Bob Ross Adventure by Goutye 2018-04-24T14:30:04Z
I like the Bob Ross idea! Its a very nicely executed puzzle game which scales perfectly. I really tried to beat the LD41 level, but I just not skilled enough in the art of wet-on-wet oil painting.

Nice music and mood, but the loading does take a long time. The few times I tried I died quite early. First as I was waching another webside due while waiting for it to load. There does not seem to be a way of restarting, so you have to go through the loading process once more. (Played webversion in Chrome)
Nice little game. Maybe a few more types of fish would make it abit more enjoyable.
This was a nice idea. I liked that you had to do some strategic maneuvering in order to hit the different units. I could not hear any sound, but I guess we all had to make cuts somewhere. Well done!
Ah. almost did it with 14.7m/s at impact. My best success was with spamming one of the options without actually looking at the questions. I have a feeling that was not the intended approach. Maybe thrusters power should be reduced on wrong answers to reduce this and probably also the correct answer should be rewarded abit more power to allow time to read. All in all well done! It kept me playing for 5 rounds, which is alot more than I have normally for this reviews. Good job!
This was a nice and original idea! Well done!
Original idea! I only had to wait a little longer so I guess I lost my patience to quickly with this. Thanks for the experience though.
If you want to tryout something alot more stressfull( more like quick-fire popcorn-type @Darby Costello), please try our contribution; https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/tour-de-france-legstrong
I liked the theme combination. Great job!
A really weird mix of themes. I like it!! For most of the questions I had know idea what to answer, but I guess that was the whole idea. Please also rate our game; https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/tour-de-france-legstrong
I liked the background graphics with the nice trees and leafs falling. The guitar solo was nice :) I found it abit annoying to be stuck to the ground for such long time when swinging the sword. Theme song was kind of repetitive, but I guess that is what you get in 72h ;) Good job.
Great game, but superhard with the flappy functionality. Graphics, menu and the whole theme is awesome. Well done!

A very nice idea. I would like a bit longer line of sight before I had to press the first note, but leaving like it is atleast makes it very challenging. (Which can be what you wanted) I tried the game a few times, but I did not manage to beat wave1, so I'm not sure if there was a continous wave of it you would get some time to pause. I really did not have time to do anyting after the initial purchase, but that might be due to my lack of skills! From the other comments I guess others have done better :) Good job!
If you enjoy cycling/zombies or both, please check out our game; https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/tour-de-france-legstrong. Thanks.
A really nice game. I especially liked the mode and audio. I only played using the keyboard controllers, and thus the attacks were kind of problematic to get right. Also the highscore seemed to have an issue where my score did not reflect the highscore I got. Anyway, a nice game with an original rule-set dont in a short time! Very vell done!
High score 47, I was quite happy with that. I would have liked the response to be abit quicker. Maybe you can reduce the cooldown between hits, and rather spawn enemies quicker if the game would be too easy otherwise. Music was fitting, main character model and animation was also well done. I kind of liked that you don't really need to read the whole story before just jumping into the action. Game seems to be missing an exit button. All in all creative story and well executed!
I only played with a single keyboard, but I can see this being fun with a dual controller setup. I did not really see that the combinations matched the graphics. It would be nice if triggering the correct combinations would prevent you from crashing, while the oposite made you crash. Well done!
@Lagman9000 Thanks for your comment. Getting chased by Zombies was actually part of the original idea, but it was dropped as we had to focus on finishing other parts of the game.
@kovareka: Thanks for the comment and rating. We did infact include both these features in the game. For the web-version you need to play the game in fullscreen-mode in order to see them.
@Bad-idea : Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the turning needs some improvement, at least in the web version. If you try out the pc version hopefully it will run better for you. Allez France!
I liked the idea with this combination of genres. The car physics needs some love, as it does not really feel like a car. With some more work I can see this game is very enjoyable. God job!
There seemed to be a huge lag when the level is sidescrolling, and that made it hard to play. It workes fine when there is no scrolling but this made me give up pretty early, so I really did not get to check out the depth of the game. Good luck in getting +20 ratings though!
This was a nice and creative idea. It does not feel like I got all the way to the end, but the game finished, so I guess that was the 90% completed information. The fight for controls were pretty easy. With fine tuning it would be nice if each one had their own fighting style/weapon to make each encounter a bit different from each other. Well done getting this far!
A relaxing game. I would have liked to have a better feel to the bike when driving. Some glitches as you could see through the terrain, especially when running uphill, but that is to be expected in 72h. Well done!
I liked the game, and you executed very well! I especially enjoyed the break in mood from when the zombies entered. Well done!
(If you are not tired of zombies just yet, please checkout our contribution to this years LD; https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/tour-de-france-legstrong )
I especially liked the mood and graphics work in the menu scene. After walking for some time, I could not really find a way to go through the long fence, but this might very well be the intended idea. The hunger did not really seem to be a problem, but maybe I was just good at finding those pieces of meat. The controls could use some tweeking. Good job!
I think this was a nice idea. After a few tries I managed to get all the way to the right side of the sceen, but I got stuck behind the green thing. With some tuning this could be a very entertaining game. Maybe you should add a "Turn" ticket instead of the game mechanics handling this by its own. Also a "shoot" ticket could be interesting where you have to calculate where the enemies are moving before you decide on where to place it. All in all a nice game. Thanks!
I played the original version. Although I agree the controls are abit hard, I think it was pretty manageble. Kind of like you are controlling a boat. I liked the style and crash effects. I would liked to have an overview of stuff I needed to collect to "win". In the future, maybe new places will be unlocked once you get what you need. I was not sure how to quit the game, so I simply killed it. Maybe there was a menu that I did not find. Good job on the game!
A very creative combination of genres. The music was a good fit. Some of the text was very small. This seemed to vary between monsters. I only tried three dates, but the questions were quite repetitive. I guess this was by design as the monsters prefered different answers. The graphics was very nice! Good job!
