Love the visuals and story! Great game.
Fun little take on a "fly through the rings" type game. Controls are a little jumpy so hard to make small adjustments, but great concept
Amazing game, it got story, great sounds, humor, its all u can wish for, for a game made in 48 hours.
Great graphics and well made. I found it a bit too hard. The controls are a bit too sensitive. Good luck.
Really good! I like the way the little rat talk to you, reminds me of Star Fox. A pixel-perfect filter and volume sliders would be a great addition in my opinion! Other than that, good job.
Great, I am a disappointment.
Thanks a bunch for checking it out and for the feedback! @panacea, @stuartc, @thoastbot, @linus-lindberg, @caue-henrique, @godsboss.
Great game!
It works well to manage the energy from weapons and the mining laser, while trying to avoid tentacles and mine gold as long as possible.
I would prefer if the weapon would one hit enemies, it’s a little annoying trying to spam pressing when they are closing in on you. And maybe if the stamina would recover faster when you do nothing.
Other than that, very playable game!
Yep it is definitely not easy and to simplify a bit would make the game more accessible, ^^ @ristoretto touched the point.
I got little trouble with the tiny fonts, especially when you want to read what your commander has to say in the middle of action. But I have already tired eyes from the LD weekend.
Overall I was impressed, started with nice starfield simulation, then onwards with very nice tunnel run, using such a simple but smart way of implementing it - like old games used limited hardware capabilities to make 3d feeling with sprites.
And optional but detailed tutorial, included as a checkbox in main menu? You are a hero.
I've never seen a cockpit shooter in this pseudo-3D art style. I really like it, it looks fantastic. The music is also nice and punchy. Bonus points for having a tutorial, that doesn't happen often in compo. It could have used some more enemy types and maybe a couple more mechanics, but you've got a really solid concept and executed it really well. Nice work!
Cool game. Loved the visuals and audio. I'm terrible at balancing what I should shoot at and when I should recharge. The mouse is always dissapointed in me :( Great job!
Thanks for checking it out @ristoretto, @onnofal and @wheffle. Appreciate the feedback!
@venezia Still happens to me even though I've been playtesting throughout the weekend:P. Thanks for trying it out!
This was really fun! I would like to give props not only for an impressive 3d creation with a nice artstyle, but also for making a first-person game with good-feeling controls. I know this is a personal opinion(?) but I tend to get motion sickness on first-person jam-type games, but I didn't feel that at all here! The audio was also good and the characters and narrative elements were appealing as well.
This was fantastic! I appreciated the opening explanation, which went over the controls and how to play, but gave room to the player to explore how to play well and get a higher score as they flew deeper. The graphics were especially good and oozed style, and the way your created depth popped out of the screen the moment the game officially started.
Great stuff. Well done! Nice addition of the tutorial! I found the difficulty to be quite high. I would have liked a slower ramp up in the difficulty curve - maybe by spacing out the worms more at first or increasing the width of the tunnel. Would love to see a version with tunnel branching and a minimap! Endless possibilities for improvements to this! Well done again!
✔️ Very unique graphics, nice mix of 2d and 3d.
✔️ Very intuitive gameplay, picked it up real quick.
✔️ Good difficulty curve.
➖ Sometimes when I got hit, it would go into a chain reaction of getting hit, and I would almost instantly die.
Thanks @phthalogold, @kirbloid, @tim77 and @rngames for checking it out. Really appreciate the feedback!
Catchy music. Gameplay is smooth. Love the squeaks.^^
I enjoyed the rat voices :) The game reminded me somewhat of the tunnel sections in starfox. Really well done, great job!
I played your game! Check it out! https://youtu.be/DHfy_7ZtjHk
Love the squeaks too. Cutie little rat, funny little game. I will play it sometimes to cheer up
Nice idea! A very creative game! The only thing I can complain about is the lack of ways to skip the first dialog :P
@mighty-mufflon-games, @yeomsley, @woolchara: Thanks a bunch for trying it out! Glad you enjoyed it!
@gnevesdev: Deselecting the tutorial in the menu will give you only one short dialog before the action begins. Thanks for trying it!
@barelyevengames: Thank you so much for the very kind words and feedback! First time I ever saw someone I don't know play a game I've made. Felt a bit surreal but in a good way. Cheers a bunch for checking it out and including it in your stream!
I like the game, very creative, but i want a method to skype the first dialog
@a0m1n3zone Thanks for trying it! You can skip the tutorial dialog by deselecting the tutorial box in the menu (it's on by default).
I like the style of the tunnel itself. It's so well made! The game is great and it was fun to play it. For some feedback: it would be nice to make the on-screen text bigger, as the helping rat is often trying to say something important during the tense driving and you can miss the message. Overall it's a great and polished entry. Well done!
@bereg Thanks for the feedback and for checking it out!
Nice graphics and music, but the sound effect its a bit annoying. I went until 14, not soo good , congrats for the game
Yaay compo! It was really well done! The effect of going into the 3D tunnel was well thought!
