Star Crystals by OddballDave 2023-01-09T21:56:46Z

Tough but fun, clever use of physics. Really liked the shader/screen effects you had, loved the gritty feel.

Cat Farm Panic ! by Yvanor 2023-01-09T09:02:10Z

Aww this was super cute, I really enjoyed the two areas and the mechanic with the flashlight and opening the cupboards was really clever. Nice work!

Touch the Grass by senior_sigan 2023-01-10T11:50:28Z

Took me a while to notice the play button, thought it wasn't loading. I loved the grass and the way it regrew, and the multiplayer was a great idea. Nice work not using an engine, you really made something pretty impressive considering.

Acornville Escape Room by candlesan 2023-01-09T11:18:57Z

A lot of fun, enjoyed playing this one. I ran out of energy in the corn maze though and got frustrated with being lost.

Crop Circle by Rulrite 2023-01-09T21:53:35Z

This is great, lots of fun, fantastic gameplay. Very polished, a great entry!

Hi @cat-chef thanks for the feedback. This is still a work in progress so make sure you check back once voting has started. We do know about the spiders...😉😉😉

@cat-chef hahaa yep! thanks for coming back! We really didn't want to perpetuate "spiders are bad" and wanted to reinforce that they're friendly and helpful.

The Hunt for the Legendary Lobster by Ry-for 2023-01-11T04:24:29Z

Simple concept but really well executed. Graphics are incredible, and soundtrack absolutely rocks. Online leaderboard is really nice icing on the cake.

Mutant Harvest by Lenan 2023-01-09T11:07:19Z

Extremely difficult, couldn't get the hang of it

Drake's Fortune by chompdev 2023-01-15T00:59:01Z

I played this for way longer than I want to admit, seriously good job giving this longevity.

Barvest: The Iconic Bug Harvest of 2005 by picross 2023-01-10T11:53:27Z

Wow this is seriously amazing, I love the art style. The spider was super cute and I loved how its legs animated. The gameplay felt a lot like mario64. Lovely soundtrack and sound effects too. Really quite a good entry, nice job!

Wheat Master by nyxkn 2023-01-14T05:34:57Z

oh no...an idler...I'm doomed.

Wheat Master by nyxkn 2023-01-14T06:02:34Z

Big Aussie Harvest by Enad96 2023-01-11T11:49:19Z

I'm an Australian and this is exactly what it's like living in Australia.

Ether Warp by Celtican 2023-01-09T06:45:07Z

5/5 Seriously impressive. I love the sound design, just lovely. Your artwork is lovely too. Incredible achievement to get this done for compo, and generally speaking just a really great piece of work. Fantastic!

lanterns & mooncakes by ty_ 2023-01-09T09:11:42Z

Wow I love the art style, very clever use of the lanterns. Pretty challenging and fun. Nice work!

harvest.sh by Parker Nalch 2023-01-09T06:47:12Z

Clever implementation of a unique idea, nice work.

Carrot by itsBoats 2023-01-11T07:16:10Z

Lovely! Great clean polished looking graphics with a wonderfully implemented unique mechanic. I seriously loved that bullets needed to be planted to be replenished and could be lost if you miss the ground. Very clever!

Glean the Luminescent by jcg 2023-01-09T11:05:17Z

Excellent and fun core game loop, very clever use of the lighting as well. I really liked that my buildings also ended up blocking my line of site.

(we sell) P.E.O.P.L.E. by nullval 2023-01-10T11:47:43Z

Interesting concept, I found it really challenging though. The feed of messages was a nice touch.

Wheat Make Dark the Night by r_king_ludd 2023-01-09T10:56:27Z

Very unique and clever core mechanic, I think balance was a bit off and it's a touch too hard. Really well done though, great job!

Catchy by danmerey 2023-01-09T11:25:02Z

Incredible! This is absolutely gorgeous and I seriously enjoyed the controls. What a lovely and unique submission. Seriously impressed with this, great work!

Alien Invasion Simulator by Final Turn 2023-01-09T07:10:02Z

I was a bit confused how to progress and succeed. Neat concept and graphics.

Thrown Harvest (for LD52) by matimat 2023-01-09T08:35:58Z

Very tough! Neat concept though, I'm enjoying yeeting plants :joy:

No Time to Harvest by Almogo 2023-01-09T08:38:24Z

hahaha this was great fun, nice effort.

Powered Plants by RobotChimp 2023-01-13T10:57:56Z

Holy heck this is insanely good. This is something I'd expect to see on Steam already!

Vermin Attack by stevepixelface 2023-01-11T11:52:46Z

Awww yiss love me some whack-a-mole. Very cute, well implemented.

Farmtown Mowdown by Stevie257 2023-01-09T22:05:24Z

Seriously great entry, I really enjoyed playing this. Great art style (brings me back to ps1 days) and a sound track the BOPS! Progression was great, waves were enjoyable, and when I accidentally got mulched by my own combine I almost spat out my coffee laughing. GG 10/10 would defend combine again.

LD53 — Delivery

The War is Over by M2tias 2023-05-17T00:13:26Z

Liked the soundtrack and the art, the gameplay was a bit rough, the movement was very floaty.

Pollygone by Papaver 2023-05-17T00:10:55Z

Very clever concept, nice implementation of a good puzzle. Loving the soundtrack too. This was deceptively simple on the surface but had some nice depth to the design, a really solid entry that I enjoyed!

Asteroid Outlaws by GuitarBro 2023-05-02T03:47:06Z

oh wow I really enjoyed this, wonderful implementation of realistic physics. I had a lot of fun chasing down packages, and I thought I was doing so well because I'd tractored up a whole stack, but then i realized their mass was also affecting my ship, making it almost impossible to fly! Awesome work, seriously!

The Clockwork Express by dxk2294 2023-05-03T06:39:26Z

Very cool! I definitely did not take enough time to read the instructions and was a bit confused at first, I tried to use the mail gun as a normal gun and wasted all of my packages trying to destroy pirates. I loved the art, but I'm a sucker for voxels, ultimately this was surprisingly deep and I think you accomplished a great level of detail for such a short time. Very solid entry, nice work!

Contraband Critters: A Tactical Transporter by makerart 2023-05-01T23:15:15Z

I love the art and music, the concept seems really cool, but I really struggled to progress at all. My robots just kept dying and I feel like I'm missing some core concept. At one point one of my robots just disappeared.

There is a monkey here! by yellow 2023-05-03T06:33:30Z

Very nice, I love the theme. The artstyle and chiptune audio mixed well together. I loved the core mechanic, getting lower with each monkey made you a bit stressed about running out of time, but it also made it easier to drop them on the land, a very nice self-balancing mechanic. Very well designed. My only feedback is I think you should have given more than one life, and let me drop more baby monkeys...look I know how bad that sounds but please let me make mistakes!

Careless Express by Achiru 2023-05-17T01:03:00Z

This was a good b it of fun, I love physics games! I really liked the implementation of the dual modes, throwing the box was fun, if not sometimes a bit tough. Nice entry!

The Pigeon Post Principle by cassowary 2023-05-01T23:24:33Z

OOh this is lovely! I absolutely adore the artwork and audio, and what a wonderful core mechanic (deceptively complex). I think you did really well teaching the player the basic concepts and then iterating slowly on it with more and more complex level design. Great job!

WASTELAND Express by YogurtTheHorse 2023-05-02T10:40:16Z

WOW! Stunning graphics, lovely physics, such wonderful details (dynamically destructible car???) This is insanely good!

Unwanted Delivery by Lone_Wolf 2023-05-17T00:03:05Z

This was kind of neat, I liked the combat and your sound wasn't too bad at all. Nice work on setting the mood and writing out the story!

Spacial Delivery by KirKami 2023-05-02T23:29:57Z

No bad, I enjoyed the physics, I couldn't figure out what I was doing though, I couldn't tell where I was going or what my goal was. Also couldn't do any damage to other ships.

Spacial Delivery by KirKami 2023-05-02T23:31:29Z

Oh! I just properly read the instructions, ok so I can trade at planets and upgrade my ship? That's actually very cool, I've changed my rating because there's quite a bit of depth there and it's pretty neat once you figure it out!

Cold Pizza by Cole Hutson 2023-05-01T22:18:17Z

Oh this is a neat little game, I like the core game mechanic. Some feedback: I didn't realize the green boxes were showing delivery locations, I thought those were the only places I could put down the instruction tiles. Level 3 took me a while because of this. I really like the level design and progression, it's acting as a natural tutorial as well. It was a bit frustrating that retrying the level reset all my tiles, sometimes all I needed was a slight tweak to get it right. All in all a pretty decent entry, nice work!

Peggy's Post by suvi 2023-05-02T23:15:08Z

I found this pretty overwhelming, and my morning brain couldn't figure out how to do anything at first. I finally found that I could turn the page on the instructions book, THEN found there was a map under the book! The map just made things more confusing though. That feedback aside, I think this is a wonderful game with a lot of charm, I love the art style, I love the setting, and I am a huge fan of Paper's Please so everything here sits really well with me. I think in a future version you could just take some time to introduce the player to the mechanics, and slowly build up their repertoire of skills, if given some time and space to learn the complexities of the puzzles in the game I think this would be a wonderful experience. What you have here is just perfect for an LD entry, and my feedback is mostly just to consider for future, I think you've done really well.

Strange Supplying by Mrtubagames 2023-05-01T12:40:29Z

Challenging to navigate the spikes, hit box was unforgiving. I didn't notice they were spikes at first, and tried to drive my truck a few times. Simple concept but not bad for LD, nice work!

Battery Boys by Cronno 2023-05-01T12:38:18Z

Interesting concept, I was having a bit of trouble aiming attacks, as needing to move first was hard sometimes. I found it really difficult to keep the switches on too, the little shadudes kept turning them off too quickly! Good bit of fun!

Give Us Our Sh%@ by Gnome4 2023-05-01T12:35:17Z

I tried to deliver the green box and the game just wouldn't let me progress. Simple concept though, reasonably well executed. not bad.

Ultimate Package by Triangle Point 2023-05-01T13:08:46Z

Enjoyablle little game, I loved the sound track! Movement was far too floaty though and was pretty frustrating. Otherwise a nice entry, good job!

Detective Root by seshoumara 2023-05-17T00:18:59Z

Pretty neat, but the puzzle was super hard and I feel pretty stupid trying (and failing) to solve even the first door. I think it'd be better to go with simpler versions initially, to let the user build up their knowledge of how to solve the future puzzles.

Detective Root by seshoumara 2023-05-17T00:19:42Z

Btw who did the audio? The music is lovely!

Idyll : Democracy delivery by DracoNox 2023-05-01T22:24:06Z

Oh great another idler for me to get hopelessly addicted to, JUST WHAT I NEED. No seriously this is actually a really solid idler, I think you've done really well. My favorite part was the artwork progressing with each new purchase, made me want to keep going just to see what was coming next.

Idyll : Democracy delivery by DracoNox 2023-05-01T22:34:08Z

Alright, its me back again, just some feedback after playing a bit longer. The clicking got old fast, would've been nice to get an upgrade that let my save my fingers. Clicking and then accidentally selecting text was also a bit annoying, would be nice to see that fixed. Finally as a QoL improvement a "buy max" option would be very helpful for late game to just quickly pump all your influence into an upgrade.

Idyll : Democracy delivery by DracoNox 2023-05-01T23:26:35Z

I dont think follower multipliers are working, I got this far before my "per click" follower gains just couldn't keep up, progress got far too slow and I had to give up :(

Stand and Deliver by rohanmoon 2023-05-01T22:08:37Z

@alexander-tan it is trying to rate your jokes based on the humor category @whycardboard Thank you for the lovely feedback! @reo-silmetal we toyed with the idea of more prompts but in testing it wasn't as fun, it deteriorated into more of a conversation and was difficult to deliver a punch line

Stand and Deliver by rohanmoon 2023-05-02T09:42:33Z

@lone-wolf nice work! The support actor nailed their part too!

@kinart We had it be much harsher but honestly then it was just too mean, it's quite hard to balance.

Stand and Deliver by rohanmoon 2023-05-02T22:53:08Z

@coderaurus ah excellent feedback thank you that's a very good point

Stand and Deliver by rohanmoon 2023-05-03T00:51:53Z

@josh-bothun Thanks for the feedback, but I think that's a bit unfair to say "mostly leveraging AI" as I'm sure if you inspect our source you'll see just how much work went into the game. Even the parts where we do access the openai api we had to spend a lot of time engineering and tweaking our prompts to get it to behave the way we wanted.

Stand and Deliver by rohanmoon 2023-05-03T01:24:45Z

@josh-bothun I totally understand and do appreciate the feedback.

Stand and Deliver by rohanmoon 2023-05-03T21:47:18Z

@dsk thank you! We had a lot of fun with it, and brainstorming is probably one of my favorite parts about LD.

@firellon thanks for the feedback! Yeah sometimes the AI misses the mark completely and gets a little confused, unfortunately a limitation of the tech available to us at the time. In the very near future we should have access to something much more powerful and I hope to implement that.

@christian-zommerfelds working with GPT was a lot of fun, thanks for the feedback! I think the blurriness might just be the embed window scaling the game poorly, unless you're just seeing our "pixelated" hall as blurry? Either way valuable insight thank you!

Stand and Deliver by rohanmoon 2023-05-16T23:23:24Z

Hey @amarokczukay thanks for the feedback, I wrote a post about our prompts as I believe in full disclosure when working with AI: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/53/stand-and-deliver-2/how-we-utilized-gpt-in-our-game

Dead-End Delivery by RobotChimp 2023-05-02T03:55:31Z

AAAAH! This was seriously awesome! I loved the vibe the CRT overlay gave, and your art style matched it perfectly. The controls were a bit rough, the turning circle kind of sucked. Maybe in a future version you could select cars with some different specs like turn speed and top speed etc. This gave me huge nostalgia vibes for micro machines (remember racing little cars on table tops?) and GTA1/2. What a great entry!

Pizza Pete's Peculiar Predicament by Space_Games 2023-05-02T23:22:38Z

This was pretty neat, I liked the pizza tossing mechanic, I dont think I've ever played a platformer where you're also shooting and aiming with the mouse. Nice work on the sounds!

Bird Express by Cleoh 2023-05-02T23:06:33Z

Hmm I couldn't get this to work, the game would load up with some animations but I didn't know what to do, clicking on things did nothing and keyboard wasn't useful. The artwork looked pretty nice though.

Crazy Hearse by MatthewDrake 2023-05-17T01:05:49Z

Very tough, the controls were definitely CRAZY! This was a great first entry though, had a bit of fun zipping around, nice work.

The Stork Purrsuit by FrancoisGoret 2023-05-17T00:58:59Z

Very cute art, nice sound design, puzzle/mechanics were a touch simple but I think tastefully implemented. Nice job!

Baby Bots by Congeesetador 2023-05-02T23:26:49Z

Doesn't want to work in the browser for me Screenshot 2023-05-03 092622.jpg

Parcel Control by Vitaslayer 2023-05-16T23:52:16Z

Absolutely love the soundtrack and sound effects in this game, just wonderful! I found it a bit difficult to figure out what I was meant to be doing, intially (I was playing it on itch.io) I was trying to compare the stamp shape to the one in your page header, not realizing that wasn't even part of the game. Then I figured out I could open the computer, but not hadn't figured out I could open the parcel too to compare info. I think a bit more detail in the tutorial or description would have helped a lot. Still a very neat game, great entry, well done!

Warehouse Tycoon by Ixil Miniussi 2023-05-17T00:57:02Z

This was really quite neat, a very nice implementation of this puzzle type. It took me longer than I'd like to admit that some boxes just COULDNT be rotated :joy:

Tank world by Beth Davis 2023-05-16T23:30:53Z

"you cannot kill me!" oh yeah?

Pizza Race by E-polygon 2023-05-17T01:09:15Z

Pretty unforgiving, I think some lives or health would've been good. The timer was going down way too fast though I couldn't figure out how I was going to get to the destination in time
