Interesting concept, I was having a bit of trouble aiming attacks, as needing to move first was hard sometimes. I found it really difficult to keep the switches on too, the little shadudes kept turning them off too quickly! Good bit of fun!

Nice game! Original idea, good execution. And I just loved the sfx.

I did, however, stumbled on a bug: after recharging with alt the character would not react to controls for several seconds, which made finishing game close to impossible.

Other than that - great game!

@jul-li It's crazy how much simple sfx add to a game. Thanks for the bug report. The alt key seems to move the browser focus elsewhere, so it was really bad choice of key. You can get around this by clicking back into the game. The auto-charge is something I hacked in quickly because I knew some people don't like mashing. I should have tested it more.

Charging the weapon to fire was nice. I found the movement wasn't working very well. Might be some input management issues happening. With a bit a polish this could be fun!

Not sure that it hits on the theme at all though!

Very cool game! Initially had a bit of trouble fully grasping the controls but a few minutes in, once I got the hang of it, I started really enjoying the game. (And yes, my spacebar was absolutely obliterated)

I must mention, however, there was quite a noticeable delay between keypress and execution, so you should look into that?

It was also really nice to see a game made in Rust and Macroquad, as I recently started dabbling in that myself! Overall a good entry!

Nice, original game. It would be nice to have the instructions in game, as well (I read them but forgot when launching the game...). Sounds were quite loud.

Thank you for the recharging accessibility option.

Good job.

Interesting! Controls flummoxed me at first as well, but I ultimately enjoyed it. Very cool to see Rust used!

@theartifacts @calcopod

It is supposed to control a bit like Pokemon. You need to be able change direction without moving, so there is delay in movement to accommodate this. I will admit that it is not very well implemented and I did not have time to go back and fix it. Live and learn.

Took me a while to understand what to do, but I got it eventually! I kinda cheated and used the J key instead of mashing space. I thought the enemies were cute, but also annoying :p

Cute game, but you were right about spacebar hurting your hands - I had to stop playing after the first level because all the spamming was triggering my carpal tunnel xD

Still, great job!

as already mentioned, controlling of robots is very difficult. Different weapon types are very good idea, adding a new strategic layer. Also energy recovering on inactive robot is a good thing, forcing to use both of them

I did it boys. I charged the batteries. Aside from the clunky controls and wap-a-tap-tap-tap on the keyboard; it was really cool! I like the simple crystals and it wasn't too difficult to figure out how to swap and fire and charge stuff. It was just impractical to guard the entire room. I basically chose 3 and kept them charged and under-pared the courses. Nice. :)

i didn't really understand what to do, but i liked switching between two characters with different abilities that was cool
