LD53 — Delivery

Comedian Keith by catbutt 2023-05-02T08:55:47Z

My Score was 44! Good take on the theme "Delivery" when we were brainstorming we had telling jokes on the list but couldnt think of a way to turn it into a game... and you have! The only thing I would say, is that I spend most of my time looking at the bottom of the screen where the arrow key sequences are, meaning I dont really have time to read the jokes, which feels like a shame. My one feedback therefore is to improve the layout/scaling of the user interface slightly so that you can see everything in front of you! Otherwise... I really like the fact that you can only enter the arrow keys when you are in the light, think that's a cool idea, like the environment and sounds... I like the 10000 bottles thrown at the end! Nice Game!

I'd Reccomend the Desktop build guys, the sensitivity of the web build went all whack

Meat Missile Madness by Oliver Pope 2023-05-02T13:54:26Z

Seeing that people are still saying the sensitivity is way too high! Will push another update later lowering it again, but in the mean time you can change sensitivity in the menu by pressing "p"

Crop Delivery by KreGames 2023-05-03T21:26:54Z

I actually like the minimal graphics and abstract nature of them, the Symbols reminded me of elements. Unforuntately I wasnt able to harvest anything. A small tutorial about forfilling a delivery would help with this! Good Job though! It also took me a while to notice I could get whatever I wanted from the shop. I think that a currency system would be great!

It's a very cool concept for a game, unfortunately I couldnt really make out all of the items in the scene and the UI, id reccomend increasing the scale of things for a bit of visual clarity. I do love Seaguls, and I do love the concept though, especially with the multiple stages of it!

Drone Delivery by chesschaser 2023-05-02T13:52:32Z

Nice game! I think a few more features/obstacles in the later levels would be cool but overall good fun! I think your tutorial is a bit too much text and should be more of a guided level, but also I feel like the game is quite simple in it's controls so I still picked it up quite quickly. Well Done xXXx

Become a Courier by alisher_fazilov 2023-05-02T09:10:24Z

Nice Game! played for a little while to unlock some of the viechles and made a bunch of deliveries. Theres alwasys something satisying about driving around a town/city and making a delivery, and I felt that whilst playing your game! Couple bits of feedback - You can get stuck in a loop if one of the yellow couriers comes to the spawn point, and keeps sending you back - Sometimes when I am far away from spawn after finishing a delivery, the punishment of 100 dollars by being hit by a yellow courier is actually worth the cost for quick travel, so it might be worth thinking about the balance there. - Would be cool to see the delivery items on the back of the player, like the bag could fill up or you put an object there?

Overall well done!

Took me a while to work out what was going on, but once I figured it out I loved it! I think a bit of tutorialization would be great, and maybe a simplification of the User Interface... however please make some more levels and I will give them a play! Given you a follow on itch too :)

Food Service Singularity by Cheesecube 2023-05-03T22:02:08Z

Love the fridge and drone companions, would love to see more of them! The puzzles were a good intro into a game I would love to play more of! The music and SFX were fitting too. I think a bit more colour differentiation between the charcters and the background would be helpful, but the art style is really cool. One thing I got confused about a few times was the doors being open and closed, the thin line was hard to spot with the background behind it, and because of the background I often thought the doors were locked still even though they were not. One thing I would try to work on design wise is making sure people have to use all elements of your puzzle. One example of this is in the first level where you introduce the yellow laser. I can throw the fridge across the gap (very cool I love momentum), and then I can use the button to disable the laser to get the drone to come over. However, this isnt actually necessasry, as I can finish the level with just the fridge. Making it necessary to get both characters to the end might help with your design a bit, and make it feel more complete. I dont want to leave my drone companion behind!

Noticed a couple bugs, but nothing game breaking: -The Fridge sometimes got stretched out horizontally when being grabbed by the drone -The first time I loaded the game I couldnt make any inputs.

Will give you a follow on itch and see if you make any updates or add new levels, as Id love to give them a go! Cheers :P

Definitely a fun little arcarde game! Sometimes trying to manage one core thing can make for a fun game! I played it a few times to see if I could get a high score. The sound is fantastic, I love the voices and the keyboard clicks makes it all feel very real! The UI for the indicator is cool, I like the way the red one expands the scale of the bubble, a pop animation would be cool! If I was able to see the stress meters that were offscreen on the side of the screen that might be useful! I would say that the only thing I would say is a few more events in the game that make navigating the office space a bit more interesting and difficult... like a leak that causes a slippery puddle on the ground, a janitor moving very slowly with a trolley that might get in the way etc etc. Well Done Guys!

Chain Mail by Gev 2023-05-03T21:40:42Z

This game is hard!!! (in a good way) it took me 3 tries to do the first level, as I managed to work out a good path around the town. The chain of cubes is fun to watch trail! A design idea I might add to this is a "weighting" of the boxes, and the ability to drop them off sooner, the more you are carrying/snaking behind you, the slower you become, but you can drop them off early to increase your speed back to normal levels.... just a thought!

Turbo Baby by AdamLenglen 2023-05-03T23:02:31Z

Fantastic Art, Great Music, Brilliant theme. I think the game starts abit to hard and id like a gentle introduction to the game, giving me a chance to prepare myself. Other than that top marks.
