So cool art! Guys, the game makes you to play it again and again, and it's even fun:) Couple of bugs to fix and and it will be incomparable
The artwork is really nice for this game, but it's really difficult to play because of the controls/prompts which makes it very punishing to get past the first 10/20 seconds, oh well... I guess I can strike off "robot maid" from my list of possible future careers :'(
The art was really cool, kept me engaged for a long while. It was also very hard however, and with no end line in sight I had no idea if I was doing well. Some games for me also meant instant death, the baby game took way to long, and with each minigame having different controls, it was a little tedious to move my hands so much lmao. Really cool idea and some good execution! Nice work!
Real nice game, Took me a few rounds to get the hang of it. The art atmosphere and theme are very nice the game is overall great expect a little bit hard to control. good job! :D
Beautiful pixel work and animation. I adore the character design and all the little details in the environment. I like the little minigames you have to play too. Controls are a little awkward switching from arrow keys to IJKL. I think it would be okay to use WASD to move the Maid instead of the arrow keys since you need to press E to interact anyway. I would love to see an expanded version of this with different houses and different minigames added. Music and sound would really elevate the game a lot. Great job!
Hi~Nice art,I can get the humor of the game.I played the version on the itch.io. I think if I can get more information about the "10" counter on the robot maid's head, I will be more relieved.
So, this game definitely needs audio. Love the minigames, thank you for the guide book. The art is absolutely gorgeous, especially the portrait of the team, great idea. Good job, keep it going!
The art in the game is great! Good movement through the house - but the gameplay was very hard to follow, it was hard to know if the challenges were successful or not. In the post-LD version I always fail before there is any challenge? Sound FX would help a lot on player feedback. And music for mood.
Lots of potential here!
Cool idea, the control are but difficult to get accustomed to and I would suggest to put them in-game, cannot expect someone to switch from game to manual to play, especially when you are in a hurry. A part from that, good entry overall!
I truly like the art and the idea of the game
The art and mood was really cool, kept me engaged for a long while. Really cool idea and some good execution! God job!
I couldn't get the interactions to work, but the graphics are great, really love the mixture of pixel art and the crayon/pastel style for the rest of the menus etc.
++Edit, I got the interaction working very cool , the windows and the mini-game thing . I think maybe 10 seconds to deal with the problem, rather than 10 second charge would be cool -as its' REALLY hard to get back to base. :grimacing:
The graphics of the game are beautifully drawn, and the mini-games are fun and inventive. The baby-feeding game could use a little more feedback, ie. when you push a button, it tells you if you succeeded or not, but right now it kind of keeps score in the background. Also, being unable to abandon a game to recharge is very punishing. Finally, be careful about what keys you have the player mashing. I kept having my computer pop of the sticky keys prompt because of pressing shift 5 times. Great little game, could certainly be a fun collection of mini-games with a bit of polish.
Really cute art style! I'm sure you guys already know the major issue is with the controls, but you might also consider giving players longer than 10s battery life. Maybe incorperate the theme another way
Artwork is really good. Some sounds, just very basic ones would benefit this game a lot. I kept ending up in the trash, don't know why, seems like I've been doing every task.
Very interesting concept! I think the artwork is really cute and I really want to get into this game, but I think the game does a poor job of telling you what to do and what the controls even are. On your description page it says e to interact but I had to press spacebar to start the game, and then when I was in the game I was trying to mash buttons but nothing seemed to be happening. The game just ends in 10 seconds for me. I think the idea and concept has so much potential and from what I gather *I think* I'm supposed to be performing house tasks every 10 seconds to avoid being thrown out, but ultimately I couldn't enjoy this game because I had no idea what to do or what I could interact with...
Amazing game. Really catchy graphics. Some work can be done from the gameplay side and can be a made a bit more complex. I think the 10 second rule did redistricted a lot of possibilities. You should try to remove the ten second rule and add a little more complex mechanic in the game, that is if you planning it to take further. Overall good job and all the best. Please do check out my submission as well.
That's a cool idea and cool visuals !!!
I think the artwork is beautiful and the premise is funny and promising, but the controls really kill the game for me. I don't know if it's intentional, but I had to move my hands all around the keyboard just to play, which is really frustrating for a first-time player. Move with arrow keys, but then I have to water the plants with WASD? And now I have to fold laundry with IJKL? E is to interact but Space is to confirm? And I can restart the game with Enter? C is to cut but nothing else? I could understand the crazy controls if you were stationary and had to remember which button did which action, but since you're always in a discrete minigame, I don't see why there couldn't be a single unified control scheme.
And having to recharge every 10 seconds seems like an unnecessary step. Seems to me like "there's a new minigame every 10 seconds, do it or you're fired" would have been a satisfactory game loop.
@jag the main thought of the game is that you need to recharge your battery every 10 seconds getting the robo nanny on the charge station (i hope you checked the photoshopped photo of our game above, where we said about it..). the e button for interaction is still valid! you can checked our last post ld51 version (named as 3.1-builds on itch.io) for a better experience! controls are still hard to, unfortunately, but we hope you'll enjoy!
@callofas22 you can play our post ld51 version (named as 3.1-builds on itch.io) for a better experience, where we also added UI for the robo nanny battery (that was a purpose for a 10 second encounter at the first place)!
@johnnysix @baylock @niterich @paul-avallone @skullsprigs thank you for your suggestions as players and for giving us advices for upgrading mechanics of the game. we'll take it in consideration, but i guess, if tutorial was added, the game would be less punishing >< anyway, you can play our last post ld51 version for a better experience (named as 3.1-builds on itch.io). it still need to be polished a little bit, but we added more mini-games, implemented some UI (battery charge and E button for interactions). thanks for your reviews!

I was so confused why I couldn't interact with anything and always end up in trash until I found that I need to stand in the charge station. I think there should be some sort of guide like text or an arrow to show where to go for new players. Overall a pretty good game beside the lack of instruction in-game. Good job guys!
Graphics catchy, very atmospheric drawn!
Great looking graphics. Unfortunately the game was pretty unplayable (at least the first update). To me it seemed you 50/50 lose the game straight away when the timer runs out, and before the first tick you really cannot do anything but move.. I got to try out one mini-game but no input was read and I ended up losing.
As far as the controls go, I think you should give a comprehensive list of controls if you do list them. For example, let the players know how to proceed from the menu (using space, I assumed E as it was listed as a interaction). I'm not too worried about the mini-game buttons as you can see available buttons in-game.
I think the concept is nice, though. Hopefully functional game will be available later (idk if the latest update is it).
Good job.
