That WIN song was amazing. Voice acting at the beginning was great. Very cute little hamster. Falling could be a little too fast or a little too slow at times, but overall it felt really good!

Wow, what a pretty game! Loved this. That second level was super strange to figure out though. I think you might want to say something about how to do the power in the description because I thought everytime it said "restart" that I had failed and locked myself in a room. I had no idea the shadow sword could win for me. Great game though!
Super neat idea! Everything worked great and the dynamic music was a wonderful addition. Level 12 seemed too easy compared to what came before it. Also the levels that were all red made me feel a little dizzy. Other than that, no complaints at all, and I'm blown away by how quick you got that all done.
Ok, I have a few things to saw about this. First, sometimes the sword from the front looks like a wiener. Second, those meatloaf cupcakes are vicious. Third, the art style on this game is so cool and original. I love the 2D/3D look. And just in general, there is a lot this game has going for it. The penalties for getting touched can be a bit extreme sometimes, especially with the final boss since there are so many guys before him. I can tell there was a lot of inspiration from dark souls and I mean that in a very good way.
Wow! That was an absolute joy to play through. I was not expecting such a well made unsettling horror game from the cover and title of this game. I think the best part was that I wasn't expecting it though, so well done on you guys! I kept playing through a few levels after I finished the game wondering if there was more to it, but I didn't see any changes so I closed it up. Overall, fantastic job.
Super interesting! I loved the story and wished I had chosen the right color wire at the end. Well, not sure if there was a right wire. But great job! Font was a little hard to read and I ran into a couple bugs. The woman on the phone's name always came up as a bunch of symbols (the words blue and diane were in there), and after I talked to the woman on the phone and she got disconnected, the text box kept showing up with what looked like the most recent text displayed. Luckily it didn't stop me from progressing.
Very cute, deceptively hard! Great job!
WHAT A TWIST! Dang I hope more people stick around for the ending than how it looks in the comments. Fantastic job you guys.
Cute penguin! Overall its a bit tedious to play though. I don't think I'm ever going to have enough money to buy stuff from the shop. I think there's far too few collectible coins in there. But great job otherwise!
Super cute, love the changing visuals! After you get 3 totems, it seemed like the world just restarted...did I lose the game or is that the end? I don't think I hit all 12 sacrifices because I didn't see that red world that is in your screenshots. Great game though!
Very cool physics in the game and I love the slow down time ability. I think that there's a puzzle in there that is unbeatable. I did the time slow and I even got really good with the "fart freeze" advanced technique, as I like to call it. I still couldn't beat the one with the fast hoop on top and the box blocking the small passage under. The dash just wasn't long enough to get through and I wasn't able to chain 2 dashes together in slo mo. Maybe I'm missing something, but I would love to have beaten it. Otherwise, great job! I really loved it.
Very cute project! Loved the little TV talking to you. Had some real personality! I missed a lot of what he said when the exit wasn't blocked out though. Fun ending too :)
Very cool game! Its a fun and unique idea and not too challenging. I beat it on my first try, granted I watched you play it first so I think it was a little easier maybe. That's awesome you were able to make it in such a short amount of time.
Wow that game was too smart for me
Very interesting idea! Hamster was very cute.
Pretty fun! Was there anything to do after 32 rings? I couldn't find anything else. I have to say, I spent more time on the final ring above the tree than I did on all the other 32 rings. Great job!
Very cool graphics! I love the mechanic, but it can be a little tricky to hit some of these guys since they just teleport out of the way of the very slow moving projectile. Overall, very good entry!
Very pretty game. Some of the puzzles were a little too unforgiving maybe. It seemed like the messages were inspiring, but I died so many times I stopped reading them :( great message though! It felt good to see the final screen at the end!
So I think there is a good foundation here for something, but overall there wasn't much of a challenge. It was a little strange that the color was random that it chose as far as I could tell. Great game though!
I like the improvements on this one! It's come a long way since the Vimjam in only a couple weeks. I'm excited to see where it goes in the future! I think you're supposed to opt out of the graphics rating though if it was made prior to the jam or at least be transparent to the voters that it was made prior.
Rule: You’re free to use 3rd party Artwork/Music/Audio assets, or assets you previously created, but we ask that you OPT-OUT of the respected voting categories (Graphics, Audio). You can opt-out of a voting category when you submit your game.
Very cute, EPIC music! The main character's feet made me chuckle. I got a high score of 104! Beat that people. First jump is a bit of a doozy though. Once you learn the timing on that, the rest of the game is a piece of cake and it doesn't seem to get harder from there.
Fun game! I liked the flying mechanics
Very cute minigames. I have to say that they aren't all immediately intuitive on how to play. Some direction in game would be useful, especially the grocery minigame and the planting minigame.
Very cool! That was a beautiful looking bloody menu and the enemy spawning animation was fantastic. I couldn't figure out what to do on the arrow. I thought maybe the elevator door would work but I couldn't get it to. Was that a bug? Great game!
Wow, I was wondering what I could do with that blender 3D donut tutorial that I made, but you figured it out! Put a policeman on top of it, shoot candy canes with rocket launches and don't get hit by giant flamethrowers. Well done!
Super cool, though I can't figure out. If I get to the green missle guy in the middle, is that the end of the game? Very cool!
Very cute! Was it really the end? I slow motion effect was great and all the little cars were adorable.
I'm sorry...I couldn't figure out how to play. It looks like an escape room, but I just couldn't figure out what to do. Is there any kind of hint system?
I love it! It's like a flappy bird with additional layer of complexity. It doesn't seem like it changes much in difficulty as you progress, but maybe I just didn't get far enough. Great job though!
The game is not going anywhere...I can't figure out if this is trolling or not. Did you intentionally upload a game that is stuck in a For loop and unable to be played? Props for creativity if that's the case.
Very cool way of using the loop, and I liked that it interacted with your character very well. A few bugs, particularly where you could fly off into infinity and the increased acceleration when on the corner of a wall. Overall fantastic job!
To everyone who has commented so far: Thanks so much for playing my game! This is my first Ludum Dare and I’m happy that everyone is being so kind and respectful.
I looked at the rules and it allowed for bug fixes, so I think I took care of the teleportation collision bug and reuploaded. So that’s being noted here!
Regarding the theme: it definitely made more sense in my head when I was planning the game. In practice, it was just way more fun with a varied terrain, though the levels all take up the same space, same start and same end.
And thank you all for your helpful feedback!
That was a blast, love it! Those little people are so happy to go to their deaths.

The game looks and feels really great. I'm like 99% sure though that the game didn't know how many things were actually there though lol maybe I'm just dumb. But great job!
So I really really enjoyed this game. It reminds me a bunch of Super Hexagon actually, in fact it basically is Super Hexagon from a first person perspective, which I think is a really neat idea. The gameplay is extremely addicting and constantly makes you want to give it another go, and I eventually had to move on after about 45 minutes of failed attempts. I think you did a wonderful job implementing the 3D and the mood of the game is great. I definitely have a few concerns though. For one, I think this is way too hard to a jam game. I went through and watched your stream of the game to see if you were able to beat it and if even you can't beat it the majority of the time, it probably needs a bit of tweaking because we certainly aren't going to be able to beat it.
There's a couple areas that are a bit unfair I think, and it seems most of the reviews agree. While there is a solution to the 3 hole wall, I don't think the way it's implemented is very fair to the player. The graphics can make it really hard to discern the solution with the low res textures (not that I have a problem with the textures in general, just in this one specific part). It makes it too difficult to see the solution and react within a reasonable time frame unless you get really lucky. This could probably be solved by slowing down this area in some way so the player can see the textures up close a bit before smacking into the wall, even if you were to only slow down in this area.
The other big area I think needs some tweaking are the areas where there are tiny gaps you need to squeeze through on opposite ends in both the first and second area. For most of these there are times when it is unreasonable to make it to the other side due to the constant rotation of the path. Most of the time when I made this, I was partially clipped into the wall already which felt like I probably wasn't supposed to be doing this.
I few small areas that could be improved as well: If you hit an outer wall in the main game you just bounce off, but if you hit it in the tunnel you die. This doesn't feel quite right because sometimes due to the spinning of the path, you'll feel like you're drifting to one side and want to correct your path, but it will usually kill you. In the area with the wooden doors where you have to press the button, it doesn't make sense that you can ram into the button but nothing else in the game. If you're going to use this mechanic, it's probably best to present it to the player in an earlier area. It doesn't look like something you should be able to bounce off of so I can imagine a lot of people losing a run to this.
Starting back at the beginning every single time can be a really big pain, especially when you're trying to learn patterns. For example, the 3 hole puzzle was so hard to figure out because I only sometimes ran into it, and sometimes I would get pretty far into the path before it showed up, and for the first dozen runs I just figured it was a death sentence every time I saw it. I eventually gave up because I kept dying at the second round of rocks in the 3rd area and it would just take so long to do the first 2 areas every single time. Because of this, I never had a chance to learn the pattern and just got really frustrated.
Anyway, hope this essay was a fun read. Overall, I really enjoyed your game. Thanks for streaming our games! It was a blast watching your playthrough of my mostly mediocre entry :)
Ok, first of all, the game and the art is beautiful. The music is fantastic and ALMOST made me want to continue to the end. Secondly and lastly, what the heck dude?? No one has this kind of patience. I'm trying to get through like 50 of these games. So yes, I lose the game. But come on man, why
Dang couldn't get this to work. Looked fun though! Here's a screenshot: image_2021-04-27_183551.png
I had a fair bit of fun with this one, though there's certainly some problems as well. Once you've gotten your first few upgrades, it's near impossible to get any more. The radar doesn't show far enough out and it's almost always the most profitable just to nosedive instead of looking for anything. I think I got a turtle one time which was great, but other than that most of my fish got me next to nothing and took a lot of time to pivot around to grab. Overall though I actually did enjoy this entry quite a bit and would like to see how this concept could be explored more.
So I got to the part where I had both orbs and the water was slowly rising and then I drowned. It killed me and it was really scary. I really enjoyed the game up until I got the orb...then it became a real chore to play unfortunately. I'm guessing that was the point, but it wasn't really fun. Lot's of mechanics that baffled me a bit from a game design standpoint. But overall I think the art was great and all the mechanics until you got the orb I enjoyed quite a bit.

Loved this game! I would play the heck out of this on mobile. The controls are a bit weird in the menu and take some getting used to, but overall it is a great entry. Love the art, sound, and general design of it.

Sorry man, I really couldn't figure this one out :/
Sorry tried to give it a shot, couldn't get it to work :/
I'll start off by saying it is really impressive that you were able to get all of this done on a PICO 8 within the 48 hour time frame. Of all the pico games I've played, I think this is the largest in scale that I've ever played! Love the dialogue system and all of the cute references to Spongebob, action movies, moby dick, etc. The one thing that was a little tough for me was figuring out where the heck I was supposed to go. The very first guy had me take him to the vents, and I had absolutely no idea where that was or even if I was supposed to take him there. I wandered around aimlessly for awhile, then ultimately found the vents about 10 seconds before time was up. I think an arrow pointing to where you need to go is essential for a taxi game because a player has no idea where these things are. Overall though, I think this was fantastic
@mduo13 thanks! The stars increase your fire rate. It’s by such a small amount you would never notice until you’ve collected 5 or 6 of them. Appreciate the feedback!
@bw-devel wow, thanks for the detailed feedback! You’re totally right, I should have added some upgrades and a high score save. It honestly wasn’t even me running out of time, I just got really lazy at the end and figured it was good enough lol and the bug you mentioned is something I hadn’t even considered, but I did notice that being a problem when I’m up high. I’ll have to look into a good way to fix that.
@generalsturgeon thanks! Honestly the music was the first thing I made and then I designed the whole game around it, so that means a lot :) and yeah, the bullets are really annoying, I’ll have to fix that for my next game.
@pxldev i appreciate the feedback! I was hoping the controls were basic enough that I could leave that off of the screen, so its good to hear i still need to consider it. thanks!
@max-xd thanks! That means a lot :)
@acuriosity thank you! This was some great feedback as I honestly hadn’t considered track pad users. I’ll have to make sure that’s an option in future games. For the little maze sections where you have to follow the path, I physically drew out a bunch of designs and the game just chose from one of I think 4 options. Gms2 has a setting for the collision mask where you can make it precise per frame, so I used that for the collision masks and it did all of that for me.
@reheated thank you! I was going for a tense vibe, so glad that it worked :)
@bauke-regnerus thanks! The explosion took awhile so I’m glad it worked for you.
@shaunjs thank you! It was great being on your stream!
Like I said before, game is wonderful and I love the 2D /3D thing it’s doing. Great game!

Very cool idea, though I have to say it doesn't seem like there's much to it once you get about 2 meters in. I don't understand what the point of the nutrients are since you can create vines without out it. It was really hard to understand how to play based on the instructions as well. I didn't feel it was clear that if you just click the dirt, your root will keep growing in the same spot it was already in and it felt like the game was bugging out. I think automatically updated you to the next root that was just created would solve this, then the player could choose the older root if necessary. Cool game though!
Beat the game, very cool idea. I like the dowsing rods and the cool meters. I didn't really understand the point of the temperature. The last level with the hidden sparks was a little frustrating as well. And I didn't understand the cat guy at the end. But overall, I dug it!
Cool game! It’s like an angry birds strategy game. I really dig it! I found it was more fun to get a lower score rather than a higher score by making every thing onto each other, maybe that was the intended way to play? Great job!
Super interesting idea for a game! I think everyone was well presented and it was fun to try and manage everything, though sometimes it was hard to figure out what to do next. Fantastic entry and fun twist on the theme!
Super clever take on the theme with some really fun gameplay! I absolutely loved it. Great job!
Nice job! Felt like an isometric half life, though the sanity meter reminded me of Amnesia. Very cool game!
Super neat game! I keep wanting to him the oogie boogie song from nightmare before Christmas while I look at the dice. Great game! Takes a while to understand how to play but it’s very enjoyable when you get the hang of it
Cute, fun game! I love some silliness in a game and this did it for me.
I love the art, excellent use of color. Game is great!
Hilarious premise for a game. The title of it alone brings me joy. Super fun interpretation of the theme as well!
Cool puzzle game! Love the art
Awesome job! I ran into similar issues of not really understanding how to play but that’s pretty standard with games that aren’t just a point and shoot type deal. Real cute graphics for the little players!
Nice job! I particularly liked when my washing machine would fly off into outer space while spinning faster than could ever humanly be possible so that the water all just turned back into its molecular form. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get past the second level...it was just too hard to get up those steps. But had a ton of fun!
I mean full marks for theme here. I would have loved more horse centric games this jam but you’re the first one I’ve seen. Fun game!
Super cool game! I loved the saturated graphics! Very cute art style with a fun twist on a Tetris/stacking game. Awesome work
Neat game with a clever idea! It’s a little heavy on info, probably don’t need more than a sentence or two to explain what’s going on and then figure it out while you play, but fun game for sure!
Oooo what a neat mood. Perfect post processing effects! Fun game!
What a blast (pun intended). Great art and great game!
Fantastic work for a first jam! I remember mine was a real doozy. Great job! The speed thing as well as other small tweaks come with time so don’t sweat them at all
Game was super cool, love the art. The tutorial is a bit bloated though
Nice job! There was a whole mountain of text at the beginning that I kind of skipped through, but the mini games were fun and the pipe one was especially well done!
Nice game with some cool horror elements! It’s hard to get that across sometimes with the low detail sprites so nice work stepping up to the challenge!
Awesome game! I gave it like 6 runs since only my last 2 or 3 I felt like I knew what I was doing and the last two I managed to get to day time the second day, but beyond crafting some nice weapons I really couldn't figure out what to do...art and music is beautiful though and the game itself really takes advantage of some cool things in GMS2! The hands are also super creepy...nice job with those :D
Edit: I had an idea while I was writing to **use the fire** and got some cool results, I can see you addressed bigger inventory as an upgrade which is super cool! I even got a second backpack which it didn't seem like I could do anything with. Anyway I couldn't really figure out if there was an endgame, but what was here was fantastic. Nice job!
Awesome job! The art style here is clean and fun. Shooting arrows felt great. I ended up getting stuck in a collision when a health pack came in, but overall the game was good fun :)
I loved the music and the visuals here! The dynamic camera really helped everything pop. I’m a big fan of rhythm games, though like the guy above said the order of the arrows threw me off a bit. Great work!
Delightful game! While the gameplay is nothing new, the audio commentary elevates it a ton and makes the game a real gem. Love it!
Epic game! I like the way it looks, upgrade system is great. Just saw your interview, nice job!
Well I ended up doing great until that sleeping mini game...dang throwing in the other keys turns it into a typing game (and I'm terrible at typing lol) I did fantastic at the bike though. Great game! image_2022-04-05_214233.png
This game is fun and disgusting and I love it. The timer can be a bit strict but not too terrible
Oh wow that was a blast lol I'm still not 100% sure I got to the end but I certainly went through quite the roller coaster. I did some bad things today. You almost lost me with buscuits, then with the Nazi section, but I made it through. To be honest it was harder to beat for me than Radahn. Had a good laugh though :D
Cool game! The graphics are absolutely fantastic. The fire effect and the shadows are just perfect. Sound design was on point. Would have loved to see a little bit more to do, but overall great job :)
@daniel-foutz Thanks so much for playing it! And you were playing on a controller, right? I didn't test on that and I think I found a big bug using the joystick, so thanks for catching that! Just fixed and reuploaded a build.
And so far the best I've done is 249, but I just got a message from a friend that got 1447, i don't know if anyone will be able to beat that lol image_2022-04-04_125315.png
@mateu haha you’re awesome man. And yep I actually did something similar today and it inspired me to work on a post jam version that speeds up the bubbles as you keep going and limits the bonus you can get from combos. But so far it’s just you me and one other guy who have run into that, so maybe that means the difficulty is good for the jam but could be tweaked for post jam?
@arihan10 thanks for playing! I think that’s certainly a way of thinking about it, though the timer will never stop so you are always delaying, never stopping, the inevitable. Although I think currently it’s a bit too easy to get a huge amount of time so I’ve updated that for future builds.
@zimny11 i appreciate the feedback! You can actually pause with escape and return to the main menu, and the main menu has the quit button. Good feedback though to have a quit button on the pause menu. Or did the pause menu not work? If so I’ll have to figure that out.
Lol that was insane, trying to survive on a place thats getting blown to bits is a fantastic use of the theme. Had some weird collision bugs, but other than that it was smooth sailing. Great work!
Game is great, but I immediately sell as soon as the coin gets to 50k and have to close the game and start a new coin.I got to look out for number one, know what I'm saying?
JK love this game, screw crypto lol
Shoot! I accidentally skipped past the final screen telling me my results. Overall it was such a unique and interesting premise. Really made me think about what I found important, at least once I had stopped just granting people immortality to literally everyone. I think given an infinite amount of time, I wouldn't have thought to make a game like this. Great job :)
Got a score of 118. Getting flashbacks to Elden Ring...stay away crabs!!! Nice job with the game, cute little crabs going for the strawberry, just enough nonsense for a great game. Getting that Tesla was a mistake though.
Dang, well I played it about 10 times and still couldn't beat it. The one hit kill death is a bit harsh, would have loved maybe 2 or 3 hit points, especially since sometimes you can get blindsided from behind you. I love the 3D models and cutscenes, though I also wish they were skippable, particularly the end on since the game reset takes forever. Otherwise, I had a lot of fun!
I absolutely loved the dragon that would pop up occassionally a make me poo my pants. The art is beautiful. Nice work!
Neat game! I managed to get to an area that had plants and then there were 2 enemies that were above and below each other in such a way that no matter what I tried I just couldn't get past them. It was so sad to see everyone dying though lol. Nice job!
