What a cute and clever game! I love all the puzzles you managed to squeeze into this in such a short amount of time, and with really cool solutions too!

What a cute and clever game! I love all the puzzles you managed to squeeze into this in such a short amount of time, and with really cool solutions too!
This is great. Nice color palette with cute, readable graphics. The music is great and I love that you were able to play a real instrument for it. I quit at puzzle 12, but these are really well designed and the first few levels do a great job introducing the mechanics. 48 hours well spent, very nice work!
Very cool idea, really like the puzzles and the concept. Music is great too, very relaxing.
I failed on level 12.
Definitely would make for a nice mobile game if you develop post-compo, great work for doing it with your own engine too!
Very well made.
I was meaning to play this, actually. I was going to play just one before I go to bed, and it looks like I've chosen well. It's been awhile since I've played a puzzle game. Inspires me to make my own puzzle game, too. It's one thing to play puzzles - quite another to make them.

That was tough! I was able to make it through every level though with some persistence. Every level felt really well thought out. I was surprised none of them felt like throwaway levels which is very common in LD puzzle games. The music is probably some of the best I've ever heard in a LD entry. While I was playing I was thinking to myself "Wait, does this music ever loop?"
I really liked this game!
Nice complete game. Impressive amount of content (puzzles).
Another cassowary banger. Just knocking it out of the park every LD.
Wasn't sure about the puzzle potential at first but you wring a lot out of the fan mechanic. Up to level 11 (will be returning later when I have time) and every level so far has been delightful and instructive.
Beautiful sax playing! The game would be charming without it but it's really the cherry on top.
First LD53 game I've played and I doubt anything else is gonna top this, tbh.
This one is my favourite so far! The gameplay is really unique. And the music is so relaxing. I'd really love to see this turned into a full release after the jam is over.
I think this might be the winner. Very nice level design that gradually teaches how to play. Challenging puzzles. Love the graphics, sounds, music, flying animation. Got stuck on level 11 but loved it anyway!
Very polished game. Simple mechanics yet so many great puzzles. Fun game to play. Great submission
This game is awesome, cute graphics, the music is phenomenal and the puzzles are also great. Best I tried so far.
My favorite game in this jam so far. Its easy to pick up but gets pretty difficult after a while, well done!
Really cool levels, could have played way more, especially the loops inbetween are fun or when you needed a final setup for the last mailbox before getting the other ones. Gotta check out your other stuff for sure. Not much to add here. Maybe some cool mechanics like rotating blowers or you gotta get the mail before delivering. 5/5 for sure <3
image_2023-05-01_154259586.png You are showing everyone else in this jam up, love the jazz, love the art, and the puzzles are top notch
the pixel art is so cute, the puzzles are all really good and i'm impressed by how many of them there are. level 13 felt a little bit too hard, but other than that the game is really good
Very fun puzzle game. Some puzzles made me think for a bit, but not to difficult.
Awesome and fun puzzle game. Great art. Good difficulty on the puzzles too. Great entry! :bird: :mailbox_with_mail: Especially love that music. It's really relaxing. :notes: EDIT: I went back just earlier and finished the other puzzles. LudumDare53_Screenshot10.jpg
Got past the tutorial and towards the meat of the game, had to quit cause it was a little too intense for my peanut brain after game dev. The mechanics are great, the MUSIC - MY GOD THE MUSIC - nailed it. Fits the mood of the color too (cool). Design was good, art was good. Thanks.
Not even commenting on the gameplay, which was immaculate, the MUSIC and the ART was just fantastic. Fits this game so perfectly and gives such a great vibe. The art was incredible, and everything played so smoothly. Crazy impressive, one of the best entries so far.
Like what you did here, the character and the scenery fits perfectly together !

This was amazing, everything about it is so good.
I'm way too impatient for puzzle games, so I can't really say too much about the gameplay. The art and sound is just perfect though, everything fits together and feels so smooth. If I'd see this game on itch or similar, I would never guess it is a jam entry made in only two days. Well done.
The music, the mood, the gradual introduction to the games systems was fantastic. Great pacing and really complete game for a game jam. Well done
Very relaxing experience! The mood is great, even after I stopped playing I let the music play on the background for a while :) The visuals are cute and the puzzles are not too simple, not too hard... great entry overall.
Well.. I said "for a while" but the music is still playing :)
absolutely fantastic and clever! Loved the music as well! My favorite this jam so far! + That pigeon is really adorable.
Awesome game. I am proud to say I completed the whole thing. The puzzles were all very well made and had a nice increase difficulty. I really love the pigeons landing animation too
OOh this is lovely! I absolutely adore the artwork and audio, and what a wonderful core mechanic (deceptively complex). I think you did really well teaching the player the basic concepts and then iterating slowly on it with more and more complex level design. Great job!
Loved the music ! Lovely game, merci Anne-Marie !
So much fun, surely this will be a top contendor, great job
Such a fun and polished puzzle game! The music and graphics were really charming. Amazing work!
This was fun! I just wish the music wasn't interrupted after every level, but other than that it was a pleasant experience :)
Fantastic game! The music is great. The graphics are simple but beautyful. You did a great job with the puzzle-design - not too easy, not too hard - solving them was very satisfying.
There was only one thing I didn't like: When the "level-finished-music" interrupted the cool main music after each level.
such an amazing game oO
Very cool game!
Art is cute and stylish, music is just beautiful. I was a bit sad every time it was interrupted to congratulate me on finishing level.
Puzzle design is flowless, with a frequent "oh? a-haa!" moments. I wish there was option to choose level, so if you get stuck on one levels you can at least look at later ones.
Overall - great entry!
Nice game! nice and easy to understand concept. Neat visuals and audio, just wish some weren't as intrusive at times. Great job.
Got through all 16!
Loved listening to the smooth sax throughout.
The animation for flying between platforms was really satisfying.
Such a nice and polished game. I played it up to level 13, for now (will come back to it later). I would love to be able to adjust music volume (or increase volume of sound effects). Excellent job. Best entry so far. I really loved playing it. ❤️
Really liked this project! The music and Anne-Maire are charming The only think I would suggest is not to stop main theme playing when winnin or loosing. Kinda breakes that awesome vibe for me
The levels are awesome! I wish there were even more of them.
I will definitely let the tab open to continue listening to this awesome song. Perhaps a continuous mode where music does not stop when you finish a level because omg what a good vibe.
this was tricky already for my tiny brain

So cute I really enjoyed helping Anne-Marie deliver letters (such a precious little pigeon aaa)
That flight animation was suprisingly good! same for the music! The best part tho undeniably was the puzzles. They all had a good twist, 8 especially once I figured it out was incredibly satisfying! Only issue I'd say is the order of the puzzles, the last one definitely wasn't the hardest for me. And it was a bit long, maybe less puzzles for one extra mechanic could've been worth it idk. I still went through all 15 cus it was just THAT good
Nice work. Lovely music, cute art, and interesting puzzles. I think my favourite is #14.
Brilliant puzzles. Brilliant art. brilliant Music. brilliant game overall. Brilliant job
Best game I've played so far. Everything is awesome, no notes. The puzzles are legit great and that music is a bob.
I only had time to get to level 8. but daaaaang!
This is a great puzzle game!
That music is a vibe, amazing. Great puzzle game and really interesting use of the wind streams / cancelling them out, I really enjoyed this. Amazing!
Nice work! It seems like every event you manage to make a puzzle game that is completely new, yet somehow instantly recognizable as yours.
The wind mechanic is really interesting; it feels similar to the traditional slipper ice puzzles (a la Pokemon), but the way the air streams interact and the fact you have to fly into them from an angle make for some fresh puzzles.
The art and music were very nice and polished. I particularly liked the animation for gliding and then flapping right before landing --- feels very lifelike! I imagine you looked at some reference to nail that down. It was also great you managed to get a live instrument into your soundtrack (I might have to try to do that in a future jam...). The soundtrack, relaxed gameplay, and clean art all complement each other.
I drew Anne-Marie and added her to the pixel fan art compilation on [my profile.](https://ldjam.com/users/jeremy-ryan/)

Great job and good luck during the rest of play and rate!
@jeremy-ryan That's so awesome, thank you so much!! :)
Really lovely and well-put together game :) The puzzles were top notch! Great difficulty curve and fleshed out mechanics.
Pretty challenging game! Very lovely and satisfying to beat. Good job!
Love the puzzle gameplay and music. One feedback I have is that the next level music shouldn't interrupt the calm background music. Other than that, everything as perfect.
I love this so much!! Bird, chill jazz, and puzzle? Perfect combo!
The graphics are nice. The music is great! The difficulty of the puzzles is perfect. It's blowing my brain just how well the levels are set-up to teach you the tactics. Great game!
This is easily my favourite game I've played in this ludum dare. Everything just lines up so nicely for me. I love the colour palette, the tone, the music, the sprites and the floating clouds in the background. The gameplay is challenging and satisfying, and the difficulty scaled really nicely.
Some of the small details I really enjoyed: - That all of the sound effects were sonorous to the music - That the soundtrack continued after the "level complete" screen - That Anne-Marie would try to fly against the headwind - The fluttering animation as she landed - the dopamine hit of a good mail delivery
I found myself unconsciously moving the pigeon to the music like it was a Necrodancer game, haha.
Great mechanics and puzzles. I like it
Really fun take on this style of puzzle game (not sure if it has a name?) Great balance, especially towards the end, giving a lot of "a-ha" moments that are crucial for puzzle games. Really enjoyed the soundtrack too, and that the track wasn't constantly starting from the beginning. The bit where the sax really starts going nuts is great and fits the mood really well. Excellent work!
Incredible. A lot of fun playing it!
Very fun and cute. I think I broke the game on level 8 (or I'm just bad) by moving the top fan to the left before I got the right postbox. Edit: I discovered there is a reset button (maybe make a visible reset button so it's clear that it is an option) :)
Very nice game, forces you to think. Really great entry. Good job :)
hell yeah this poor pigeon deserves this rest, i made her fly for too long! as usual i **love** your puzzles and i wish there were more than 15. the principles are easy to understand, and the difficulty curve is really good. alongside with cute art (the flap animation when she lands is a great detail) and relaxing music (a bit too present for me but that was ok), it makes a really great game, and i'm amazed that you were able to do it in 48h, hats off!
Wow, fantastic game. Am I correct in reading your "Music: Ableton electric piano and alto sax" line, (and judging from the sound), in assuming that's a recording of an alto sax and not some synth that came out of Ableton? Either way, music sounds just fantastic. Animations and sprite work also really incredible. Every level was solid, and the difficulty curve was great, some of the last handful were really satisfying. And, boy, oh boy, was Undo a life saver =). Nice job! Also nice to see other custom JS engines and snappy load times ;).
Loved those 15 levels! Congrats on such a well-rounded compo entry, this is super-duper impressive work!!!
@jimbly Yes, the saxophone was recorded live! (The electric piano and drums are MIDI, obviously lol)
Cool, sounds great, I might just have to leave this game open in the background for a while... =)
Wow this game was awesome! really enjoyed trying to figure out the puzzle and deliver all the packages!
Really fun game. Liked the graphics, background music and the level design. If I have to nitpick and give a suggestion then it would be to change the sound effect that plays after you successfully complete a level as it doesn't match the background music of the game. But other than that it's a really good game for a game jam.
A fellow bird-themed puzzle game :D Really great work, the levels ramp up in difficulty nicely :)
Cute and smart little game. I saw you already have a lot of interesting comments, so I'll keep it short : great entry that can be improved a little bit by having the "click to continue" replaced by "press any key to continue" ... so we don't have to switch between keyboard and mouse. Good job!
Great chill puzzle game! A lot of games were quite hectic this jam and this one was a really nice break from that ❤️
I love this, all levels were super clever. Design is super cute, music is on point. Awesome job.
@jonathan-lorenz You actually can do both -- pressing a key will also continue after completing a level. I don't know why I wrote 'click,' honestly... not sure what I was thinking haha
A very nice puzzle to play. The feelings were very well thought out. Some stopped me for a few minutes. The art is very beautiful. Congratulations! And that sax over there? Who's playing? And you? The soundtrack captivated me not only because it's a sax (I'm a saxophonist) and not because it's Bossa-nova (I'm Brazilian) but because it was very well performed. Congratulations!
Such a cute cozy game! Very relaxing yet clever and challenging puzzle. Loved the character and the concept.
The art was excellent, and the puzzles well made. Great Job!
the art is too cute >< such a warm and cozy color palette and style! i think the visual and sound design turned out wonderfully cohesive with the game feel and tempo.
level designs are tough but satisfying to solve! i am stuck on level 13 agh ;_;
This is amazing, one of the top three I played till now. Great job!
Really solid puzzle game, always impressed by what people can come up with in 48 hours! The undo and reset buttons are a great feature, and the music really brings the whole game together :) Awesome job!
nice one,I like this game very much
There's a great number of puzzles here, very fun. Solid sound effects and cute art.
The pigeon-postman, it's wonderful!
Nice puzzle with interesting character and sound design
Nice and cozy puzzle! I like the animations of flying and landing, also delivery animations are on point. Graphics and color scheme are good enough. Music didn't seem suitable for such settings and gameplay tbh, but some poeple might like it, and it seemsed pretty well done anyway. Puzzle is not my favorite genre, so I got tired on level 10, but I had fun playing most of the levels. Good job!
I can tell that you put a lot of thought into the level design of this game. It's amazing! The concept is adorable and well implemented. I love the smooth jazz too! It's really on theme and checks all of the boxes for me, well done!
Oh my gooooodness! I haven't even gotten past the learning controls stage and I love the game already! The style, the music, the animations, the mood, the mechanics, it's all amazing!! The best game I have played on here so far!!!
Wow that's such a nice entry! The mood created by the excellent visuals and music is very relaxing, which goes well with the gameplay. The puzzles are very well made, simple looking yet not simple. Contrary to most jam puzzle games, it feels easier to think the puzzles through rather than try every possible options until one work. The only detail I could see improved is the way the music stop for the little jingles.
This was really fun. Well thought out levels, great music and perfect fit for the theme.
Well done!
Nicely done! Cool puzzle mechanic and nice music. Level 13 was the hardest to me.
I love this game, so fun and super easy to progress and learn !
My only wish is that Anne-Marie would walk a bit faster. Other than that, I thought it was really fun, and enjoyed trying to figure out how to push the fans around to get where I needed to go. Really great job keeping the game mechanics simple and small while providing a fun experience!
I made it to the end! I really liked the last puzzle, super simple but it took me so much time to solve it! [Capture.PNG](///raw/94b/d3/z/5b522.png)
Simple mechanics and visuals, a complete and intuitive tutorial, neat puzzles with a really smooth difficulty curve, and an incredibly soothing music, all of that tied up masterfully in this little game... This is really impressive!
What a cute game!! And what a great level design for a jam! GG!
great puzzles with a simple and cute design :> 14th was the hardest one for me!
Awesome puzzle! Nice idea, mechanic and art. Also is very solid action - make our game engine (even if it's small).
My favourite so far! Polished and lovely to see and hear. Well done!
Very polished and amazing, the only little thing I would change is differentiate the walls you cannot pass through from the lower sides of the roof. At times I thought I could not pass the area when I could.
Adorable little puzzle game! Really love the sax and the rest of the music <3
the level complete audio was almost disappointing to have to interrupt the sweet sweet sax. Nice game!
Really fun game - challenging but at the same time rewarding when you make it to the end! Would love to see a more backgrounds and a story being implemented :)
Such a nicely polished game, I saw this during the jam and was hyped to play:) nicely done
This is a very well done and polished game! The art is cute, and the music fit it perfectly.
I didn't really like the "level won" sound tho, since I think it disrupt the relaxing atmosphere and the rhythm of the chilling background music. I think it should have been a more easy sfx that kept the music flowing instead of stopping it.
Apart for this, everything else is well done. You have some entry levels to explain the mechanics without being annoying, just a few mechanics that works well together, which is nice for a good puzzle, and the levels are actually interesting to solve, and also are made in a way that u can actually stop and realize how to win even without brute force. Maybe the order of the levels should be adjusted a bit, since the last level I think is way too easier compared to others.
The game is very nice, and it's very jam friendly, since it's entertaining but not too hard, and also knowing in advance the number of levels helps in the completion percentage, because players are more keen to keep pushing for some other levels if they know for sure they will be the last one (instead of not knowing if there ill be other 30 levels). Maybe the only thing is that it feels a bit too pre-made, not like u made this before the jam, but like built out of a checkbox list so to have a proper polished game for the jam. Not really a bad thing, since it's actually very funny, but something I felt like I wanted to note, maybe as a way to push you into something more experimental for your next jam/game, if u like!
What a beautiful chill game. The music really sets the tone and the pigeon animations are excellent.
Awesome progression of introducing new and interesting wrinkles on the core set of puzzle mechanics. Feels very elegant!
I absolutely loved the game, couldn't find any flaws at all. It's a very solid game, and I really appreciated the undo button. The puzzles increase in difficulty at just the right pace. Congratulations :D Anne-Marie Employee of the Month
I was able to clear the game. Absolutely incredible! The quality of every element is top-notch, and both the game system and level design are mind-blowingly outstanding, leaving me utterly astonished. This is truly the best of the best!
i love pigeons <3 clever title and cute game!!
This game is absolutely perfect. Nothing to complain about its top notch. My 6 year old and 4 year old played it for 1 hour they loved it.
I loved the game! The puzzles were really well-designed, with each level offering just the right amount of challenge. I had a great time playing through them all! The minimalist art style was beautifully polished, and Anne is such a cute character. The calming music created a really chill and enjoyable atmosphere. Congratulations on creating such an amazing game! (◕‿◕)♡
This was such a great game, honestly I have nothing to add besides that it reminds me of the forcefields with a similar effect in Portal 2 (maybe also the original, it's been so long). I kept expecting you to introduce vacuums with a pull effect to go alongside the push, but honestly the game you made was so well conceived that layering in an additional mechanic wouldn't have improved it/might make it worse. I'm definitely going to check out your other games now.
Pretty cool little puzzle game. The tutorial puzzles were very good! Great job at explaining the mechanics that way. I felt the later puzzles where certain mailboxes forced a certain order were very fun puzzles, but some of the other ones were a bit hard to reason about. Overall really good!
This is such a perfect game in every way. I hope to one day create a game-jam game as a good as this  Seriously well done!
Flying feels so satisfying! The graphics and music also contribute to a chill vibe. Nice job!
Just lovely! Kudos for the cute soundtrack, this adds a ton of the mood the game. Thank you such an adorable little puzzle game.
I loved this game, it's fun, the art quite charming, and the music is so good \*chef's kiss\*
I just love it ! Everything is perfect to me, special mention for the music :musical_note:
That's probably one of the best compo games I've seen out there. Very nice!
Very polished product and brilliant level design! I feel like you exploited your game mechanics as much as they could possibly be exploited without introducing new elements. Got stuck at level 13 for a bit but managed to finish in the end. Amazing job, and congrats on the sax, that was something I did not expect to find, especially in a compo entry
Incredible! The puzzles were really well made, and the difficulty curve was perfect. The graphics are charming, the music is great (love the sax), and the game is the perfect difficulty: the puzzles stump you at first but you always feel like you're making progress. No complaints from me, easily one of my favorite compo games so far. Great work!
cute idea with more content than i expected, nice!
Man I dream of rocking my alto sax like this, im stealing the idea for the next jam hehe ! very good job !
I like pigeons :3 Great game mechanics and graphics and surprisingly no bugs!
Cute, relaxing, and just as challenging as needed for a LD game. I enjoyed playing and finishing this lovely puzzle game, so, well done!
what a cute little entry, some of the later levels really required some thinking but made it through all of them in the end! Very good job on this combo :)
Amazing entry, you explored the design space of your limited mechanics very well! The presentation was really enjoyable as well and the groovy sax tunes complement the puzzle solving mood.
!> I thought level 11 was maybe a bit convoluted for teaching a new mechanic (crossing the winds, assuming this is the intended way to solve the level) and I'm a bit sad it didn't return in later levels
!> Level 14 felt amazing to solve, like setting up a line of dominoes and then knocking them over, loved that design!
It was great getting to develop a mental model for the levels with constraints like "this mailbox has to be the last one" or "this fan is static" which made solving the levels enjoyable. One optional fun thing would have been to name the levels to give them a bit of extra character but that's an aesthetic preference :D
Anyways great puzzle design and I really appreciate having an undo button (I made the mistake of making a Sokoban-like without undo once and regret not having it from the start), had a blast!
Amazing entry! Art is cute! Really nice to see puzzle games with top notch level design! the difficulty ramped nicely and never felt too unfair or hard! Also really nice seeing self made engines! Anyways, am gobsmacked that you managed to pull all this of in 48 hours?!? and still having time to shred some epic sax! Good work! Looking forward what you are making in the future :3
Wow, so cohesive! And a custom engine? Awesome work, nice level design and also I just love a good bird. Big fan of this one.
Great game, I really enjoyed the puzzles and the artstyle as well!
one of my favorite games, the use of the theme is great, the tutorial is intuitive and pleasant to make. The jazz style music goes really well with the mood of the game, I really had fun playing it. big gg to the whole team
Very fun puzzle-type game! I really appreciated the ability to undo and the in-game tutorial was very good.
Probably took me 20 mins to beat all 15 levels!
Amazing puzzle game! Art is beautiful the music is relaxing and the gameplay is solid. Really good entry well done!
Great puzzle game! I'm blown away! Definitely one of my favorites.
This is satisfyingly relaxing. Top tier gentle puzzle game. The music is good but I had to mute eventually as I repeated puzzles.
Incredible how polished this is. A little bit more of a story about Anne-Marie at the beginning and ending would be nice, but it's already perfectly good with the instructions as they are. I think this game is pretty much the beacon of what can be made in 48 hours.
Amazing puzzle game! How did you do that so fast? Loved the vibe. One of the best LD games I've played.
Simple yet innovative idea, with a lot of work in level design. What a great game!
Smart puzzle game. Interesting mechanic with cool graphics. The music is also very appropriate.
Don't forget to play and rate other folks' games!!
I'm trying my best ._.; I've been so busy, I didn't intend to get this many hits on my game aaa
Congrats on 5th in Compo! I think the Audio ranking should have been higher with the live saxophone though!
@jeremy-ryan Thank you! If only I hadn't made the music pause when playing the "level complete" jingle
Great game! I especially love the level design of level6 which is a cross of two fans. Really brilliant level design.
