Feed the Queen by UnidayStudio 2021-10-20T11:42:13Z

Brilliant! Why doesn't this game have more ratings? I've spent a very happy hour playing through the first few levels, and this feels like something so polished it could be a full released game. The graphics are sensational for a weekend project, the animations smooth and the physics appropriately crazy and bouncy (and challenging!). I really like it, it kept making me want to retry the levels. It always felt like my own mistake (turning too fast, not planning my time etc). I'd compare it to a combination of games like Overcooked, Octodad, Fat Princess, to name a few. Really great stuff, hope you score well.

Castle fall: gatekeeper by Rs11s21n 2021-10-20T10:53:12Z

Great art, and good job getting this out in a weekend, especially as it sounds like you're one person doing it all. Love the art style, but I guess my comments are similar to the ones above about not getting completely clear feedback on how I was failing the rules. But love the different character sprites and the dark tone of suspicion. This could be expanded in interesting ways.

Wonderful little diversion! Really love the graphics and smooth movement. It reminded me of old games like Asteroid but also one I used to play a bit on PS3 called Gravity Crash. Beautiful geometric objects hitting each other and exploding in particles. Nice work, though I'd love to see my own high score on the game over screen.

Vomit Up the World by ItsHornUnicorn 2021-10-20T12:29:18Z

This game almost needs a trigger warning  I'd categorise it as a movement-horror game. I've always been very slightly susceptible to motion sickness in FPS games, but this seemed to bring it to the fore. Great job! 5 for innovation, I've never played something quite like it. Though I can't believe some folks calling it "relaxing"?! Good job...interested to see what you folks do next time.

(DE)BUGGER by PossiblyAxolotl 2021-10-20T12:10:50Z

Very good and clever design, the bugs had to be hit at just the right timing and that zoom-jump took some practice to get the hang of. I enjoyed the challenge, thanks.

Theory Of Chaos by Caerind 2021-10-20T10:41:38Z

I like the art! Especially the skull icons. The character sprites are cute, too. I had a little trouble figuring out what to do, but got it in the end. Nice touches with the protester dialogue ticker feed.

A Year of Rest by Binary Systems 2021-10-20T09:59:14Z

The theme here was intriguing and, I guess, intentionally unsettling enough that it provoked a discussion between my wife and I, and prompted her to look up the book that it's based on. I feel the art style, lighting and conversations fit the tone really well. Even the floating man in the street seemed...not out of place. I managed to rest for a month, and I admit wasn't hugely compelled to keep going, for now, though based on what might happen from the novel, I'm further intrigued. Maybe if there was just a touch more variety, or some way to further mark progress (the calendar is great, though). In the end, as an artistic experience, I felt it worked: I was a person endlessly going back and forth to the convenience store, desperate for a ciggie, waiting for the phone to ring. I admire folks taking a serious subject and turning it into this experience.

Super impressive, I love the difficulty, responsiveness and "bouncy"/"spinny" physics, not to mention the excellent "one more try" element. Clever design. And the game seems to work out in advance that you're not going to make this run, and resets you immediately. So smart. Great work, top marks.
