Amazing game! It's really fun to play, looks great, sounds great, and fits the theme perfectly. Well done! One of my favorite games so far!

@firebelley Thank you so much!!
pretty fun but the controles are totaly unintuitive :D I´m just not used to cameras that are not centered on the Player. very pretty though!
@hundekuchen Yea, I get that. The controls can definitely handle very difficultly and the camera may be a bit too much for some. Thank you, though! I'm glad you enjoyed it, anyway!
This is fun!! I played several rounds and it didn't get boring, excellent work - so much detail and excellent feeling. I sometimes got stuck between trees and it was difficult to balance the time and the fuel but all the details everywhere 100% make up for this!
@zettelkasten Thank you!! I love adding little details, so I spent a lot of extra time on that. And yes, warning to people reading this, I am very aware of the car sometimes getting stuck between two objects, but just didn't have enough time to get a proper fix for that. Sorry!
Just be careful when running into some things! haha
AAAAH! This was seriously awesome! I loved the vibe the CRT overlay gave, and your art style matched it perfectly. The controls were a bit rough, the turning circle kind of sucked. Maybe in a future version you could select cars with some different specs like turn speed and top speed etc. This gave me huge nostalgia vibes for micro machines (remember racing little cars on table tops?) and GTA1/2. What a great entry!
@rohanmoon THANK YOU!! Oh yeah, I'd love for different vehicle selection and just have to tweak the controlling of the car in general. GTA2 was definitely one of the games that I was inspired by!
Amazing! great art~ great sfx! juicy effect! is this made with Godot?
@99jason Thank you! Yes, It's Godot 3.5.2 specifically!
Loved it! So many small details really add up to make it feel like a big world! Love the style! Very impressive!
@lichtung Thanks!!
Awesome entry! It was hard to drive at first, but eventually i got the hang of it and earned a respectable (i think) $3280~
I think it could be imrpoved a bit by zooming out slightly more based on speed, i saw you guys were doing that already but perhaps not enough. I ended up ramming into things that i couldnt even see because i was too far zoomed in.
I had a blast tho! One of the best jam entries i'll see this time around, i reckon!
This game is absolutely DRIPPING with style - and that 80's lofi aesthetic is exactly the type of style that I love. Seriously, I don't know how you managed to get this much mileage out of 72 hours! And the competing elements of time and fuel add a really nice tension to what otherwise could have been a pretty rudimentary A-to-B type game. I do wish there was a bit more I could do driving wise - the vehicle is a bit hard to control and doesn't flow like I would like it to - but that's a smaller nitpick on an otherwise incredible game. Fantastic job!!
Also - take that "aspiring" out of your profile, own what you are :)
@blue-pin-studio Thanks!! $3280 is pretty good! Yea, a more zoomed out camera would probably be a good idea.
@drainkid Thank you!!! I don't know how I was able to get so much *mileage* in such a short amount of time, either. Game jams are just so fun, haha. The vehicle control is definitely by biggest weakness here, too. I will take that "aspiring" out of my bio now :)
Holy hell, the effects in this game are top notch! From the screen filters to the lighting to the music and the sound effects, everything just comes together for an incredible presentation. The gameplay is fun and hectic, I never feel like I'm in control of my vehicle and I think that's the point, and the timers are strict as hell, which is great for replayability. My only complaint is that reversing feels backwards to my brain, I don't know if it's just me but I expect the directions to be swapped when going backwards, like a real car. Either way, that's a small nitpick that doesn't affect my rating. Great job!
@aurailus Thank you!! Also, you're definitely not alone on that. I didn't realize, but apparently a lot of people are used to the opposite reverse controls. My fault!
Wow!!! This is honestly the best most polished and innovative game I've come across yet, fantastic work! I love how hectic and wild everything is, you almost want to hate the camera effects for being so disruptive, but at the same time it really makes it that much more interesting and challenging. I really appreciate the awesome artwork, attention to detail, and extra effort put into things like the intro and failure screens. Took me a few tries to kind of get a feel for how to move, but I was always getting stuck on everything and I loved it, hahaha. Really great soundwork, too! I hope you get more votes, because you definitely deserve them. I couldn't help but laugh at how derpy the enemy AI is. The timer did seem extremely punishing though, I barely had enough time to complete deliveries, let alone gas up.. I think with a bit more fine tuning in that regard, this could be a real gem! Congrats on an awesome game.
@kevin-scroggins Thank you so much! Yea, I definitely see now that the game is a bit tight on the timer and will fix that for an after-jam patch. I'm also glad you found the enemy AI enjoyable, as I was really proud of it and decided to embrace how goofy it was.
Really cool game! Classic GTA style. Love it. Good work!
The graphics in this game are so good. Not gonna lie, the controls were confusing to me, I didn't manage to pass the 2 delivery mark, but maybe it's just a me thing. Nonetheless, it's a fun game, the retro look and graphics are its strong suite.
Excellent! I really enjoyed the game's aesthetics, the graphics, and the soundtrack were all fantastic, very polished game. I really loved the camera zooms on certain events, and the CRT monitor effect also gave a cool arcade vibe to the game. The only thing that I found a bit stressful were the controls, but perhaps with a bit of practice, that wouldn't be an issue. Very good game!
The art is so beautiful, it reminds me of Hotline Miami combined with the racing consoles I played as a kid (sorry I don't remember the exact name of that thing). The animations and screen shake on collisions are perfect, and the music is great. But I think the handling is a bit lackluster. Hope you can continue to improve this game.
@gonzo13 @thomastournoys @rekiem @johnsonhao
Thank you to all of you! Obviously a big issue is controls, and I'm planning to try and fix that in a post-jam patch along with a few other tweaks to make things a little easier (More time, gas, etc.)
Very good game. First I don't fell car control, but after 2/3 games it can be nice experience :D. I love graphic style. Game is very well polished and give fun. I love the intro and music. Great job :) BTW. I saw your post on ludum dare with your progress and I have noticed today your game is in danger I couldn't stand by and watch this.
@makuck95 Thank you!!
very polished and nice to play! the controls were a bit hard to master, but i like the efforts you've put into this game, well done! pixel art is gorgeous by the way
