Well the name sure is fitting, that's about all I've got to say about this one.

the-lame-brain 2021-10-04 21:00

I love your music! I love how things just fly apart when you finish a stage!

You should do a VR version!

That last stage was great, just the question in the sky!

Cheers! [-LB](https://ldjam.com/users/the-lame-brain/)

brads-space 2021-10-04 21:01

Cool idea, you get used to the sickness.

maggardjosh 2021-10-04 21:04

I am so dizzy and nauseous  I'm assuming the "What's Next?" screen is as far as you can get? Good entry was a lot of fun.

chrissx2 2021-10-04 21:58

SUch a simple but crazy idea. I agree. We need this in VR with a cat chasing us. Great job!

itshornunicorn 2021-10-05 06:59

@bentebent hah, yeah, i think so

itshornunicorn 2021-10-05 07:00

@the-lame-brain we can call VR version vomit up yourself lol. Thank you for your feedback

itshornunicorn 2021-10-05 07:01

@brads-space imagine 48 hours of developing such mechanics. All developers just like all go round:)

itshornunicorn 2021-10-05 07:02

@maggardjosh yes, that was the last scene. Thank u fr you comment. Appreciate it 😊

itshornunicorn 2021-10-05 07:03

@chrissx2 so many suggestions about VR version. Challenge accepted!

ping78 2021-10-05 10:22

Really well made. "What’s next" was a bit confusing. This game in VR would be so dizzy even writing this comment I still feel a tad dizzy . Also this game would fit "One Room" theme so well.

fabula-rasa 2021-10-11 10:57

Crazy! Good thing I never experienced motion sickness, as I imagine I would be quite nauseous by now

Travelling the world as a ball is confusing in a good way, and the boxes-inside-boxes world is very creative. This is definitely a unique experience!

joror 2021-10-11 17:39

Hah nice alternative movement there! Had to figure out that rolling was a thing, but then I was off~ Nice models and music keeping the 'one more' challenge going, with the occasional trickier platform. I don't get nausea from these things luckily

fluffygamedev 2021-10-15 14:38

I love the concept! I'm not feeling too well now that I've played the game, but I still enjoyed it! Feels like some kind of *Katamari Damacy*, but the player is the ball. XD

ardorugus 2021-10-15 14:42

Literally unstable mechanics, which can be used in some game, especially to that tune. Better play on the empty stomach!

sploky 2021-10-15 16:30

Umm my head hurts.

puppetmaster 2021-10-15 17:04

I am definitely too old for such somersault games....

and made it into the universe, unfortunately there was no big bang.

Congratulations on your great game

balduin 2021-10-15 17:07

I vomited up the world

moddingmachine 2021-10-15 17:44

oh my goodness, that was miserable lol. I love the uniquness of your game! but man is it hard to play for someone as motion sick as me... A really unique and fabulous game, I bet playtesting this was fun...

r3l0ad1 2021-10-15 18:28

cool game, i feel quite dizzy afterwards, but its a nice concept and it definitely deserves some more attention :D

sli 2021-10-15 19:43

You've got the title pretty well. I definitely got dizzy, but I enjoyed playing it.

future-labs-unlimited 2021-10-15 23:22

Well, after playing this, I absolutely appreciate not having to roll around all the time in real life. :D

adriankrawczyk 2021-10-16 12:11

Imagine this in VR. Cool entry, at first it was hard to control, but later it was hard to not get too dizzy playing this game :) . Good job!

exmxpx 2021-10-16 12:16

Took me a bit to figure out that I had to hold the button to roll forward. Would be cool to see a way to increase speed for extra motion sickness. Cool submission!

robonaut121 2021-10-16 12:30

That was disorientating! I initially thought the control scheme was WASD to look around, and I was so confused, until I found out about 3-5 minutes later that it was to move as well :-/ The rest of the game isn't well explained either. (And honestly, a VR version of this would genuinely be dangerous. Might be best not to release one.) Apart from the bad explanations, it was a fun game!

peace-of-cake-games 2021-10-16 15:43

Never before has feeling like this been so entertaining.... 🤢 I *love* the low-poly art on the gems and some of the décor, and the smooth sculpted graphics on everything else! The art blends really well together, the environment is beautiful. My only request would be to make it so that if you run into the galaxy at the end you cause an explosion that blows up the universe. 😈

zevsehg 2021-10-16 16:23

Cool game with an interesting concept. Staring at the ceiling 50% of the time is a little nervous, but that's the price I have to pay for my perfectly round body.

itshornunicorn 2021-10-16 18:44

@peace-of-cake-games thanks for your reply, appreciate it and your idea is cool. We planned to do smth like that in the end but... not enough time:)

itshornunicorn 2021-10-16 18:47

@zevsehg it's a small sacrifice for a such fit body hah

coolestdoggie 2021-10-16 19:17

@adriankrawczyk @future-labs-unlimited @sli @r3l0ad1 I like to read your feedbacks! Thank you :3

vhalenn 2021-10-16 21:05

Great experience but it hurt a bit haha

emaigualmc2-art 2021-10-16 22:37

A great idea, I loved the music super calm compared to the dizziness that I generated rolling and rolling xD Good job!

astropower 2021-10-16 23:00

Cool concept... I think you should make a VR version for this game.

yopox 2021-10-17 10:35

I want to see a speedrun of this

Great entry, I liked your interpretation of 'unstable' Quite unique!

zimny11 2021-10-17 17:06

At the start the movement maked me dizzy but after few seconds I got used to it. Very relaxing game. The game movement mechanic is really unique. Great job with music too.

coolestdoggie 2021-10-18 12:55

@zimny11 @yopox @astropower @emaigualmc2-art Glad you enjoyed!

ache-games 2021-10-18 19:25

very creative!!

ldjq 2021-10-19 07:57

This game is super neat.

The music does a great job of setting the atmosphere, and the whole thing is really relaxing to play.

I love the use of environmental text. Like the size hints on the boxes.

hengen 2021-10-19 12:58

playing this, i was somehow both comfy and seasick! good job!

pashaloban 2021-10-19 14:20

Cool game

messmerd 2021-10-19 16:34

Interesting take on the theme. I played until I got outside, where I slid into an area under the house and wasn't able to escape

patrickrmc 2021-10-19 19:57

My head hurts. That's all I have to say. Really happy about the colors not being too much and the graphics seeming pretty low poly from those few seconds i could see more than the floor. Solid entry overall.

m1nus 2021-10-20 01:49

wow amazing everything. this would be fun in VR too! where can we get the song? :3

lucasvb 2021-10-20 02:40

Such a wonderful idea! Simple but the execution here, both in terms of graphics, sound and music, are what makes it work so well. The minimalistic gameplay and dizziness mechanics balanced one another unexpectedly for me.

I could really see this expanded into a slightly bigger more polished mini-game that explores some themes with the mechanics, I think it has a lot of potential.

And I really loved the music and wish it was longer. You folks should release a soundtrack somewhere for download, if it's an original piece (or if not, link to the source).

Overall really exceptional work in game design.

coolestdoggie 2021-10-20 10:35

@m1nus @lucasvb I editted our post and added link! If you are lazy, https://hypeddit.com/track/gyqdum for you)

voidsay 2021-10-20 11:14

Good news everyone, my insides are still inside me! Navigating was surprisingly ok.

First I was confused how you move, then I remembered a bit of the cut scene where you zoom into a ball, so we must be rolling, right? Perhaps bringing a bit more attention to the fact that you play as a sphere could help.

I liked the wall shattering box in a box idea, I am going to "borrow" it some time :^)

rixar 2021-10-20 12:29

This game almost needs a trigger warning  I'd categorise it as a movement-horror game. I've always been very slightly susceptible to motion sickness in FPS games, but this seemed to bring it to the fore. Great job! 5 for innovation, I've never played something quite like it. Though I can't believe some folks calling it "relaxing"?! Good job...interested to see what you folks do next time.

coolestdoggie 2021-10-20 13:25

@rixar oh my gosh! it's sooo cute! Thank you :3

tricky-fat-cat 2021-10-20 13:38

This game is sick. I really like the idea. But god, I got a nausea after some time!XD

m2tias 2021-10-20 17:41

I'm surprised I made through it without feeling sick. This is so nice! Funny idea, good graphics, great soundtrack and implemented very well. Best part was bumping down the walls :D Interesting choice to use the default probuilder material in the first scene, but it seemed to fit the concept. Well done!

coolestdoggie 2021-10-20 18:44

@tricky-fat-cat @m2tias appreciate it!

dzejpi 2021-10-20 21:47

Very original take on the theme. I always love seeing 3D games! Visuals are simple, but fit well together perfectly and the controls are fun. I love how it is necessary to break the walls around you, which is a nice take on the theme as well. Although you should definitely play this when you are sober. I have three glasses of wine in me right now and the movement did not make my stomach very happy, but that’s on me! Overall this is a very nice entry and I think that this has enough potential to make it into a full game. :)

chairshot-games 2021-10-21 02:02

Really liked the game! Thought the growing mechanic was really well done, and the movement was fun. The art was nice and the music was really good. Only problem was that I fell through the grass outside and kept falling forever, but otherwise the game ran well. Overall fun and a good take on the theme. Great job!

remn 2021-10-21 19:27

You have perfectly demonstrated the power of simplicity. That's great!

reccy 2021-10-21 19:58

Awesome game, it was actually super relaxing despite the rolling-in-a-ball perspective! Music and Art was lovely and was a fun 5 minute playthrough. Great work!
