I really loved the music. It was catchy without getting repetitive and reminded me of old SNES games in a really good way. The art style is also fun and cohesive, which made everything feel polished.

The game started to make more sense after a bit, but I think the tutorial could be clearer. Since the first level has both red and blue buildings, it would help to show examples of both right away. I also didn’t realize at first that channeling affects not just the targeted region but adjacent ones too, so calling that out more directly might help.

This might just be a skill issue on my part, but I found the real-time aspect made it harder for me to reason through what I was doing. Keeping track of connectivity and color choices, especially with two channels, felt a bit overwhelming in real time, and it made the game harder to play for me.

I really like the art, music, and SFX! I also like the gameplay, but I think I ran into a bug? The first time I played, I couldn't get the happiness meter to go down at all. I refreshed the page and the second time playing it started to work how I would expect. It seemed to come back on the second level though, unfortunately. I also tried to download the Linux build to see if it was just a web build issue, but itch has flagged the page and wouldn't let me download...

Other than those strange issues, I really like what you're going for. Nice work!

I really really like this one, but unfortunately ran into a bug on the final level where the happiness wouldnt decrease D:

I still played for a while and tried to do the best I could, confident to say I probably would have won at that point. Either way still really good, I enjoyed it a lot!

The art is really sick! Something about the mix of static and moving retro sprites unlocked a forlorn memory of stumbling upon a flash game on an late Saturday evening in my childhood - excellent.

I guess there is a bug that makes happiness drain not being triggered, so I couldn't finish the level, tried several times too.. But I really like how the game looks and feels. Concept how it SHOULD work also clear and visible. Wish I could see more :(

Good game! Graphics, music and design are solid. The happiness bar is confusing though. I couldn't understand how many buildings do I exactly need to ruin for it to start decreasing.

First try I had a bug that stopped happiness from decreasing. After realoading the site, I could beat the first level, but had the same bug on the second level. It's a bummer, because I loooove everything about your vision here! The title of your game alone promised a good time already, the great art and the mischievous music (and voice sfx!!) come together really well for scheming saturday morning cartoon villain energy and the core mechanic is super fun!

the atmosphere is top-notch! a main anti-hero, some bopping tunes, epic retro graphics

for gameplay, I think I also got stuck by the happiness-locking bug so the people were quite happy watching their least favorite TV channels for some reason...

Unfortunately i regret to inform you all, it is not a bug. Its our fault that it wasnt tutorialed properly or wasnt reworked to be more simple. We ran out of time.

Each house that has an icon over it and either be happy or sad. Theyre sad if you are giving them the channel they hate. This is when there's a checkmark, indicating you did it right.

For each house that Shneebly is ruining the city loses 3 happiness per second. The houses that arent being ruined increases happiness by 1 per second.

To win youll need to maintain at least a 3:1 ratio which can be tricky because the house demands change at random intervals and start randomized. In some cases, for a random amount of time, it may not be possible to progress, youll have to wait until more favorable circumstances appear. Level 2 and 3 have different ratios.

The dev team was able to beat the game fully but its not an easy task. Sorry about that folks! Thanks for checking it out and the great feedback on all aspects of the game.

Okay first of all I'd die for Schneebly. Love 'em. The music was absolutely banging and the art style really cool, it's a beautiful game. But I had a very tough time figuring out what to do, and once I got the hang of it, like others, I often couldn't seem to make the happiness go down.

I'll just end up mirroring what a lot of others already said but I enjoyed the full package of the art and music. Fun character design too.

I struggled to efficiently play and got stuck on the second level unable to make the happiness meter move. Still had a good time and think there are some good bones on this game!

Great job to the team!

I did not understand my assignment and I could never get movement on the happiness bar. The police ended up idling at the end of a path and I'm not sure what happened.

Presentation is fantastic. I loved the visuals, the music, the vibes. I just wish I could understand more what I was trying to accomplish and how to get there.

The game's concept is great! It uses the theme in an original and fun way.

The graphics are very well done and colorful. I imagine that if they had more time they would have balanced things a little better. Everything having the same saturation made it a little difficult to understand what was happening at times.

The music and SFX are very good. You can even just stand still listening to the music.

I couldn't get past the purple monster level. I tried everything: only red, only blue, only purple, and nothing. I even tried orange to see if I hadn't misunderstood, but nothing. The happiness meter didn't move. I tried for about 10 minutes and gave up.

Anyway, congratulations to everyone on the team.
