Played this for way longer than I'd wanted to... I just wanted to find a specific card!
I'm going to be honest, the art is definitely not the best, the gameplay itself is not the most intriguing, but BOY did y'all manage to simulate that feeling of collecting trading cards well. Absolutely brilliant. It had me GRINDING to get the next pack and it gave me an actual dopamine hit AND YET I WANTED MORE. Nicely done, my favourite addiction simulator in the jam so far (no but actually, managing to capture this TCG effect so strongly is very amazing!) Good job!

I really enjoy the calming music and juicy sound effects, paired with the liminal-spaces-like leveldesign  (oh boy that sounds like wine tasting :joy:)

Sorry I'm late to playing your project, today was the first day I could get back on the computer, but I'm here now so let's go!
Let me start by saying I'll be coming back to this one later to fill out my collection. I really want to see all the cards, but sadly the only job I can even kind of do at the moment (without too much pain) is the jumping one and that gets a little tedious pretty quick. Overall I like what you've done here and I'd love to see more! Any plans on developing it more after the jam or is this a one and done?

@kepsert Thank you for playing and for sending us the Giraffe O'clock card! We are planning to add more jobs and content to make the gameplay more interesting, but with the time that we had our main focus was the card collecting ^^
@leorean Thank you! We've teamed up with @daviddee once again, and he's created some amazing soundtracks once again ^^
@threeli No worries, we are pretty late with playing games too. We appreciate you playing either way ^^ And yes, we will definately be coming back to this game to add more content. We got a post jam update already planned (with more cards, maybe 1 or 2 more jobs if we have time and finally the job upgrade center). We are also thinking of updating this game every so often with new references to games we've done (for example after a game jam, add some cards about that game). Thank you for enjoying the game!
My first pack was 100 gold, that felt like quite a lot. Maybe forcing the first card pack to be cheap would make the introduction to the game a bit less steep.

@slay-a-stone fair shout, the different packs were a last minute addition and we didnt balance the rng afterwards. We'll add this in the post jam update!
Pretty fun — it reminded me of The Stanley Parable! Too bad you can’t escape with the cards =D And it’s a pity the cards don’t give bonuses like extra coin gain, faster button recharge, or increased movement speed to collect coins more quickly.
Interesting idle game. Works hard to buy mtg packs - so true (. Challenges reminded me about one real life escape room quest. It this quest you need to sit in front of a mirror in an expensive fur coat on the toilet, and gold fell into this toilet.
P.S. Thank you for playing my game on stream!

Loved the calm, slightly liminal vibe and the card-collecting loop, addictive! Maybe make the first pack a bit cheaper, but overall a great jam !
Funny! Reminds me of Stanley Parable and that's cool!

@melomaner Thank you for playing our game! We did have a ground floor planned where you can upgrade and unlock more jobs, so without a ground floor there is actually no way to escape the building with your cards :)
@mr-mesmer @mrbamboo @zidan-banan Thank you for playing the game!

Grinding through meaningless, mechanical work—earning money just to collect cards. It’s delightfully ironic, and honestly fun to play.
The idea is interesting, and the tasks were fun, but only to collect the first deck. The second deck is already very expensive, and the payment for the work does not increase. The style of the cards is fun :)

Quite thought provoking experience. On a diffrent note I'm almost sad I didn't get to break the walk around the circle bit.
Does it take a really long time to get a pack, or is it just me? The 250 price for one pack almost killed me
Anyway, I really like the narrator and the use of 3D, it’s quite unusual and run smoothly! I just wished for a bit more variety in the jobs (like a pillar that grows as you turn around it, or gravity that gets weaker over time. That kind of fun twist)
I don’t understand why players are placed in a purchased shop right at the beginning. Later, I tried other jobs at the top (strongly suggesting that **the mouse clicks the button instead of pressing the E key**, which is quite counterintuitive), and it felt more like doing some ordinary tests, just checking the system’s underlying operations, which is a bit tedious.
Also, I don’t know how many coins are needed to exchange for cards in the end ,I was still going in circles to earn coins when this comment was posted(in the shop, my mouse moves together with the background, and there’s no interaction with the cards—is it that I’m playing the game incorrectly?), so I didn’t enjoy playing very much.
The voice seems to be playing something, but it doesn’t seem to contribute to my progress. I’m sorry for leaving such a sharp critique.
*I hope you can have a gameplay video so I can see how it is actually played. I comment this way because many people got stuck playing my game, so I recorded a walkthrough video myself.*
Good luck and consider the suggestions in the comments! Much appreciated. Final1BchangedGif2.gif

Hmm, either I did something wrong, or the inventory doesn't allow me to view collected cards? Looked the same no matter how many I bought. I played the webgl version.
I liked the elevator to switch between locations, and the walk-around-the-pole job, it was a proper amount of silly  Good voiceovers too!

The card collection system is really enjoyable! With 41 unique cards, there's a substantial amount of content to discover, which really extends the playtime in a satisfying way.
I also loved the voice acting — it complements the on-screen action perfectly.
Some minor notes: The camera's up-down rotation feels a bit unusual (almost like the character is tilting), and there were moments where I could see through walls and objects.
Overall, great concept! Even though I didn't complete the full collection, I had fun and think this idea has real potential for further development.

Very funny and serves good playing experience! Sounds, music and simple gameplay! What do we need more to have a great evening, right? ^)
