me reading some of the other comments to figure out how to properly harvest crops, but with that sorted out, this is a fun little gameplay loop. I think that fast-paced farming is kind of cool--this game feels kind of like a cross between a cooking game, where you take in orders and have to fulfill them, and a traditional farming game, where there's questions of where to plant plants, etc. I think that adding more farming features could be an interesting direction to push this in, for example, requiring water to grow plants--and of course it could also be interesting to make some customer demands more complicated, such as requiring three seeds.

One small detail--I'm a bit confused why clicking on a square sometimes opens the inventory menu. I find this kind of distracting, I think I would rather the inventory only opened when I explicitly asked it to.

Overall though, it was fun to sort of figure out the gameplay loop and start pumping out deliveries with some efficiency.

Without reading the comments here I would not be able to understand how to harvest the crops. It would be easier if you added extra instructions on how to play the whole game or, as others mentioned above, even add visual feedback to the user for when they have to harvest the corps (and of course how to do it). As I understand most of your effort was spend trying to make it work (from programming aspect) so you did not manage to have very good visual result. Also, the absence of real sound fx and feedback reminds me how important they are for the whole experience.

In general your idea was very nice and in theme. I think if you had some more time you could make it a real thing and it would really be nice to play. Keep up my friend! Good job!
